AN OPEN LETTER TO SARAH PALIN
Dear Sarah,
On August 28 you stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and urged thousands of conservative activists and patriots to honor the men and women in our military. You appealed to all Americans to restore traditional values to our country and to celebrate all who have fought to preserve our freedoms and protect our country’s founding principles.
You told the crowd that our military was “a force for good in this country” and you even took time to personally honor several military veterans onstage; imploring the crowd to look at them for inspiration.
Sarah, patriotic Americans do look to the military for inspiration and we do honor their service. No one deserves our support, our respect, our thanks, and our prayers more than those who serve with honor in our armed forces. We thank you for shining the spotlight on them and we know that you will continue to do so.
Unfortunately, there was a glaring “oversight” at the Restoring Honor rally that August day in our nation’s capital. It was not so much an oversight however as it was an intentional omission.
No one, including you, had the courage to speak out and pay tribute to a true patriot: Lt. Col. Terry Lakin who is currently being court-martialed by the United States Army. Lt. Col. Lakin is facing trial later this month because he decided to challenge Barack Hussein Obama’s constitutional authority as president of the United States and commander-in-chief of our military.
On March 30 of this year, Lt. Col. Lakin respectfully wrote a letter to Mr. Obama and explained that his military oath requires that he swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Lt. Col. Lakin went on to explain that he had attempted to get answers to the many questions surrounding Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS from both his superiors and his Congressional delegation, all to no avail.
And what was Mr. Obama’s response to Lt. Col. Lakin’s letter? Nothing. Only silence. Quite telling coming from the purported Commander-in Chief. Quite telling indeed.
Sarah, ask yourself: What leader, elected in a free society, who also serves as the commander-in-chief of a volunteer military, sworn to uphold the Constitution, and entrusted to protect our country and its citizens, would allow any member of the military to be court-martialed for want of a document that he himself could and should provide as indisputable proof that he was in fact, constitutionally qualified to hold that position of power and authority? Well, it’s certainly not a person who has nothing to hide. This has become increasingly obvious as the American people endure each passing day of the Obama regime. This is an outrage!
Patriotic citizens who serve in uniform deserve to be treated with respect and forthrightness. It is an absolute imperative that they know without question, whether the commander-in chief is lawfully entitled to serve in that capacity or not. In fact ALL Americans deserve to know! No exceptions! Since when did our elected officials become exempt from the laws and procedures, we as Americans must follow?
America is in crisis right now. We have a usurper in the White House; a man who has perpetrated the greatest crime ever against the American people. The issue of eligibility should be the No.1 issue in America today. It should be front page news every day until it is resolved. Unfortunately, it’s intentionally not being reported and no one in the government will touch it. Cowards! Where are the leaders?
The Obama eligibility issue is the most important issue facing us today because it goes to the heart of our national security and maintaining the integrity of the Constitution and rule of law. The issue continues to simmer and bubble up as more and more Americans learn that something is rotten in Washington. This issue needs to be addressed now. Many Americans are worried and distraught, divided and confused over how this could have happened. The internet is ablaze with information that absolutely exposes the Obama’s fraud and criminality, but no one in our government or the media will dare bring this to widespreadnational attention. We need a leader, a patriot who will step up to a microphone and challenge Mr. Obama once and for all.
As a consequence of Obama’s failure to provide proof of eligibility, Lt. Col. Lakin decided that until Mr. Obama could assure the American people that he was indeed constitutionally eligible to serve as Commander-in-Chief his only alternative was to honor his oath as an officer and refuse to deploy to Afghanistan. Without sufficient proof from Obama that validated his eligibility to be POTUS, it is Lt. Col. Lakin’s contention that he and all other military officers may very well be following illegal orders.
The indisputable truth is that we do not know the man in the White House. We do not know if he is even an American! We do not know his legal name or who his natural father is with absolute certainty. We have no proof of his true citizenship, or whether or not he is even in the United States legally. We do know that if we take Obama at his word (a difficult premise for sure) that he cannot be a natural born American given the fact that his father was Kenyan; but is he even a native born American? We just don’t know! Can someone please tell us when and where Obama was actually born including what state and what hospital? Remember that Obama has never provided one scintilla of evidence to support the fact that he is either a native or natural born American. Only his supporters during the 2008 campaign, when it became an issue, made any attempt to lay the issue to rest. The document they produced however has been proven to be a forgery and even if it was legitimate is not sufficient proof by any legal standard. It’s a travesty that America has to endure this unknown in the White House as he is destroys America from within! What has this country become?
What we do know though, is that Barack Obama is an extremely dishonest man – by any measure. One need only listen to his rhetoric and observe his actions to see that does not have the values of our Founding Fathers. Obama is unabashedly anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-life and an appeaser of those who seek to destroy us. He has disrespected and insulted America’s allies at every turn, and he has been tireless in his efforts to impose his Marxist agenda on the American people. His policies are the antithesis of our founding principles. Obama is bankrupting the nation and robbing us and our children of our cherished freedoms and liberty and his failure to protect the American people is contemptible.
We also know that Barack Hussein Obama (is that really his legal name?) is a self-admitted dual citizen and thus ineligible to be president under Article II of the Constitution. Nevertheless, he sits illegally in the White House arrogantly pushing his radical agenda, lying to the American people who elected him and systematically shredding the U.S. Constitution, the supreme law of our land. Obama has violated his oath repeatedly and he has shown clearly that he cannot be trusted by the American people!
And yet no calls for investigations from the elected representatives in government and silence from the leaders on the Right when it comes to Obama’s ultimate crime, the usurpation of the White House. Presidential hopefuls, Gingrich, Pawlenty, Romney, Huckabee, Thune, Daniels, and yes you, Sarah, are all silent on the eligibility issue. And of course there is nary a peep from any of them about the Lakin court-martial which has proven to be a farce of the highest order. This is shameful. What’s going on? What country do we live in? Where are the leaders? Where is our George Washington, our Paul Revere, or our Patrick Henry? Where Sarah is our Joan of Arc?
Lt. Col. Lakin on the other hand, has dedicated his adult life to service of his country. He has served with loyalty, honor, dignity and courage. He is a leader! He does not deserve the abhorrent disdain and disrespect exhibited by Mr. Obama. Lakin’s court-martial is a sham and contravenes the values upon which this great country was founded.
