“Politics and religion don’t mix” is an ill-conceived America adage that has been passed from generation to generation. It is false an ideology and an essential reason why America, the greatest nation on earth has fallen to its knees spiritually, morally, and economically.
The Founding Fathers never envisioned an America where the Bible was out-of-bounds when defining public policy. They unabashedly called upon the name of the Lord God Almighty for His providence and applied His principals when forming the Constitution of the United States of America.
Their words speak for themselves:
•George Washington: ”Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor.
•Benjamin Franklin: “”I have lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth – that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?”
•Thomas Jefferson: “The God Who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time.”
•Alexander Hamilton: “The sacred rights of mankind are not to be rummaged for, among old parchments, or musty records. They are written, as with a sun beam, in the whole volume of human nature, by the hand of the divinity itself; and can never be erased or obscured by mortal power.”
The Declaration of Independence enumerated certain rights bestowed upon us by our Creator: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They are the roots of freedom; roots that can only be nurtured and preserved by through obedience to the Words of the Lord God Almighty.
“Politics and religion don’t mix” is piety marked by conspicuous religiosity. God’s precepts have been removed from public policy. Political correctness: progressive, humanistic ideology, has taken its place. America is being guided and governed by man-centered providence.
Jesus warns against those who aspire to political correctness. He says:
•Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. (Matthew 15:14)
•…in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. (Matthew 15:9)
•Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? (Luke 6:39)
“Politics and religion do mix” – A nation cannot receive God’s providence without obedience to His Holy Word. America is living on the blessings of our Founding Fathers, which are about to run out.
Christian Americans, do not forsake your faith on Election Day through indifference or your ballot. Christian officials, do not forsake your faith to craft and enact ungodly laws.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. (Psalm 33:12) The choice is ours to make.

It was true then and it is true today. God has been good to this country up til the time our moral values decayed. We have the Anti-Christ in the White House and we have his Angels of Evil at his side trying with all their might to destroy what God has blessed for more than 235 years. I guess that makes me a gun-loving , Bible totin’ Right Wing Terrorist, doesn’t it?
I’m proud to be that!
Christianity has ALWAYS proved a mortal threat to the left. They have sworn to stamp it out as it’s principles refute virtually everything for which the left stands.
I wish I had see this before I recently posted my own article entitled Politics & Religion. An excellent piece with often overlooked quotes from our forefathers.
