Now the finger-pointing begins over who is going to take the blame for the Administration’s inaction after the murder of four Americans in Benghazi. The six-plus hour attack was being monitored by a UAV gathering intelligence and streaming it back home via live video stream. The line that the military couldn’t be dispatched because of the lack of intelligence is no excuse. If not, what was the drone doing? Flying airshow maneuvers? Leaked State Department emails exposed the fact that they knew when the attack began, how many attackers, and by who. In a sporting analogy, somebody dropped the ball.

The State Department knew that the consulate was under attack; and two hours into the attack, they briefed State Department Officials and the White House on who attacked the facility. They knew that it was the Libyan militant group Ansar al-Sharia. When she accepted this job, Hillary Clinton intended to serve 4 years but no more. Instead of taking the fall for this fiasco, she now plans to stay at State for another four years. Hillary will most likely have the last word with the panel she set up to investigate the Benghazi attack. She and the President will most likely blame the liberal’s favorite target: the military and intelligence agencies.

To excuse his inaction, Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta told reporters he couldn’t deploy forces into harm’s way without real-time information. Mr. Panetta, there was a UAV overhead during the assault, maybe a few other assets also; and as a former Army Intelligence officer, he should know that. He pointed out that there was a great deal of confusion in the area; and by the time American Special Forces arrived in the area, the assault was over. That begs the question: when were the orders sent to deploy the troops?
Mr. Panetta criticized various Congressional Republicans for armchair quarterbacking. General Martin (Future Wal-Mart greeter) Dempsey urged people to shut-up and wait for the State Department report concerning the incident. Review of the attack is being conducted to develop an understanding of what happened. This is beltway lingo for “Don’t blame us.”

It’s everyone else’s fault. Unlike Democrats of old, the buck never stops at Barack Obama’s desk. All of this finger-pointing is an attempt to provide cover for an inept President during an election year. Despite the best spin of talking heads, the historians will associate the Benghazi murders with this Administration.

You are absolutely correct. The Benghazi fact pattern of federal employees callously abandoning our citizens to certain death constitutes second degree murder in virtually all jurisdictions. And America moronically trusts these kinds of federal employees with our nukes? I’ve run command centers and know there are ALWAYS rapid response contingency rescue plans for even the most desperate situations. Yep, Obama, Hillary, Panetta and the lying lamestream media are guily of “accessory to murder.” With the cowardly RINOs in DC I don’t know if any justice will be done soon. This is almost unforgivable. And no one can take the blame. That’s pathetic. What a low-life scum of the earth so-called president.
No, Christian, it’s not “almost unforgivable,” it IS unforgivable, and I hope Congressman Issa and others make Hillary, Panetta, Petraeus and any and everybody else involved appear before their committees and be required to give sworn testimony about all of this. Then, if they lie, they can also be prosecuted for perjury. Once that’s done, I think there will be enough evidence to impeach Obama.
Yes, but please keep in mind that a criminal murder charge requires an action. Not doing something is not murder. This was settled here long ago in various drowning cases. Nope, watching some guy drown while sipping a brew and eating a brat is A-okay. Maybe this seems wrong (it was outrageous then), but with enemy tribesmen in charge of our government today, we can be glad they can’t throw you in jail for not doing what they decide you should have done. There was no rescue attempt because this was an Obama & Clinton planned kidnapping of the ambassador for the Muslim Brotherhood to trade for the blind sheikh that Egypt wants released. This is why the those in the annex were told to “Stand Down” so they did not interfere in the kidnapping. This was Obama’s October surprise being a hero by trading the blind sheikh for the ambassador.
Obama’s October surprised himself with Benghazi. I want to know the NAME of the person who gave the stand down order (not the agency he worked for.) Hillary as Sec. of State could have over rode this order but she did not, possibly because she cannot over ride a order from the President. In that case he HAD to know ! We will probably never know..
The CIA was also contacted for assistance but it was denied. When a couple of operative went to their aid anyway they were ordered to stand down. Unbelievable!
Obama has now gone beyond fecklessness over into craven cowardice.

Simple self evident observation about Obama and his Administration are that all of these deaths of innocent people are a joke and cruel, cold blooded murder with no signs of remorse in any way shape or fashion. Whether these victims are from Fast and Furious, Benghazi or the 10,000 in Syria, this radical, Communist, Muslim has to be neutralized in one way or another as well as his Administration. The reason Obama told the troops to stand down and let the terrorists murder the Lybian Ambassador Stevens and his staff was because Obama had been running guns to this same terrorist group during the rebellion against Kaddafi. He knew if our troops killed the terrorists, the serial numbers on their AK47′s could be traced back to guns seized by our military from terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama would have another big “Fast and Furious” investigation just before the election. He is currently running Ak47′s into Syria to support the Islamic rebels there. Ambassador Stevens and his staff were just another bump in the road toward Obama’s reelection.