Lakin is laying his reputation, his career, and his personal freedom on the line for all America. He is doing it for you and for me. He is doing it for all Americans, your children and future generations. He is doing it because he believes that the U.S. Constitution must be upheld and respected at all costs. Failure to uphold the Constitution and America ceases to exist as we know it today and as the Founding Fathers intended it to be. Lt. Col Lakin is doing EXACTLY, Sarah, what you talked about in front of the Lincoln Memorial. He is fighting to preserve OUR freedoms and our founding principles!
All Lakin wants and all the American people want is a fair trial and true justice. We know that if that were to happen, Mr. Obama would be exposed as the fraud he truly is and he would be forced to resign. Then we could begin to take back our country and repair the damage. Oh, how liberating that would be! Lt. Col. Lakin embodies the best that America has to offer. He deserves an answer from Mr. Obama now, or in the alternative a fair and just trial proceeding that would simply expose the truth for the world to see.
Remember that Lt. Col. Lakin has as a constitutional obligation to determine if the commander-in-chief is legitimate because he is required under his oath to only obey lawful orders. “Obama” likewise, has a constitutional obligation to ensure the American people that he is qualified to be POTUS under the Constitution.
Getting back to that intentional omission at the “Restoring Honor” rally. Glenn Beck who headlined and sponsored the event, and yourself are employed by FOX News. FOX has essentially muzzled its staff on radio and TV. None of the commentators, hosts and pundits are allowed to talk about the Obama eligibility issue and the Lakin court-martial is off limits for obvious reasons. In fact, the only time FOX or virtually 99% of any other media outlet has even broached the subject is for the purpose of spewing propaganda, misleading the public, or ridiculing and demeaning the Lt. Col. himself. When has FOX ever had Orly Taitz, Mario Apuzzo, Cmdr. Kerchner, or Lakin’s defense team on to give their side of the story? Fair and Balanced…You Decide. What a joke! What a disgrace! These efforts to report are simply token gestures to keep the loyal and trusting audience off balance about the real truth. It doesn’t get more reprehensible than that.
We all know that the mainstream media sold out the American people during the 2008 campaign. If the mainstream media and the cable outlets had done their job we would not be in this situation today. Americans would never knowingly elect a Communist/Marxist, anti-Christian, bigot, who they had no proof of as to where he was born and or his actual citizenship. Are you kidding? Little did we realize that FOX was in on it too; and the FOX reporters, hosts and pundits who know full well the truth now and yet continue to mislead the public or simply ignore the story altogether, should be deeply ashamed. It’s disgusting and a blatant betrayal of the public’s trust.
It is very unseemly watching a cable news network that touts itself as being fair and balanced, purposely misrepresenting, distorting and even lying about the greatest crime ever perpetrated against the American people, i.e., the fraudulent election of Barack Hussein Obama to be POTUS and the subsequent usurpation of that office. The fact that FOX continues to prop Obama up, striving to give him some measure of respect and credibility, while ignoring the fact that he is constitutionally ineligible and guilty of a plethora of ongoing subversive anti-American activities is unconscionable. Little by little though, the American people are catching on. Thank goodness for the internet.
It’s obvious that Fox has told its on-air employees on radio and TV that they cannot talk about the eligibility issue unless it is to demean or marginalize those who question Obama’s eligibility. That’s why talk show hosts have either chosen to ignore the issue (Hannity), ridicule those who dare bring it up (Beck) or just outright lie and misrepresent the truth (O’Reilly and Kelly). There is something truly repugnant watching highly paid commentators, hosts and pundits who value their job, their paycheck and their book deals, more than their country and their fellow citizens.
Sarah, the “lamestream” media as you like to call it and Fox and its liberal cable partners are doing a great disservice to the American people. I would characterize their actions as nothing less than patently dishonest and perhaps treasonous. Their conspiracy of silence and their refusal to be truthful with the American people is divisive, destructive and un-American. Americans who follow this crisis and who know the facts and the truth knew full well that Beck, you, and others would not be allowed to touch the eligibility issue or even breathe Lt. Col. Lakin’s name at the “Restoring Honor” rally. What a tragedy. What have we become?
When we the people take back our country we will not forget those who looked the other way, feigned ignorance, failed to do their due diligence, or worse yet, intentionally misrepresented, ridiculed and defrauded the American people. We will remember especially, those who knew the truth, but hid it, opting instead to sell their soul to the almighty dollar.
During your speech at the Lincoln Memorial, you said that, “Here today, at the crossroads of our history, may this day be the change point.” You said “Look around you. You’re not alone.”
Well Sarah, Lt. Col Lakin feels like he is alone. He has been abandoned by our representatives in Congress and betrayed by Obama and the military he has served with integrity and honor. He is being denied due process at every turn and the media will not report the story to the American people. No leader will step to the microphone to challenge Obama as to why he is allowing this injustice to happen. We cannot allow Lt. Col Lakin to be abandoned and sold out. Given the facts, patriotic Americans will rally to his cause. But we need help getting the word out! Sarah Palin do not abandon this great patriot! Go and visit him and speak out on his behalf!
Quite frankly, patriotic Americans are also feeling very much alone today. We too have been abandoned and betrayed by our government, our courts, our so-called elected “representatives” and the fourth estate. Fortunately we are taking back our country, but it is slow and difficult. The enemy from within is tenacious.
We need a leader who will speak the truth and fight without equivocation against the lawlessness and tyranny that is steadily descending upon us.
Lt. Col. Lakin and all Americans deserve better. Obama needs to level with the American people NOW. If Lt.Col. Lakin can produce all of his information and the President of the United States cannot then there is obviously something wrong.
Finally, I can’t help but think what you would have done if your son Track had questioned the authority of the president and refused to deploy. Given your name, prestige and your political cache what would you say?…and what would you do, knowing that your son was being denied his constitutional right to present a defense; being denied discovery and the right to call his own witnesses? Because believe it or not Sarah, that is precisely what is happening to Lt. Col. Lakin now. This is a disgrace and it is un-American.
Sarah, we need a leader now! You have the ability to rally millions to the aide of Lt. Col. Lakin. You can help spread his story far and wide. The media will not report this story and Americans need to know what is going on. They need to know the truth!
Tear up your contract with Fox! Liberate yourself! Be principled and fearless. Stand with the American people who love freedom and liberty and stand up for Lt. Col. Lakin and the Constitution!
Sarah, you said, “We must restore America and restore her honor.” Let’s do it then…now! Sarah, you can lead the way and help end this national nightmare. America needs a leader with the moral courage to demand answers of our government and Mr. Obama now, before it is too late. Are you with us Sarah?

