This video documents federal agents coming to the home of anti-Obama activist Rudy Davis aka LoneStar1776. There seems to be an aggressive campaign by the Secret Service to learn personal information about political critics of Barack Obama. Listen carefully to the personal questions these agents ask.
If I was advising him, I would recommend not answering these questions. If they come to your home, I recommend not answering. Refer them to a lawyer.
In a country which guarantees our free speech, it is chilling to see the US Government sending armed agents to scope out political activists. If Rudy was a leftist, Obama himself would be denouncing this visit. In Obama’s America, anyone can hear a knock on the door if you are vocal in your legitimate political disputes with Obama and his minions. I am proud that Rudy Davis held his ground, but he has no legal requirement to answer.

I, too, would not answer their questions without my lawyer present! Then I would ask them to get off my property!
They do not need a warrant to ask questions, however, you do not have to answer their questions, either. They are supposed to inform you of your rights before asking any questions, and you have a right to an attorney before they ask any questions. I would have demanded they show ID, and refused to show my ID. They have no legal authority to demand that I show ID. I would not have answered any of their questions, either.

Now couple this with the racist Holder speaking to a black only group of church leadership and with out saying who he was talking about claimed their voting rights were at risk from hostile organizations, coming from a many who has committed the high crime of treason and violated the rule of law to obstruct justice.

Hmmmm……..Although I am a patriotic veteran….and know that the secret service has the responsibility to protect the president, this seems like intimidation to an extreme degree. There are MILLIONS who share this citizen’s view. This president has provided the least amount of personal information of any president.,
The government will say that you should suffer this type of interrogation if you have nothing to hide…….but I find them very hard to trust…..it pains me to recommend that one says nothing and gets legal representation.
I too am a patriotic American citizen and a veteran. I would never advocate harming anyone illegally.
I have a “No Soliciting” sign posted beside my front door. That includes soliciting sales or soliciting information. I would simply point to the sign and close the door, after saying, “You are trespassing.” If they did not leave immediately, I would call our sheriff’s constable to report trespassers on my property. They would be here within 2-3 minutes to protect me and my property.
If you can get a LEO to your home in 2-3 minutes to protect you from trespassers good for you. It sure wont happen that quick in my neighborhood plus its been decided in court that a Law ENFORCENENT Officer has no responsibilty to protect anyone. Just sayin.
Rudy Davis will now be automatically audited by the IRS for his tax returns for the rest of his life. There should be an annual penalty letter in his mailbox every year arriving around April 1st of each calledar year. How do I know this? Try personal experience!

I salute this gentlemen. The secret service really has a set of balls for pulling off a stunt like this. I would have been happier if he had refused to speak to them, but he did what he felt was right in his heart and in God’s eyes. The happiest day of my life will be when they put this SOB behind bars. He did not have to speak to them. He was, however, brave enough to risk answering their questions and to risk future penalties (further harassment, from IRS or whoever) so that the rest of our nation could see what has happened to our freedoms.
This action on the part of the Secret Service is despicable. It is contrary to American Law and it is for the purpose of instilling fear, fear to oppose Obama, fear to do anything to stop this conniving cabal in the WH.

American Patriot, I agree with you 100%, the only problem is that there is no one to impeach him, because we have a “do-nothing” Congress. The House has to initiate the impeachment process and then the Senate has to hold the actual trial and since the Senate is controlled by the DemocRATS, they will never put him on trial. With AG Eric Holder preventing States from removing illegal’s from their voter’s rolls, coupled with the company in Spain that will bout half of America’s votes electronically and as such those votes can not be audited there is a darn good chance that Obama will be able to steal another four years. If you stop to think about it, he would have to have been out of his mind to turn off the Catholic’s the way that he did since no president was ever elected without the catholic vote. He has also turned off many jews based on his treatment of Israel yet he did so without concern about loosing their votes, why would anyone normal have done that? The only reason that someone would do things like that is if he knew that he did not needy to win the Catholic or Jewish vote since he controlled the voting machinery. If Sheriff Joe and his Posse can not come up with irrefutable proof or if the Judge in Florida does not demand that Obama provide original documents of his eligibility, America will be transformed as Obama said it would and America will no longer be what it once was.

