Outraged Herman Cain Cancels MSNBC Interview After ‘Race Card’ Charge

Herman Cain told BreitbartTV that he decided to cancel his interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews in protest to his charge to the RNC that Romney was playing the “race card” in his campaign. Cain encouraged other Republican guests to do the same.

  1. I suggest we ALL boycott MSNBC and their affiliats.

    • I second that.

    • Amen! In fact I boycott them all including Fox news. I watch zero TV news or what passes for news which is actually editorializing most of the time disguised as objective news reporting. I don’t turn on my TV except to watch a sporting event, the latest weather report or a DVD movie and it’s been that way for the past 10 years. Do I miss it? Not in the least. In fact I even shy away from TV monitors found in business establishments and airport terminals as if people need them on or they can’t breath. I get all the news I need from the Internet and the Radio.

I wish all presidential debates were confined to the radio because that would require people to listen to what’s being said and not be distracted by the powerful visual medium. It’s amazing how different the voting goes for the winner of a debate when that is done. Quite often radio listeners and TV viewers vote entirely opposite. That proved true for the very first presidential debate on TV dating all the way back to 1960 between Nixon and Kennedy (JFK). Nixon had just come out of the hospital having recovered from a bout with pneumonia and looked terrible on the B&W screen where makeup made little if any difference. Perspiration could be seen on his upper lip in close ups. There were no interruptions for commercial breaks when someone could have come in and dabbed him dry. Kennedy on the other hand looked strong and vibrant throughout the debate. Nevertheless, when the polling data was collected, radio listeners voted for Nixon as winner of the debate while TV viewers voted for Kennedy. Needless to say ever since then every presidential candidate has had an entourage of image makers to assist them.

      • I am glad that someone else gets their info from the internet. I have been ridiculed and insulted for using the internet to gain information and research. I remember that debate and that is true. It seemed that how you looked made the difference, when it shouldn’t have any affect at all. their upbringings were so diferent also. that is interesting, now, that Romney is ostracized becvause he is a Mormon and I don’t remember any derisive comments about Nixon being a Quaker and Kennedy being Catholic. It shows the difference in the people and hoqw divisive we have become.

        • Actually, there was quite an uproar over Kennedy being Catholic. In fact, on September 12, 1960, he said, “I am not the Catholic candidate for President. I am the Democratic Party candidate for President who also happens to be a Catholic. I do not speak for my Church on public matters – and the Church does not speak for me.” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy)

          • There were those who were concerened about his being catholic but Nixon, his opponent ,was advised to stay away from that subject. Too bad, smeone hasn’t advised Obam to do the same with Romney. Actually, Oba doesn’t have much room to criticize Romney for being a Mormon since he is a muslim. He has stated so publicly on more than one occasion and has attacked the bible and Jesus Christ.

    • Most everyone already has. I think Chris Matthews has about 10 viewers now….and they may be immediate family.

  2. They still haven’t figured out why they are at the bottom of the ratings.

  3. Good for you, Herman Cain, for standing up for right. Wonder what the left’s battleground would have been if you had been the candidate and they couldn’t use the race card?

    • The left wouldn’t be stopped from using the race card: They could have used words like Oreo or Uncle Tom, both terms which are racist, but would have implied that Mr. Cain was a tool of the whites rather than a man of integrity.

      • Rarely do I see people respond with positive answers. It always seems like someone wants to use this as a place to prove to the world that they are a fool rather than let the world wonder if they are a fool!!I I agree with what ya’ll have said and Herman Cain is the type of man this nation needs more of!!

    • Just an interesting analogy. When Herman Cain was a candidate for president, Tavis Smiley and a Professor West state on tv that Cain was not an “authentic black” (whatever that is) because he was a republican. What they forgot was that one of the most famous black people was a conservative republican, and that was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Do they believe the same about him?

  4. Great Job Herman Cain!

  5. great hearing this

  6. I am so sick and tired of all of this. All of this hatred must end. This country is falling apart because of these hateful people. It’s like we’re all in second grade with the name calling. I make no mistake this is being deliberately done by bho. I guess now I’m a racist because I will not sink to the disgusting level of the lefties. These people live in the dirt I refuse to. Then I hear the precious Independents are undecided, they should just register as Democrats and be done with it. I thought they didn’t like this type of thing. So where are they? We all know it is going to get worse and I truly don’t know how many more lies I can take.

    • Sewveral forums dealing with ticklish topics are that way. People insult, call you foul names, accuse you of foul actions, question your intelligence, ridicule your URL (oh yes), accuse you of immoral acts. All because you dfidagree with them. One forum, which had a majority of rude, insulting people told me to leave, accused me of immoral acts with animals. As you guessed, this was a forum about the gay community. I am 79 years old, was married for 44 years and had four children. But, because I didn’t agree with their insulting, foul- mouthed hateful comments, that is what I got. Most of the time, they knew nothing about what they were ridiculing. that kind of behavior is haqt brings these forums down to a new low level. I reported everyh one of them and they asked me why. I felt it was pretty obvious. That’s when i found out when you report some one as inappropriate, they are advised about it.

  7. Chris Matthews is very sick man,i overheard a person say he was a closet racist, and wanted a conservative hurt.

    • I LOVE this man!!!…I hope he gets a good job in the Romney administration! There’s nothing like a man who tells the truth. I love his t-shirt idea about the ABCs.
And to russell…I heard Chrissy has bladder control problems…can you say Depends?