It's apparent that we're not supporting Lt. Col. Terry Lakin enough, lets contact FOX News, our Senators, Democrats and Americans; we need to support Mr. Lakin, because at this point he's the only one to stand up for his country on this issue with Obama. When I send emails to Fox News, it says, "Sorry, Mailbox is Full," no matter to whom it is addressed. I guess Fox cannot afford a minimum-wage lackey to empty it? Their "We Report You Decide" BS .. and Beck's "Question with Boldness" is sickening. We can talk here until we're blue in the face, but Lt. Col. I think you missed the point of the rally to some degree. If they would have mentioned Lt. Col. Lakin it would have tipped into the political which is not what the rally was about. Please don't get me wrong. I do believe that short shrift has been given Lt. Col. Lakin and the recent item I read about the judge, in essence, telling him to shut up, sit down and take his punishment was the most politcally driven thing I've seen in a while. I don't think they wanted to open that can of worms and in the tribute she said ALL are to be honored and I think that Lakin was inclusive in that. I might add that I personally feel that Lakin should win and we should as Americans be able to see with our own eyes all of Mr. Obama's medical, dental, school and birth records and not just the ones he chooses to show us. If he has nothing to hide then why hide all his records?
All of the names being considered for president in 2012 are not qualified if they will not support and defend constitution preelection. General Vallaley is best example of being qualified.

