The implication: gun-toting Americans are extremists that are potential mass murderers—so keep them under a watchful eye.

Reality Check. Well surpise, suprise as we all knew this type of campaign was coming. Now the thugs and crooks know exactly which homes are NOT protected so it’s like a shopping list on whom to hit next, the unarmed. A lot of gun owners even have decals on their premises stating, “There is nothing in here worth losing your life for!” or something to that effect as fair warning to stay away.
That was the first thing that crossed my dim mind……the bad guys now know who to rob, rape and kill….I have a sticker on my front door with a 38 cal. pistol that says….we don’t call 911, have’nt even had a preacher knock on the door since.

The new said the paper laid off workers so they could get stories with substance and increase proffits. I think all the fraud the president is creating is a story that has substance. Why not put a red dot o all the houses that a un saved a life. This is one way reporting.
Most criminals aren’t the brightest so to say they won’t break in to a house that they know has a gun for protection isn’t a givin. It’s way past time to hold our news sources accountable. I remember a time when there was honor in telling the truth in the news. Well at least I believed them more than now. Anyway, be proud of being able to protect your family with the firearm you have and pray the gov does not try to take that protection from you.
As holding those who wish to repeal the Second Amendment with nary a single vote by US citizens “accountable” would involve killing them, this isn’t gonna happen in today’s Neville Chamberlain world. Almost all aliens there now. How would you expect people from Africa or SW Asia to understand or appreciate the Constitiution, a product of NW European peoples (i.e., Americans) only.

There are currently many street gangs operating in the NYC metro area. Most of these gang members have criminal records and if they have guns in their possession (which most all of them do) they are breaking the law. They are the one’s we should be concerned about. Why doesn’t the news paper publish the names of all the Gang Bangers who are now going to go to these homes and brake in and try to steal the Honest Citizens only way to protect themselves and their families. sadly there can be no law suit against these reporter asshole. this info is legally gained by the freedom of information act, an to publish it is legal under NY state law. BUT if a single persons home that is on that list is broken into there can be a lawsuit if the criminal is caught an admits he got the info from that paper. Way to go media lunatics, now all the crooks have to do is find one of the addressees that is armed and select any residence that is not on the list. The people that are not on the list are the ones who should be complaining because this idiotic list just tells the thieves which homes to skip over to avoid getting shot.
Exactly as one said above, it lets the criminals know who is unarmed and thus ripe for home invasion. I would rather my name be on the list as armed. I want the home invasion criminals to know I will protect my family and not run to hide in the sniveling panic room. If you come to my home to harm us or take what we worked hard to have, then we are going to have a problem. In Detroit, darker complexioned criminals wore body armor marked “Police” and yelling “Police” when they broke down the door for a home invasion back in 2009 best I remember. If that makes you think I am a racist for giving you a description of the criminals, then you are the racist for wanting to protect criminals by not giving an accurate description. Let the blame lay on those responsible. If they were light, I would have told you. No matter which, we need to know what to watch for as criminal. It is not a crime to protect your home and your family and your life.

Not a problem which cannot be “corrected.” It is now up to Westchester gun owners to publish (on the web, billboards, leaflets in grocery stores, etc) the names of all employees of the NY newspaper in question, complete with home addresses, phone numbers, names of wives and children, the schools and classes the kids attend, church affiliations and addresses and on and on.
Really want to cause a little consternation? Follow those whose names appear in the story byline for a few days. Then publish that schedule, hour by hour. Liberals have clearly shown that they do not like it when tables are turned on them. This would be one hell of an effective turn.

I am not ashamed to say my home is protected by two guys.. Mr.Smith and Mr. Wesson. Their boss is a sharpshooter, and former police officer, and the boss is not afraid to use the services of Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson..
