A new report the Planned Parenthood national abortion business recently released shows the embattled agency did more abortions in 2009 than it has done in any prior year. The report also shows it providing fewer pregnant women with non-abortion services.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America recently posted on its website what it calls its service numbers for 2009. This document, dated February 2011, shows Planned Parenthood affiliates nationwide did 332,278 surgical abortions or abortions using the dangerous RU 486 abortion during in 2009.
That’s 2.5 percent more abortions than the September 2010 report the abortion business released covering 2008 and showing it doing 324,008 abortions, which was a 6.1 percent increase over the 305,310 abortions it did in 2007. The 2007 figure was itself a 5.3 percent increase over the 289,750 abortions Planned Parenthood did in 2006.
With approximately 1.2 million abortions done annually in the United States via surgical abortions or the mifepristone abortion drug, Planned Parenthood has increased its share of the abortion industry to 27.6 percent of all abortions done annually.
Planned Parenthood has been on the receiving end of significant negative publicity related to undercover videos showing its officials helping investigators posing as sex traffickers obtain abortions and STD testing for underage girls who are victims of the sex trade. The abortion business has defended itself in part by attempting to show that abortions constitute a small percentage of its overall services.
However, the new numbers make it more clear that women who are pregnant who come to Planned Parenthood receive only abortion services rather than help and support.
The new document the abortion organization posted shows Planned Parenthood provided prenatal services to merely 7,021 women and referred only 977 women for adoption services. These numbers were a 25 percent drop in prenatal care clients and a whopping 59 percent decline in adoption referrals from the 2,405 adoption referrals in 2008. The abortion business helped only 9,433 prenatal clients in 2008, down substantially from the 11,000 women it provided prenatal care to in 2007 — showing health care given to pregnant woman has fallen substantially over the years.
As a result, 97.6 percent of pregnant women going to Planned Parenthood are sold abortions while less than 2.4 percent of pregnant women received non-abortion services including adoption and prenatal care. That’s up from 96.5 percent of pregnant women going to Planned Parenthood getting abortions in 2008.

If you do not believe in abortion, don't have on and stop trying to force your religious beliefs on those that don't have them. If you "Bastards" are so concerned about BABIES then take financial responsibility of any BABY that results from you talking a woman from having an abortion, when it is actually a BABY. When a fetus actually becomes a living, breathing, feeling BABY and some one murders it, then I am with you, prosecute. The act of abortion is between the Lord and the person having the abortion and it is none of your business. Personally, I do not believe the Lord cares one way or the other. It is only busy bodies like you that are causing the trouble.
Put you money where your mouth is and take financial responsibility at least one unwanted baby that you have cause to be born!!!!

I have taken care of my children and would gladly raise more if it would prevent the killing of another human being. Right now my brothers family is taking care of to children that have been adopted. I am their godfather and was turn down because I am a single male. I have the resources and have the experience of raising children alone, but can only provide funds to charities and please don't throw the religious card on me. I really understand if it is going to cause health problems to either the mother or the child, but to be used as a birth control method and thinking that any human life is less deserving of a chance is wrong. Yes it is your choice, but there are other options and I really would prefer my tax dollars to go to any part of this. You may use my tax dollars for tree things in this situation. One medical cost for the birth of the child, two finding the child a home and last if it would save the mothers life and she has not the funds to pay for it.
So I guess I am pro life and pro choice and understand this is a much more complicated issue than the talking points of either side.
With the information and availability of birth control, I can't believe there are still this many abortions performed here.

I bet you'd find the increases are due to illegal sex, sex among school age kids called casual sex and the sex among illegals who fear a hospital birth will reveal their presence. We know all three demographics are on the rise. Given PP ONLY accounts for 26% of the business I dare say they predominantly serve these three groups. Stopping PP will result in a huge increase in unwanted children, higher crime, lower school achievement in the areas where they are concentrated and worst of all, an element in society that has proven itself to only vote for money or benefits. The only way to stop it all is to hold people accountable and not simply hand out aid without a price. I prefer to strip the vote of people who remain on public assistance due to their own actions. If we must endure populations of irresponsible people then they owe the ones who care for them everything.
I watched the bitches on the View show the other day, they had a few women that are pro-abortion. Guess what they said? One woman said only 10% of the money going to Planned Parenthood that comes from taxpayers, go toward abortions? Yet the figures in the above article show an increase in abortions. I think we need more of those undercover videos to show the public were our taxes are going and what they pay for! Also, you should all see my favorite bumper sticker:" Save a Baby, Abort Obama". I guess i'm a hypocrite huh?
Whem US citizens feel children unaffordable yet immigrants both legal and non flock here just to have children and the government literally pays them for it we have a CRISIS. Look who is coming in at our expense. The US has no future if it will not secure the lives of it's own citizens before bringing in replacement who will live on the cheap while demanding we accept their LOW expectations. I guess we will need a good slap in the face to wake up. That starts by facing the responsibility of parenting, sex, deby, work and civil obedience. No Obama, we are not going to accept the cultures that only thrive in tribal settings where life is reduced to a day to day event escaping death.

doctor and should be paid for by that patient or the father. I only say this because there are some
