Mitt Romney with supporters 2 SC Princeton Economist: Obama Campaign Is Misrepresenting My Study on Romneys Tax Plan

Last night, the Obama campaign blasted out another email claiming that Mitt Romney’s tax plan would either require raising taxes on the middle class or blowing a hole in the deficit. “Even the studies that Romney has cited to claim his plan adds up still show he would need to raise middle-class taxes,” said the Obama campaign press release. “In fact, Harvard economist Martin Feldstein and Princeton economist Harvey Rosen both concede that paying for Romney’s tax cuts would require large tax increases on families making between $100,000 and $200,000.”

  1. I don’t know where most people are from in this country. Most I know do not make over $100,000 that are considered middle class. In my area this would set them above middle class. Geez get real.

  2. LOL I agree sda53. I never considered someone making over $100,000 as MIDDLE CLASS!! If that’s the case since we have always made between $45,000-$50,000 makes us lower class or maybe poor which would qualify us for food stamps etc !!!!! LOL Is’t it such a joke how they like to move the numbers around depending on how it will benefit “THE ONE”

  3. The issue is not where the middle class begins and ends… the issue is the lies that continue to be promulgated by the Obama administration. We are in the bracket referred to and we are not rich! These days, the only people who are allowed to have money (without jealousy and the scorn of America’s leaders) are the politicians themselves… Obama just bought a $32 million estate in Hawaii… Really???

    • I read where it was a $35 million estate and some rich woman who rides around with him on AFOne bought it for them…..I believe his mother in law spoke out of turn when she said to someone in the press, “they” bought it for obamas. Don’t know who “they” is……

  4. IS THIS A SURPRISE TO ANYONE, THE MF MISREPRESENTS FROM THE TIME THE ROTTEN HIDE GETS UP AND IT’S LIPS STARTS MOVING……….WHAT KIND OF MORONS ARE THESE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT THINK THIS MONGREL HAS ALL IT’S MARBLES, YOU SAW THE TRUE MINDLESS MORON IN THE DEBATES, I BELIEVE IT’S BEEN SMOKIN AND SNORTEN COCAIN EVERYDAY FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS, THIS CREATURE HAS SERIOUS MENTAL PROBLEMS AND CERTAINLY SHOULDN’T BE LEADING THE ONE LAST HOLD OUT OF THE FREE WORLD, WHICH IT IS DISPARATELY TRYING TRYING TO BREAK IT’S BACK AND UP TILL NOW THE SOB HAS DONE A NUMBER ON US.
