Thank you for this information! I have been watching the main stream media to see if or when they will report on this information and there has been no reports at this point….It is now 4 and 1/2 hrs. later. Thank you Sherrif Joe and all who have done this investigation + thank you to the 250 tea Party members that made it an important issue. God helps only those who help themselves.
God didn’t help Russia when Bolsheviks took the power and murdered up to 50 MLN of own citizens.

So, why would God help the USA?
Helping people seems to be not in His To-Do list.

The “quote” you came up with that everyone thinks is from the Bible “God helps those who help themselves” is not from the Bible.
The people in Russia in 1917 were fooled by 17,000 Bolsheviks into rebelling against the Csar. The Bolsheiks then took power with the full support of the people. They got the government they wanted and deserved. When you reject God in your daily life and in your government, why would He help you?
The German people elected Hitler in a landslide and they cheered for him and swore allegiance to him. Even Austria voted for Hitler, a German, to be their leader by 90%. They called Hitler, the Fuehrer, their father, their Messiah. Why would God want to help a country that completely rejected Him?
When His people in the old testament rejected God, He let them do their own thing, and when they made a complete mess of their lives and repented, He took them back.
Now, we have taken God out of our schools, can’t celebrate Christmas, can’t pray, took Him out of our government, erasing all mention of Him in books, yet allowing all kinds of perversions in the media, electing an amoral man to the presidency, who campaigned in Germany.
“So, why would God help the USA?” Why, indeed?
Why indeed would He help those who reject Him, especially those who know Him but knowingly reject Him. That’s referred to Biblically as the unpardonable sin. He allows mankind free will in choosing the path they wish to follow even when it is clear in hindsight that they are following a path to tragedy, the mass murder of millions, as it was in the cases cited. He never abandons or forsakes us even even when we are willfully engaged in unspeakable sin. Case in point was the Israelites who abandoned God and took up the practices of the Cannanites among them, idolatry etc., against his specific admonition/covenant never to do it. His prophets continued to warn them for 400 years whence His patience finally expired and He brought down His wrath upon them. They were conquered and taken captive by the Babylonians. But He took them back when they repented and returned them to their land with the help of his agents, the Persians.
America is in a steep downward spiral of moral and spiritual degeneracy with unprecedented hatred for God and persecution of those professing allegiance to the Judeo-Christian faith with ever increasing frequency. The persistent murder of defenseless children on the altar of hedonism for the past 40 years which is euphemistically disguised and referred to as “pro-choice planned parenthood” has to rank right up there with the holocausts cited in the two examples. In terms of actual numbers to date it exceeds anything in recorded history. If not stopped America will surely be the subject of God’s judgement at some point in the future, possibly sooner than later. Ironically the Persians (Iranians) could be the chosen agents of His wrath. “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and repent of their sins, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land (II Chronicles 7:14).”

1. My – I emphasize: MY – phrase God helps only those who help themselves is not from the Bible, and I didn’t say it was “a quote”, you said.

An undeniable fact that Bolsheviks have murdered MILLIONS of own compatriots (out of approx. 140 MLN of the total population in 1917) proves that your assertion that “Bolsheiks took power with the full support of the people” is very far from truth. Remember, it was a 4-year long Civil War? Full support, my ass.
3. “rebelling against the Czar” you mentioned took place in the February Revolution 1917.
There was no Czar anymore, when Bolsheviks in their coup d’Etat had overthrown the Democratically-elected Provisional Government (in which my great-uncle, Alexander Konovalov, was one of Ministers).

Most of Russians DID NOT reject God: Russia ALWAYS was very Christian country.