This video shakes my core and shook most of my emotions. Some of us will be taken down, but we must demand the TRUTH. They can’t arrest all of us because somebody has to pay taxes and it would get real ugly. I did not want this, but Mitt Romney is our only route out of this. Okay, okay. Floyd – While witnessing the 20 minute video ‘did’ bring up some angst at having two officers come out to talk to and write down information on this gentleman – it was neither an interrogation, nor an ‘outrage’ so, I’d like to see less ‘sensational’ titles to be used on this web site. That’s number one.
Number two – I thank GOD for this couple’s straight-forward and honest response to these officers – as they were only ‘doing their job’ – but, other honest citizens will obviously incur what they call a ‘chilling effect’ – because many folks just do not have the intestinal fortitude to be talked to like that for 20 minutes, so – my prayer is that rather than get ‘scared’ – other patriots will stand alongside this Mr. Rudy Davis – and in honesty – stand up for the Truth and their Country.
I know this type of ‘compassionate grilling’ very well, myself – and I believe it happened SOLELY because I am a Christian, so I will pray and empathize (intercede) in my prayers on this couple’s behalf.
Briefly – my story is that I became a Christian on August 7th, 1990 (in my own home in Cleveland Heights, Ohio) after being informed about ‘man’s sin nature’ by an old boyfriend of mine. We eventually got married – and were living a very quiet and happy life. Then, my young child had an accident (chasing the dog, he jumped over a trash bag and cut his heel). As I believe any mother would – I quickly bandaged up his heel and wisked ourselves to the closest hospital. I was very thankful that that day ended well and that my son was okay.
Yet – several weeks later (on a Sunday morning, around 10am) we received a knock at the door and a gentleman in casual clothes told me that he had ‘the authority’ to take my 3 year old son from me if I didn’t welcome him in and allow him to talk to my child. As a 32 year old American who was not used to this kind of intrusion – I began to speak JUST LIKE the lady in this video, in like a ‘righteous indignation’ – but, my husband (just like this Rudy, fellow) calmed my anxiety and eventually this guy from some social services place – came in and ‘talked and wrote’ about our little family of three.
I write this to advise EVERYONE that our ‘investigator’ told me specifically that we were ‘chosen’ to receive a visit simply BECAUSE we were Christians. (I was AMAZED, as I’d only been one for a few months – and had only heard about TOLERANCE (rather than INTOLERANCE towards Christians) towards any ‘faith’.
Eventually, my young son answered all the questions ‘correct enough’ for the interviewer – and he said that my son could go back to his play. As his guy stood up to go – I asked him ‘how is it that being a Christian, as opposed to a Muslim or a Buddhist…’, I remember saying, ‘…would be ‘chosen’ to be interviewed and have their faith questioned, to perhaps the state taking away their only child?’
His remark was two-fold and I’ll remember it forever. He said: “Because Christians are told to ‘spare the rod, and spoil the child’ and you two don’t have to worry though – because your little son disrespects you SO MUCH that it’s certain to me, that he’s not being harmed by either of you.”
Talk about a subtle ‘kick in the gut’, right? I mean, my son wasn’t taken from us because he ‘disrespected us’ very clearly. My mind whirled at the consequences and the suggestions and ramifications THAT statement would bring about in everyone’s future…
Now – almost 23 years later – my son is an adult. BUT, we were informed that both my and my husband’s names would appear ‘forever’ on documents in Columbus, Ohio (the state capital) as ‘potential child abusers’. How awful is that? My only regret was not agreeing with Focus on the Family when I called them, for they told me that I ‘sounded like a level-headed ACTIVIST’ to stand and speak out about family issues in the United States of America…’ But, even the ‘word’ activist – instilled fear in me at that time, so I was just thankful it ‘wasn’t worse’ and my husband, my son and I remained silent.
I have said ALL THAT – in order to say to each individual who reads this post to gently and firmly (IN CHRISTIAN LOVE) stand up and speak up – because we have precious little freedom left even ‘globally’, now – because those honest law-abiding men and woman who have been questioned on a myriad of ‘lost freedoms’ (like reprimanding their children when they misbehave, in my case) have been silent for TOO LONG and have allowed a true travesty of justice to erode our nations.
Check out the word ‘justice’. Do you see that without standing up, one ‘agrees’ with the system and it brings about that ‘chilling effect’ I alluded to earlier? Without us standing up IN LOVE and TRUTH -we see the word justice, chill us all – for it becomes JUST ICE.
Let’s keep speaking up and kneeling in prayer to our Creator God, thanking Him for His forgiveness of our sins – and His governmental authority – which is supreme, indeed.

