Yes, “principle” sort of jumped right out at those of us who had good grammar school teachers, when we spent at school on spelling, grammar but not “relationship” or “poltical correctness” training. Also, yes, WHY NOT arm teachers who qualify with a weapon and are willing to protect their schools, students and themselves, if needed., which, hopefully, would be NEVER..
SO DO I!. If the Principal and the Psychiatrist were armed, that bastard would never have made it through to the classrooms. These idiots who want to take away our guns are just as dangerous, or even more so, as the killer. If someone wants to kill, they don’t need a gun to do so. There are other more devastating ways to kill. Are we going to outlaw cars, trucks, airplanes, fertilizer, Molotov cocktails, knives, etc.? What if that pos had a bomb or other explosive devices that he threw through the windows of the school, instead of shooting them out? How many more of those angels would have been killed. No, I don’t own a gun and wouldn’t want to, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have the right to own one if it comes to defending my family or my country against any armed threat,wherever it comes from, real or imagined.
May the Lord Bless those little Angels and the teachers who gave their lives to save them.
Patriot1776, notice how the Dem’s, are attacking assault weapons, when the majority of mass murder’s in this country are committed by handguns and not by assault weapons? The Dem’s, are smart enough to know, that attacking handguns would be next to impossible, but going after assault weapons is not that difficult to do, since Democrat Dianne Feinstein was successful back in the 90′s, after it expired, they were once available again to honest American citizen’s. She is back on her podium to try and re-instate the ban on assault weapons.
All of what tis going on is the Administrations way of taking the focus off of Obama, his ineligibility and his involvement in Benghazi. The Secretary of State concussion or not should be made to testify about Benghazi, we have a whole lot of video tape incriminating her proving that she knew that she was lying to try and protect Obama from having allowed four American’s to be slaughtered and in all probability killed by weapons that he and his Administration supplied to the insurgents.
What about the our government giving the drug cartel in Mexico to so call trace them and end up killing a border patrol guard with one of the high powered gun we gave them. We need to keep our high powered rifles just in case the government comes after us. Amen

We must not become desensitized to the Newtown slayings — and our duty to defend each other — by watching the constant news coverage. Many of those trying to use Newtown as a pretext to turn the US into their genocidal gun-free zone are the same ones who promote the social instability and immorality that predictably inspire most of the murders. Those misfits deserve punishment, not our guns.

After 911, many Airlines allow their Captains that fly commercial aircraft to be armed, why not allow principals to be armed as well? America is a violent nation and as the economy goes further in the wrong direction, violence will increase.
There is no way anyone can stop a “Loan Wolf” that is on a mission to slaughter as many people as he possibly can, if a gun was not available, he would have used a knife, a bomb or some other means to kill as many as possible.

The very powerful teachers union claiming to fight for teachers right is a FAKE! They have also a right to live and defend themselves.
