A group of like-minded patriots, bound together by pride in American exceptionalism, plan on building an armed community to protect their liberty.
The group, named Citadel, intends to purchase 2,000 to 3,000 acres for the project in western Idaho. The community will comprise of 3,500 to 7,000 families of patriotic Americans who “voluntarily choose to live together in accordance with Thomas Jefferson’s ideal of Rightful Liberty.”
According to the Citadel website, Rightful Liberty means that “neighbors keep their noses out of other neighbors’ business, that neighbors live and let live.”
Citadel explains that residents in the community will be bound by the following:
Patriotism
Pride in American Exceptionalism
Our proud history of Liberty as defined by our Founding Fathers, and
Physical preparedness to survive and prevail in the face of natural catastrophes –such as Hurricanes Sandy or Katrina — or man-made catastrophes such as a power grid failure or economic collapse.
Residents should also agree that being “prepared for the emergencies of life and being proficient with the American icon of Liberty — the Rifle — are prudent measures.”
Some of the benefits of the Citadel community include a safe, well-prepared, patriotic community where children will be educated in school, not indoctrinated.

As long as they are what they say they are. And don’t start some kind of Child Marrying, Child Abusing Sect. They have every Right to Do that!! Sounds to me what America was intended to be from it’s Inception!! The only reason why you Wouldn’t want to live like that say is because you, yourself is Corrupt or Corruptable!! I am in hopes that they are able to live a happy and Serene Life there, and that the Idea Catches on with other Uncorruptable Groups out there in this Country!!

Absolutely, makes it easier than going house to house. Just get about 5-10,000 together with $500,000 worth of weapons stored and destroy it all with one nights mission. Govt is going to love those camps.

Such encounters as you described are a matter of recent history first in an armed confrontation at dusk with a decorated WW II and Korean war veteran named Gordon Kahl on a North Dakota highway in 1983. Water boarding would have been considered child’s play compared to the abuses employed by agents striving to get information from his past friends encountered on his arduous journey from North Dakota to Arkansas after being blamed for the death of an officer while defending himself in fading light against those that had already gunned down his son? Can you imagine having your head swollen to the size of a basketball for having been a past friend of their suspect? It has been proven many times that the death or wounding of a fellow officer opens the gate for their stampede of vigilante justice retaliation evident in all third world systems.
His having organized the first Texas chapter of Posse Comitatus rooted in the Act of 1878 became the biggest drawing card for the US Marshals Service and FBI ending in his and the local sheriff’s execution in Arkansas. His teaching others of illegality and class target of the sixteenth amendment was their prudent cause for his arrest for probation violation imposed to provide for his continuous surveillance by early release from a failure to file conviction. Postmortem autopsy of Kahl’s body was blocked for 20 years with decomposition providing little evidence contrary to official police reports.
Radio tapes of official police conversation recorded at the time of execution in Arkansas were immediately seized by the FBI. Investigation of the event by an Arizona organization that investigates all deaths of peace officers with intent of future prevention of more casualties found little corroboration of official reports by evidence at the scene. A totally fictitious TV movie for cover of the illegal government over reach was produced by “Propaganda Films Inc.”and aired on network TV and internationally as “In the Line of Duty: Manhunt in the Dakotas”. Its conclusion was as remote from all facts as were the seized tapes. Official propaganda has been in use by US military since it’s inception in WW II with a Hollywood producer rising to the rank of vice admiral among more deserving USN officers.
Misdirection of an enemy in war by such propaganda has been broadly accepted and practiced by TV media in the US with 60 years of innuendo and biased slander of any patriot crying “foul”. From their malicious attack on Sen Joe McCarthy to anyone apt to get air time from other network competition today their complicity in treasonous conspiracy has risen to a brazen crescendo belligerence of A declaration by the US senate press corps began the character attack using their media created term of McCarthyism in response to his accusation of State Department infiltration by suspected communists. The actions of the department continue to arouse patriotic suspicion of continuation of infiltration.
The second documented government over reach in 1992 northern Idaho Ruby Ridge may well have been complete annihilation of the family of former green beret Randy Weaver but for protesting by local residents protesting as near to the Weaver cabin as allowed by the perimeter established by USMS and FBI.
The absurdity of corrupt agencies with obvious intent of fraudulent results is well covered by a wiki search for Ruby Ridge.
Based on false reports by a neighbor loser in a property dispute with Weaver, false news reporting by a glory hunting flyover reporter, false ATF reports, and an FBI HRT sniper operating under shoot on sight Viki Weaver while she held a babe in arms are all contributory to public demand of the ensuing DOJ OPR review of rules of engagement and the out of court $4 million damage settlement to minimize exposure of their accepted measures of government abuse. The result was that with both tactics and shooters were moved on to Waco with much improved equipment and orders to take no prisoners that could expose them for what they are.
The swift trial and execution of Tim McVeigh for the Oklahoma City bombing on the Waco anniversary was probably expected after Waco’s ignition date on the anniversary of a peaceful fall of the CSAL in Arkansas eight years earlier with W J Clinton’s approval through his AG with encouragement of use of military force after 50 days of siege.
This will not work. To many though shall not’s. I am with milmberg. My home is mine. And if it falls I can always go over to my neighbors or their neighbors.

The guvmint in their all knowing, all intrusive mannerisms will not allow something like this to go unchallenged. You can bet your bottom dollar the guvmint will send in the troops (read inspectors, social workers, etc) to make certain “children” are not being abused, that children are being properly “indoctrinated” in obomanism, etc, etc, etc. The elites in La-La land know better than us peons what is good for us and they are hell bent on forcing this crap down our collective throats. What I say is we should “shove it up their collective butts”.
I wish the Citadel people all the luck in the world in their project. But be prepeared for an onslought of guvmint beaurocracy to try and stop you in any and all ways that they can think of, legal or otherwise.
Being patriotic and prepared is an honorable and wise choice. Publicizing and making direct challenge to an evil and malevolent government is not so wise. It is prudent to prepare for what is coming but advertising your location and numbers is an invitation to assault by mass forces that you cannot defend against. Our family, all of us, are prepared but you will not see us or hear from us until the food stamp zombies have killed each other or starved to death on their own. Be smart, not stubbornly instigative, you just might survive to fight again.
Every encounter will reveal both the future risks and unavvoidable conflict whether congressional or public complete with media omission. The only mystery remaining is the straw that breaks the camels back and lights the fires of revolution in absence of over due congressional action. FEMA is ready to provide a permanent home complete with caskets for all that refuse to recognize the ominous threat.