I have to agree with Mr. Brown that Rudy didn’t have to allow this, a stark reminder of what we don’t know that hurts us. But the video did wind up serving for the greater good as well.
I also have to agree with you Cindy, saying, “I believe it happened SOLELY because I am a Christian”.
We know this too well now as from the start and early on in his (usurped) presidency, April 7, 2009 was leaked that “Unclassified Assessment” report from Homeland Security given to ‘federal, state, local and tribal counterterrorism and law enforcement officials so that they may respond to ‘terrorist attacks”. That report was stricken from searches in its infancy.
Grossly anti-rightwing, identifying in no uncertain terms, the associating of “rightwing terrorist” who’s “anti[BIG]government conspiracy theories and “end times” prophesies could motivate extremist individuals” to act. And calling out “violent Christian Identity organizations and extremist members of the militia movement.”
Heaven forbid we should abide by that Christian (ask me) trusted document, The Declaration of Independence which declares:

When someone comes through “a long train” of anti-Christian instances and intrusively knocking at your door, we have no “guards”. Order, ORDER!
I wouldnt have answered any of their questions. They have not shown any reason for questioning him and I would have referred him to my attorney as well. I would not let these men even TRY to intimidate me and not even bothered to chat with them, because they were obviously trying to twist his response.
A very smart move by Rudy handled it better than the SS was trained to do. This is just an example of what is to come if obuma gets reelected and it reminds me of Hitlerism and The Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich. Several months ago I came home to a note on the door that the Secret Service had been by my house and wanted to talk with me. They left a phone number and I called it and spoke with an agent. He stated that they had heard that I had made statements to the effect of threatening the president. I told them under no circumstances did I ever say anything like that but that it was no secret that I am a conservative Tea Party Republican and that I don’t agree with anything that this president does. They ask me to come downtown, that they wanted to talk with me for about 10 minutes and I at first said yes. When I got off the phone, I realized that if they wanted to when I came down, they could literally incarcerated me for a period of 72 hours without charging me with anything. So I called them back and told them I wasn’t coming, if they wanted to talk with me anymore they could come to my house again. They were hesitant but said they would come the following day and wanted to know if it was alright to bring three agents-I said fine, the more the merrier! Came the next day, no one showed up and I haven’t heard from them since. Since then, I have realized that if they come to your door it is best to not answer any questions and tell them if they want to talk with you, then your attorney will have to be present and you will want to know if they are charging you with a crime. If not, you don’t have to talk with them at all! So in this case, Rudy Davis didn’t have to come out and he didn’t have to answer their questions, they don’t really care whether you are cooperative or not, those questions are attempting to be used against you and if you answer the wrong way-they will arrest you. So it is best to say NOTHING except contact my lawyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember, they can’t come in your house without a search warrant and you don’t have to answer any questions, but ask them if they are charging you with a crime. If they say no-talk to my lawyer and close the door. If they say yes, contact your lawyer and say nothing. Remember, anything you say can be held against you and they have been trained to put the questions to you where whatever you say would be wrong. Don’t talk to them, they are only trying to gather information that would substantiate a crime, don’t give them ANY ammunition!