A very well written and interesting article on the TEA party and the shirking of duty by FOX and other Cable news about Obama's eligibility. I can not understand why news reporters shy away from the gravely important Constitutional issue of eligibilty? Even Justice Thomas said "we are avoiding that issue". I am not an Obama supporter but I think our governmen's lawst and following the Constitution is more important than anything else before us now. Just recently the Senate passed a House approved bill requiring TV stations to keep commercials at the same volume level as the programs
they are broadcasting. What trivia our legislators are working on and not dealing with the really important ones. Why can't the people demand that POTUS show his original BC?
Justice Thomas said, "We are being held hostage on this issue." By that, he meant that this very political SCOTUS is refusing to take the case on its merits. He took the case in for review but was voted down by his liberal counterparts.
Your timing could not be worse for this 'letter'. This is not an election issue. Please wait until 11/3 to step up the rhetoric. Perhaps someone will hear you then, but not before I guarantee. Why address it to Palin? Doesn't she have enough things to deal with? Why not address it to the Democrat National Committee when they see Obama's ratings slip into the 30's? Use some sense.

Palin did in fact have a very successful book signing tour! As for her half term as Governor of Alaska what she did was nothing short of genius! By her resigning she assured that her administration & it's policies would continue thru her Lieutenant Governor( who is a Republican & who is easily winning reelection) who succeeded her in the Governors Mansion. Additionally it relieved not only her but the state of Alaska relief from all the bogus law suits which were not only very costly to her but to the state as well. Additionally it afforded her the time to write her book & go on a book signing tour which increased her popularity greatly as well as her personnal wealth which freed her up to Campaign for Conservatives as well as doing fund raisings & endorsements of & for Conservative candidates.

