Two years ago, Cap and Trade, known as Cap n Tax, was killed when the Waxman – Markey bill didn’t pass the House.
Now there is a surreptitious movement underway to pass a Carbon Tax. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a supposedly conservative group, got egg on its face when it hosted a meeting that was designed to push for a carbon tax in the lame-duck session this year.
The effort has been squelched by House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). They said no way and no.

The reason you see this crap being supported by “supposedly” a conservative “think tank” is because it is NOT truly conservative to begin with. There are many many organizations and think tanks pretending to be conservative but in reality they are nothing short of being covert operators for globalist policies. Being a globalist INCLUDES conservatives as well as liberals. Mitt Romney is one example, as well as practically ALL RINOs. In considering any think tank or organization fro that matter, one must be aware that all such groups have to have financing in some way. Usually they are financed by some large corporation or business. In knowing this one must realize that businesses are NOT subsidizing anything that is NOT going to benefit them. They have an agenda like everyone else. Currently large businesses and corporations are very much into globalism, especially concerning world trade and monetary matters. If it is in their interests to support whatever legislation, regardless how bad it is, they will do so if it profits them, and this will always be at your expense. Political PACs, think tank groups and political organizations are used “specifically” to advance their causes. This leaves extremely few orgs that is truly conservative which is actually for the common American. Always check out such groups before you judge their credibility.
Just to show YOU folks what you are dealing with concerning this think tank, I’ve taken a small amount of time to dig this dirt up on them. All you have to do is start Googling to find out the true details of any org or business.

One problem with the above quote is, the uSA is NOT a Capitalist system of economics and it is NOT supposed to be a Democracy as it is defined in the quote.

Current president, Author Brooks is actually a liberal if you read his biography. He is also a Zionist and globalist.
The president before Brooks was Christopher DeMuth.

He is a board member of the State Farm Insurance Companies, and the Donors Capital Fund; chairman of two family businesses; and a grant adviser to the Searle Freedom Trust and the Smith Richardson Foundation, both of which contribute to AEI.
All the above is just a tiny bit of what constitutes AEI, what you believe is a conservative org. If YOU people would do your homework instead of taking people at face value you would see through their charades…. But you don’t and they conspire to make the common American’s life hell!