Now by their presence, if for instance, you were to hold the preeminent course of dialog in nothing but questioning them while filming and refusing their reasoning OR questions, but as citizens (IF the right individual had the necessary ammunition), could the gainsaying prove damaging to them?
I mean to avoid being an “obstruction to justice”, you would have to let them set the premise with the first question, then pedal a series of loops in and out of their suspect and intrusive reasoning with a series of questions for them built on the same premise, refusing to honor “moving along” till you had your answer in hand, and on film could tip the scales significantly in our favor.
I know, I know, not only wishful thinking but could “be used against” us. They are also trained not to answer, simply ask I’m sure. But that would depend on the agent before you, one who likely doesn’t give a ratz what is chinking away on the outside nor what measures of illegal ramifs the one he serves may be entangled in as long as he collect his pay,.

You are not obstructing justice by refusing to answer their questions without an attorney; it is your right. No person can be compelled to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law. Part of that due process includes having an attorney present before being questioned, and if you cannot afford an attorney they must appoint an attorney for you before any questions.

I do not understand your question, because it is totally incoherent. However, I think I was very clear in what I stated. It is not an obstruction of justice to refuse to answer their questions. You have a right to have an attorney present before being asked any questions by any law enforcement officer, including the Secret Service. Ask them if you are under arrest and if they say no, tell them to go pound sand. If they say yes, tell them you want an attorney to be present before answering any of their questions.
You clearly have the “Miranda rights” after you have been charged with a crime. You can not obstruct justice if no crime has been committed. The Secret Service has no right to know (or ask) who your friends are (although they probably already know), how many weapons you possess or whether they are registered, or whether you have ever “gone out to see the president.”
In May 1963 I walked up to the corner from my student apartment and watched Kennedy’s motorcade drive by on the way to the airport after he had addressed a crowd of thousands. Does that put me under suspicion? Harrumph.

You have a constitutional right not to be compelled to testify against yourself, and if everything you say can be used against you in a court of law, whether you are under arest or have been charged with a crime, you cannot be compelled to answer any questions, without the presence of a lawyer. Therefore, it is not an obstruction of justice to refuse to answer questions that might be used in a court of law to incriminate you. When you are being detained or deprived of of your freedom to walk away, you are technically under arrest. Beiing accused of a crime is tantamount to being charged with a crime, thus, you must be afforded the same rights under “Miranda.” I would be willing to argue this in court because I’m certain I would win.

Rudy didn’t HAVE to talk to these apparent Federal Officers. He volunteered to do so in order that the rest of the world could see what they are about. He was very brave and took an awful chance.
The problem is, when you are answering their questions, you must be CERTAIN never to utter any inaccuracy or you could be charged with the felony of lying to a Federal Officer. You best either clam up, or preface every answer with, “To the best of my recollection……”
As I have said elsewhere, I would simply point to the “NO SOLICITATION” sign that sits beside my front door and say, “You are trespassing. Leave immediately,” and close the door. I would call our sheriff’s constable if they didn’t leave immediately. I reserve the right on my own property not to be solicited for sales or for information. Thank you.

Even if he had committed a crime of some sort, he could not have been accused of obstructing justice for simply asserting his 5th amendment right.
The law that made it a felony to lie to a Federal officer changed everything. Up until then, you could say anything you wanted and until you were “read your Miranda rights” it could not be used against you in court. Now, with the “lying is a felony law” on the books, there is the risk that you would be misquoted by the Federal Officer, your words misinterpreted, or you might misremember some past occurrence. Therefore, the only intelligent response is to refuse to answer any questions posed by any Federal official, ever….. If you don’t respond, you can’t be accused of lying.
First, it has always been a felony to lie to a federal officer. Second, it has never been the case that whatever you said prior to being read your Miranda rights could not be used against you in a court of law. This only applies if you were being questioned without being read your Miranda rights. However, any voluntary, incriminating statements you make can and will be used against you in a court of law.

We can, and should do all we can. Lots of theories have been floating around now out there for the types of fixes for these abuses for a number of years. But the reports we hear of this admin. and its hoards being in desperation and panic-mode becomes more and more believable with the escalating frequency. I am hoping Maricopa County will request extradition of the fraudster from DC to Arizona, where he may be formally charged and tried. Then every other county in the USA should do the same.