Why would you think that Palin does not endorse LTC.Lakin! Let me remind you that timing is everything! The Mid term Elections are a priority for Palin right now. Once the new Congress is seated come January 2011 it is a whole new ball game in Washington. Look for not only Palin but in fact a ground swell of support for LTC. Lakin to emerge in Washington. Let me remind you
that if Obama is found to be ineligible to serve as President then he will in fact face far more serious charges that LTC. Lakin is facing. In time LTC. Lakin will be exonerated of these charges.

Sarah had her chance to show the people of the U.S. what she was made of and it looks like she did. After that show of no backbone does she really think that anyone with character would vote for her? Great article with fantastic questions. Although, and I will probably get crucified for this, it is plain to see that those "Republicans" who claim to be conservative, are just as guilty of pushing the elitists agenda.
The media is owned by the elites and so are BOTH PARTIES or they wouldn't be on stage to begin with. The elites pull their "puppet strings" as well. Just not so much in an obvious way.
I am sorry, but that is my "gut" feeling. I read somewhere where Sarah Palin said that Henry Kissinger was her mentor. (wish I could remember where). Henry Kissinger also said that Obama was groomed to bring in the New World Order, did he not? Bush called for a New World Order as did his dad and other presidents before him even.
A one world government is spoken of in the Bible. I believe it is just a ruse and stall tactics by the Republicans to fulfill the ultimate agenda of the NWO and woe to anyone who gets in their way. I think that both parties have the same agenda…they just differ in opinions on how to get there.
I have studied too many different subjects in this to come up with any other answer. You can call it conspiracy, but it all makes sense to me. Like pieces of a puzzle. You have to fit the pieces together to look at the big picture. Just more of the same propaganda.
My prayers are with Lt. Col Lakin. I believe he is being made an example of. This is what will happen if you get in the way of the agenda. MAYBE, someone will eventually answer to through America off guard again because we are getting too close to the "real" truth. But then it will be more of the same closeted propaganda until we expose that too.

This issue will end up eventually in the US Supreme court. So far they have refused to hear any of the others that have gotten to their door step. They should have, but did not address this issue long ago. Congress is also wrong with not demanding this, but we all know why. Whose job is it to make certain the constitution is upheld? Congress and the Court, both so far have not done their job. Lakin will get his day(s) in court and we will know the details. However to pull Palin into this is a huge mistake, this would be like blaming any of us for not doing something, she is just a citizen currently. Certainly her voice has impact, but so far more powerful people have questioned this subject only to be turned away. Palin speaking out would have only made this even fodder for the left. They would have labeled the entire event then as a birther gathering and made all of those attending a joke.

Lt. Col Terry Lakin is a hero and should have been recognized at the Restore Honor rally. He deserves our support for doing what too few are willing to do. Because of a "few good men," just maybe we'll be able to save America. November's elections will determine whether the U.S. stands or falls. Under the Democrats, our freedoms that soldiers like Lt. Col. Lakin have ensured – are now being severely curtailed. Their accountability is to themselves, the media who pimps for them and to the special interests and lobbyists they kneel before. Your comments would be valid if the 8/28 event was a political event, which, while it had political implications, it was not. Col. Lakin needs and deserves our support, but this criticism just doesn't apply in this case.

