The first of every year, we encourage you to look around, set some goals and live intentionally. As a family we meet together early in the year, devour some quality Chinese Food, and set our goals for the year.
As part of the process, we look around and take inventory of what we see. Part of the process is our annual predictions column. We have some big predictions for 2012, but first let’s review the record of what we said in early 2011.
Last year we said, “Economic growth will remain sluggish at best. Housing prices have not yet hit bottom and will definitely continue falling. Foreclosures will continue unabated and this will pressure the banking system.”
I don’t think we were far off the mark. We continued with, “The Federal Reserve, under the leadership of Ben Bernanke, has run out of tools to boost the economy. Continued quantitative easing will increase inflation while barely budging the unemployment numbers. ”
Again we hit a bulls-eye. The Fed is out of ammunition. They risk serious inflation if they pump much more cash into the system. The only factor currently protecting us from inflation is the deflation in housing and real estate. All the money destroyed in the housing crisis is being restored by the Fed, but it isn’t circulating with us common folk because it is all being used to rescue insolvent banks and governments.
Our only real clunker of a prediction was, “Gasoline will trend upward to nearly $4.00 a gallon, and could even surpass it. Every additional gallon of oil pumped out of the ground is more costly than ever to produce. Rising gas prices will further drag the economy down.” They are up but not that much.
This didn’t happen because demand has been so effectively diminished by the soft economy. When consumers cut back, one of the first places they look is miles driven.
Finally, we predicted, “insider Republicans by the end of 2011 will be well on their way to nominating for President a Mitt Romney or Governor Haley Barbour.” Haley Barbour stepped out, and Newt Gingrich stepped up, but Mitt Romney has consolidated the establishment receiving endorsements from Bob Dole and George H. W. Bush.
Our prediction is that it doesn’t matter whether Romney, Ron Paul, or Gingrich, is the Republican nominee in 2012, the GOP nominee is going to defeat Barack Obama. In future columns we will explain why we are bullish on Republican prospects.
The summer of 2012 will be more violent than the summer of 1968. Occupy protests will morph from hippies dancing to the beat of African drums into a mob tossing Molotov cocktails and burning buildings. Think the violence we see in Cairo and Athens is an ocean away? Don’t bet on it. Most occupy protesters are just uninformed dupes, but inside the leadership lurks hard core Marxists that haven’t let their dreams of violent revolution die.
Finally, MF Global is the start of an international bank run, and we haven’t seen the end of the panic. The global financial system is under a crushing load of debt, and it only takes a catalyst to bring down the house of cards. Don’t expect stocks and other financial instruments to have a good year.
Please make moves to protect yourself through diversification of investments and the ownership of some real assets including Gold.
And remember your best protection is to think for yourself and not rely on the media’s current wisdom. The current wisdom is often the foolish belief of a generation ago. Remember when they said real estate will never go down?

Perdiction 2012:
1/. Iran attempts to attack the US Navy at the Straite of Hormus, early 2012.
2/. Between Fast & Furious and Oklahoma City Bombing of 1995 Eric Holder will be made to resign.
3/. Mitt Romney captures the GOP Nomination for the presidency.
4/. Chris Christie will become the VP running mate of Mitt Romney.
5/. President Obama will put on a very negative Presidential run against Romney/Christie Ticket
6/, President Obama will have to replace Biden for Clinton in hope to win another term, but Obama will still
lose but not by much.
7/. President Elect Romney will ask some of those who ran against him as President to come into his
Cabinet, such as, Newt Gingrich as Chief of Staff, Michelle Bachman will be Secretary of Treasurer.
8/. Sarah Palin will become Sect. of EPA. And will open up Drilling in various places, such as Alaska,
in Wyoming, the Gulf, & other Mid west States.
9/. The US will be ask to go back in to Iraq in order to help stop the major violence that has re-erupted.
10/. OWS will attempt to start a revolution after President Obama leave’s Office grudently, leading to
another Civil War in which the rebellion will be squashed almost as quickly as it started, because work
will start up immediately after President Obama leave office, leading to the arrest of many of Obama’s
supporters, such as SEIU Reps, Union Reps, and AFL/CIO agents.
Michael 11…If I had a wish list this would ALMOST be it. Two things I’d like to see different. I think Romney is nothing more than OJUDAS LITE. I would prefer Newt. Secondly I would like to see OJUDAS THROWN out of office and arrested with Holder and imprisoned forever. Something nobody but me has ever mentioned and I’ll state it once more for the record. OJUDAS is privy to ALL secrets and top secrets that America has. His eyes have already seen and if the truth be known he more than likely has hard copies of sensitive information. When we vote him out he ain’t gonna go easily. Eventually he will go but this little man/boy believes in retribution. He may sell the information he has to the highest bidder. He’s already compromised Britain’s nuclear arsenal by informing the Russians details about Who, What, Where, When and Why. He must NOT be allowed to move about freely. OJUDAS is a demonic spirit. I know spiritual matters don’t set well but like it or not this is what we’re dealing with. He has no soul or at least the one he had he sold to Satan. Don’t be surprised if he isn’t the anti christ. He fits all the criteria and the time is right. Other than that …I like your predictions and I’m gonna copy them and see how accurate they are. Thanks for your input.
Well good for you Eddie haskell, I’m glad you can think for yourself. You wouldn’t believe some of the people I here from, like you, that has comment on Bull shycoff perdictions that mean nothing, and you fall right in line with them, haha, i don’t believe this shycoff. Happy New year Mr. Haskell.

11/. There will be Violent weather in various places throughout the US, worst that the previous year of 2011.
12/. Muslim Brotherhood will have some success in having closet members enter the Congress of the US.
13/. America will have an invasion of the Cartel at the border of Mexico & the US, they will have members of
Taliban within the mix that will seperate from the pack in order to plant wmd’s throughout the US that
will cause major destruction & Deaths.
14/. Iran will be a major player in the attacks on Israel, these attacks will cause Russia & China involvement
into a possible war that will force the US & their Friends to back Israel, but for the moment, tension will
cease for awhile.
15/. North Korea, will be forced to show South Korea that their New Leader is able to protect the People of
North Korea by minor intrusions and bombings of South Korea.
These are Just fun and friendly perdictions, that means nothing other than IF any come true, it will definately be by an act of God, and NOT Me. Let’s see how much fun you can have.

Even at the Woodstock event during the “Hippie” generation, there were, conservatives and liberals. We were part of what was going on even If we disagreed, regardless of age we have a Huge responsibility to our ancestors who fought and died for the principles of freedom for these united states, regardless of race, we have a responsibility to remember how we got to this point, yet realize the divisive tactics of those who seek to divide U.S. We should get to know and communicate with our neighbors regardless of race. A lot of potentially exploitable explosive rioting can be avoided if people worked these things out at a local level BEFORE the fed gets wind and has a chance to somehow put the political spin on it.
