Pam Geller, founder of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, blogger, and news commentator, came under attack earlier this week when an extremist belonging to ISIS made threats against her on Twitter.
A message was posted on Twitter by an individual known by the Federal Bureau of Investigations and other foreign and domestic law agencies to have ties to ISIS. The tweet gave out her home address and ended the tweet with the hashtag #GoForth. The same individual, identified as Junaid Hussain, reportedly knew about beforehand or helped to organize the shooting that took place in Garland, Texas, in May. A “draw Muhammad” art exhibit and contest was being held by Geller. Her organization, AFDI, helped to promote and sponsor the exhibit.
Geller has been on a hit list, a target of ISIS. The terrorist organization has called for her beheading.
Understandably, after the fact was revealed by ISIS that her name was on a hit list, as well as her address being tweeted, she has amped up security surrounding herself.
When asked if she will continue doing what she has been doing, she stated on the 1010 WINS radio show that ”I am a free person and I am fighting for freedom. The last thing I am going to do is go into hiding.”

In fact, Geller insists that despite the fact that she has a target on her head, she will not be dissuaded from doing what she is passionate about and what she feels is necessary. She will not quit organizing events. She will not quit speaking out against terrorists.
The AFDI founder has been especially active in her line of work since 9/11.