The Rinos fail to mention Col. Lakin, due to the fact that they are not true supporter. I see many of these Rinos being mentioned as the Republican Presidential candidate for 2012, and I will not support any one of them. They are not true Conservative Republicans, and they have demonstrated this throughout all their activities. If any of these Rinos are ran as a candidate for President, I will be voting for a third party, and the Republicans can blame themselves for being so lazy and ignorant. I will not choose the lesser of two evils; I leave that to the Democrats. Just as I believe by Obama not producing his birth certificate he is hiding something, I have to use the same reasoning to think that something is up at FOX. I do believe this is a hands-off issue. Excellent letter. The stand that Lt. Col. Lakin is making is precisely the sort of stand that will make a breakthrough in this standoff, between the Powers That Be and the American people. Because he has put his life, liberty and sacred honor on the line, clearly with nothing to gain from his sacrifice but clarity: the clarity that he needs – that any militarily serving person needs – to know that he and they are following legal orders.
It is a judicial and moral travesty that he cannot have his legitimate day in court, with a right to disclosure; that this issue cannot have its legitimate day in court. And since The People are not being allowed a redress of their grievance through the court system, that system no longer has jurisdiction over this matter. So it's back to The People to deal with.
It is clear that Barack Hussein Obama is hiding something about his background. (And so are his confederates in the crime.) The American people have a right to have him prove his eligibility, or not. (And this business about trying to sell The People a Certification of his Live Birth, rather than the real, original document, is an insult. (Or the States. Where are YOU, then, in all this, State legislatures? Why have YOU not been acting in this matter? You have, so far, failed to rise to the constitutional occasion.)
What is asked for, then, is for all good men and women to come to the aid of their country – including all those service men and women who swore an oath of allegiance to the Constitution – in a March on Washington, in the name of Lt. Col. Terry Lakin (if he consents), and take our country back from the usurpers. An Administrator to be appointed by The People to depose the person illegally sitting in the office of the President (no impeachment proceeding needed here, since he has failed to prove his eligibility to hold the office in the first place), dissolve Congress, clean the Obama administration of all of his appointments, rescind any laws he signed into being, and call elections for a time certain.
And let the chips fall where they may. And swear, never to let this sort of travesty ever happen again – a travesty that soils the worthy memory of the Founding Fathers of this blessed country; who did their best to bequeath to their posterity government of, by and for the people – NOT special interests.

There is also talk of Bobby Jindal being placed on the ballot for 2012. He is also ineligible to run. Obama is setting the precident for future presidents. This cannot be allowed to continue or the precident will be set that anyone who lives in the US will be eligible. This is a very dangerous situation and the Constitution will become null and void if he is not removed.
Lakin deserves a promotion for making his stand, but the time to address the issue fully should come AFTER November 2nd. By then there will be people in the halls of power who will back him to the full. In the meantime, I would advise the good Lieutenant Colonel to show some true American grit and hang in there just a little while longer. I know that from where he stands, help can't come soon enough… but HELP IS ON THE WAY!!!
As much as I agree that the issue has become "political", it is also a moral and legal issue, and it was those things before it became "political". Yes, the opposition throws around such concepts as glibly and thoughtlessly as they throw "racism" at anything they don't like. And yes, such irrelevant labels do make rational discourse more difficult. However, to shy away from any issue that the Left has labeled off-limits, with their shrill gibberish, means essentially leaving the field to the anarchists. It would only hasten America's slide toward becoming a North American version of contemporary Greece.
Evidently the Supreme Court is going to be forced to confront Obama on many unconstitutional issues. If it is proven that he is not legally our president, etc. this man could come out of this
with honors. Sarah Palen is a good speaker, woman, but I cannot see her as presidential

My point was that over the years I have been observing the results of this curtain in the derailment of all outspoken opponents, i.e., Austin Flett, Senator Joseph McCarthy, Captain Eugene Guild, the young man who refused tg wear the blue armband of the UN on his uniform, or any of a dozen others who thought they could buck the 'powers that be,' and with all their courage they have fallen by the wayside, and except for the immediate families, friends, descendants, are gone and forgotten. Just look at the blacklisting of our founders, their beliefs and the substitution of "democracy" for "republic", the disappearance of the methods of electing Senators, the substitution of the Federal Reserve for the House of Representatives in controlling our money–all these sign posts along the way.

