A professor at a taxpayer-supported state university has called for the murder of the president of the NRA. Apparently the carnage in Newtown, Connecticut was not enough slaughter to satisfy the blood lust of Erik Loomis, PhD, assistant professor of history at the University of Rhode Island. Oliver Darcy of Campus Reform reports:
A professor of history turned to Twitter over the weekend to call for the death of National Rifle Association (NRA) CEO Wayne LaPierre, branding the gun rights group he heads as a terrorist organization.
“[I] want Wayne LaPierre’s head on a stick,” Erik Loomis, a professor at the University of Rhode Island (URI),tweeted.
It “looks like the National Rifle Association has murdered some more children,” he added.”
Can [we] define NRA membership as dues contributing to a terrorist organization?” he asked in a separate tweet.

YES ! So why isn’t he being put in jail ? Because he’s on the “other side” ? The “wrong side” now is the right side ?!?!?!? If I was CEO Wayne LaPierre, I would be pressing charges against him….that is a threat on his life !!!!! These people make me sick….instead of locking up the crazy people…..they would rather throw away their freedoms ! Believe me, if the guns go, our freedoms are GONE !!! The liberals can promote murder, of both the unborn and the already living and that’s ok: but to demand that death penalties be carried out, when people commit murders of innocents, is somehow wrong. This just goes to prove that the democrats have absolutely no standards, and only react to situations, rather than finding a solution. This professor needs to lose his job and any future benefits, for promoting illegal activity. You notice, like a true liberal, he wants someone else to do the dirty work, while he just sits back and waits for results. THrow the fool in a mental institution, because he is most likely a mental case.
Free speech gives one the right to say whatever he pleases! Civil law gives society the right to prosecute speech that harms others!
This Communist professor has publicly threatened the NRA president on Twitter an internet site that crosses state lines. This is a federal offense, why isn’t this piece of trash behind bars? If it was a conservative, the FBI would be in his face asap!. The tragedy in Connecticut was the work of a deranged, drug induced madman, not Mr. LaPierre. Armed and trained teachers and/or security with an alarm system, would have prevented the carnage. These are the type of loons that teach our kids and indoctrinate them against our Constitutional rights. He should be immediately fired and blacklisted from ever teaching again. He is no better that the crazed killer!
Man, history professors seem to be the ones that have drunk the most liberal Kool-Aid. My daughter’s history professor was telling her class how great Socialism is and what a great job Obama has done…that he needed another 4 years to finish what he started. Frankly, I’m scared to see him finish what he’s started. Now we have a history professor that seems to think that more violence is the answer to violence. That somehow, if we kill someone that’s in favor of the 2nd Amendment, all will be well in the world.
I hope your daughter had the nerve to stand up to him and tell him that isn’t what the USA is all about, and if he likes Socialism, he needs to move somewhere that has that form of government. Oh wait, they probably don’t want him if he’s over a certain age, and would become a drain on their economy. They only want young people with money to come to their country to live. Australia is the same way. If you are over a certain age, you aren’t welcomed to go live there. Bring your money and visit, by all means, if you want to pay their outrageous prices for everything, but then, go home.

Professors have taught socialism for at least fifty years one way or another…..a few taught it when I went to college in ’58…now it like coming out of the closet..even in high schools.

A very foolish way of thinking, is to blame the tools if the end product does no turn out perfect. Those with twisted minds think that prohibiting citizen’s gun ownership will have some impact on criminals. If you think this through, you will realize that obeying laws is not what criminals normally do. Each restriction on freedom to possess guns, is a direct violation of the 2nd amendment to the Constitution. Guns in the hands of citizens protect us from criminals. Criminals on the prowl fear at least three things; a. Lights or Cameras, b. watch dogs, and c. guns. Criminals want to avoid discovery, dog bites, and gunshot wounds. Each shooting event seems to be first blamed on the existance of guns. Why should a gun owner be blamed for crimes any more than other law abiding citizens? Why do rogue politicians and crack pot professors want to attack our 2nd Admendment? The professor’s threat on the life of NRA’s President is more reason why he should have a gun on his person at all times to fend off the professor. Again, I may be too critical; it may just be time for the professor to visit his “shrink” for his 100,000 mile tune up.
Where did this man get his education because if he had of gotten a good education and was smart enough to read the Constitution he would have known guns are a right of people to own and it is not the gun that pulls the trigger it is the idiot behind the gun. What good is it going to do to strip people of the right to own a gun or protect themselves.
When hey made guns did they put a thing in the gun that tells the gun to pull the trigger? I didn’t think so and all of these people saying ban guns and want to take on the NRA are barking up the wrong tree. If a human crazy person did not have the gun shooting like at the school would not happen. I feel for the children and the adults killed by this crazy nut but that is no reason to ban guns. I don’t like guns and have never owned one but just because that is the way I feel is no reason to want everyone else not to be able to own a gun. It is the automatic rifles that cause the many deaths and there is no reason for a person on the street to have that type of gun.

Wayne La Pierre is an American Citizen. That does not mean much today if you are a conservative; especially a constitutional one but, in this constitutional Republic, Loomis is promoting violence and calling in essence for the beheading of LaPierre. Who the devil does he think he is to promote murder; a Jihadist member of the Muslim Brotherhood? Though the compromised Holder DOJ has been trying to implement Sharia law into our system at an ever increasing rate, the prime source and only one I recognize of the rule of law in THIS country is the United States constitution. What Loomis is ecouraging is murder and resulting domestic violence; by it’s very nature an act of terrorism and he should be arrested and tried for it. What Loomis has publicly stated , free speech not witstanding and especially in light of rthe Newtown event, is utterly wrong and irresponsible. If he were to sit in a crowded theatre and scream fire and there was none and people were killed or injured, he would be held responsible, HE SHOULD BE NOW!
