BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) — House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi on Monday defended her Senate counterpart for claiming that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney hasn’t paid income taxes for 10 years.
Romney has said he pays taxes every year and that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., is wrong.
Top Republicans say Reid is telling lies.
Pelosi, who was campaigning in Florida, said though the allegation is unproven she didn’t think Reid was wrong to put it out there. Reid has said only that the tip came from a former Romney associate. He also has said he isn’t sure it’s true.
Reid has raised the claim in media interviews and on the Senate floor.

I think they both need to be committed. Reid is so definitely out of line. Why is he talking about something that he has no facts on – just “someone said…”. this man has lost it. Of course, Pelosi never had it to bgin with and she thinks it’s all right for him to put out something that has not been verified and porpbably is a lie.

Of course she backs up Reid. They are birds of a feather, both cut of the same cloth as Obama, liars in chief. None of them could tell the truth is they had to. What is it about these people. Democrats are the best politicians. They never let truth get in their way.
I really would like to see their financial statements, compared from one year to the next. Their lies have made them rich. They have stolen from the American people with their insider trading and special deals.

Would you expect Pelosi to say anything different? She doesn’t see anything wrong with “putting unproven allegations out there”. Same as she did with Obama’s eligibility that was never proven. Pelosi is the one that supposedly vetted Obama for the DNC and confirmed he was eligible without seeing original documentation.
Democrats / liberals – Go ahead, put it out there, we don’t need facts to convince our supporters.