Additionally it being directed only at Sarah Palin & not all Conservative leaders is a mistake!Though this was a excellently written open letter to Sarah Palin in my opinion i do not agree with it's timing & only being directed at Sarah Palin only. This open letter should have been directed to all Conservative leaders for a maximum effect after the new congress is seated in January 2011. Therefore you are dealing from a position of power & not weakness in order to gain support for LTC. Lakin.

They must be held accountable, especially if it is proven that Obama is inelligible. If they aren't, then we will be susceptible to the same people scamming us again. I cannot trust Palin, because she and McCain were both in a position to "out" Obama during the 2008 election, but chose to stay silent on the issue. Then she supported McCain during his senate race. If she hadn't endorsed McCain and Beck hadn't sliced and diced his opponent, would McCain still be in the senate? I doubt it. Palin and Beck are both in a position to manipulate the electorate and I cannot trust their motives, especially since they haven't shown any support for Lakin.
Edin, I couldn't agree more with you. Obama is the villian and embarrassment to him I agree is a POOR excuse when someone like LTC Lakin has stood up for America and We the People. He has stood forth right for the oath he took. Obama took the same oath…how true to the United States of America and our Constitution does he stand. Everyone that feels the same as we do for LTC Lakin should make phone calls to his CO and voice their opinion. I did and I always write that he should be released and that Obama should be the one on trial.

Did anyone post this on her facebook page? I have serious doubts about anyone who has been in office before, including Sarah Palin. We need to replace anyone who has ever served and not fall for the deception again. I like Sarah, but am very afraid to put trust and faith into her, because she has been in the political machine for some time now. There is little reason to believe she will be any different than the people already in office, other than the word of Sarah and Glenn Beck. I also like Glenn, but realize he is not always on the up and up. I understand this may be because of pressure from tptb, but I've also heard him condemn other patriots, which is a no no. Believe what you may, but realize Palin and Beck are both celebrities and can influence people in the wrong direction if they are not as good as they look.

Why doesn't someone have the guts to bring it to light?
I watched the Restoring Honor rally and was very moved at the quality of the whole event. But you are correct in the fact that Lt. Col Lakin should have been honored.I told my husband that I would be very upset if he were not mentioned and I am. He is not alone in his sentiments. I have sent emails to Herman Cain,Congressmen, Governors and a couple of other people that I thought should have been able to do something about this terrible travesty in the U.S. and got the brush off in every instance.It amazes my brain that we went through an election 2 years ago and Everybody made John McCain,who I was not happy with as a candidate either, show proof of his citizenship, but NO ONE in Either Party including the then President or Vice President, stood up for the Constitution. But these same people now want to say that we need to get back to our Founding Fathers Principles and the Constitution. Even Glen Beck does'nt think it important. What kind of sense does any of it make???? Obama is just sitting back laughing at the country because when his election was bought and paid for by the media and no one bothered to question him ,that one act pretty much negated our Founding Fathers Constitution,and Obama, whatever he is,is no dummy.I say my prayers for this country every day that SOMEONE will finally have the Backbone to stand up and DO something. My prayers go out to Lt. Col. Lakin and I only wish that a whole bunch more military personnel would stand beside him, because there is more power in numbers. Both my husband and myself were in the military ,so I know what he could be giving up and he IS NOT wrong in doing what he is doing.
We are all owed the TRUTH… News is supposed to be factual, not an entertainment talkshow pretending to be the news, by only giving the shows owners political view. Is the owner of said shows under a threat or is it just politically biased by owner? Journalists should be about news, and collecting and verifying facts,
They're are plenty who are asking questions, demanding answers by bringing court cases challenging these partial or misleading answers that are proposed to be facts. This is one of the biggest reasons newspaper are losing out to internet Try a site like World News Daily, and other web alternatives.
