  1. This is the best Talking Point segment O'Reilly has had in awhile. I was beginning to worry about Billy with all his "I'll give president Obama the benefit of the doubt…" rhetoric.

  2. Nothing new here. Libs have used hateful speech constantly on any issue they can find. Read the daily kos…it reads like obsessed vile teenagers with filthy mouths write for them. Read the Huffington post. MOre of the same. Worse yet is the blogosphere. Since they usually write anonymously, their speech is virulent and as hateful as you'll find anywhere in the world. Al'Quaeda's language isn't as lurid or nasty as the far left. At least Al Quaeda doesn't use the profanity Libs use on a daily basis…just as hateful I must ad, but not as profane!

    • DieHardPatriot says:

Once again the left wing loonies prove that Liberalism is indeed also a Mental Disorder. How else can it be explained when the biased left media exploit this when people are grieving. Not only are they irresponsible they are a true depiction of verbal psychopath acts like ,they have no conscience, no remorse, they exploit with no guilt, they are vicious when they are attacked for their partisan favoritism. In regards to the shooting why wasn't the local law enforcement in place …where was her Secret agent body guards-didn't she rate any? Finally, I can hear the deafening silence had this been a republican whom had been put in Intensive care. I conclude, we should all be now praying for her recovery as well as other s and those whom lost their loved ones to this deranged killer instead of like the biased media did- attack everyone but the guilty which by the way includes the media for their inflaming things as usual and their lies.

      • "where was her Secret agent body guards-didn't she rate any?"

No–no one in Congress does except in very rare circumstances, as you could see in some of the coverage of "town hall" meetings a while back: http://www.secretservice.gov/protection.shtml

Members of Congress meet with constituents–unprotected–on an almost daily basis. Perhaps we're lucky that more of them don't get shot, and perhaps we should give them a little more credit for courage.

        • UGACracker says:

She can hire her own security. Give her credit for the courage to meet her constituents? That's like giving her credit for telling the truth. Those things are expected. Nobody made her become a Congresswoman.

          • "Nobody made her become a Congresswoman."

Indeed. And for a variety of reasons, most of us wouldn't choose to be. A question for you: Would you be as open with your views if everyone knew who you were and you were meeting with groups of strangers almost every day?

And even if you would be willing to do that, do you think most of the anonymous commenters here would?

"That's like giving her credit for telling the truth."

With Congress, we may come to that. :-)

          • UGACracker says:

Withholding my opinion has never been something I've refrained from. I would have posted under my own name here but the nickname thing threw me. BTW, it's Anthony Stanley.

I certainly wouldn't have a problem being honest with groups of strangers. My problem with being a legislator is that I would be expected by party leaders to do just the opposite. I will not get in front of a gathering of people and say things I don't believe. I'm not afraid of the reactions of others when I speak my mind. I could be shot just as easily in a road rage incident. In fact, that's much more likely to happen than being shot in a crowd of people.

My guess is that others would not be as free-wheeling with their views if they knew that they would be called out publicly for expressing them. Anonymity is a great equalizer, and makes for a perfect bully pulpit.

It's always bothered me that Americans will give someone who has run afoul of the law or of their moral standards "credit" for 'fessing up. When John Edwards came clean about cheating on his wife all I heard was, "You have to give him credit for being honest." I'm sorry, but no, I don't. Is he somehow more morally superior (or electable) than Bill Clinton, who lied about his infidelity to the point that he was impeached for it? Of course not. Telling the truth didn't help, and it shouldn't. These "public servants" are well compensated for their alleged honesty and ethical fitness.

          • Edwardkoziol says:

UGACracker thanks for letting McDuck have a taste of his own medicine, he's always looking to belittle people. Now had that Sheriff Dumpnik sent deputies down there knowing she was going to be there to meet and greet people just maybe this wouldn't have happen. Here in SC when a politician shows up you always see a police officer present and they are there when Tea Parties hold their rallies.

  3. 1minuteman says:

i wish the conservatives would launch a campaign against senator linda lopez for the big lies she said just hours after the shooting. people in arizona need to remember when she is up for reelection what she said that day which was totally a lie and before any facts were relesed. they might also think about getting rid of that jerk sheriff who did the same and definitely should have known better to wait for the investigation. it almost seems as if he was following orders from the progressive headquarters. if it had been my family hurt those two people would be hearing from my lawyer if not from me personally.

  4. I believe our Congress & Senate is responsible to a large extent because they don't listen to their constituents, passing laws that we don't want or need. This makes the citizens angry and we ask ourselves what can we do? Of course, vote them out but the only answer is term limits. I feel our legislators could care less about the people they serve. They are corrupt and only want to get re-elected so they can increase their power base. Again, this creates a hostile and frustated public.
Until we honestly look at the need to get new legislators every 2-6 years, the anger will persist.

  5. ImpeachZero says:

So now we get to watch the dog and pony show all over again. The republicans are the stars this time around. They will spend months trying to pick threw and mess with all this fraud Oblunder has delivered to America, not getting to the point of the matter. The one thing that will call null and void to all of it. the fact that Oblunder is in fact null and void

  6. Blaming illegal immigration for either of these incidents made no sense the first time you wrote it, and makes no more sense now. Do Loughner and Hasan strike you as Latino names? And both killers were born and raised in the United States–by your rationale, Mexican residents should be afraid of the violence WE bring to the border region.

    • The leftst Sheriff even tried to pin this tragic event on the hatefilled racists (I assume you means rightwingers) of Tucson. I didn't see one Mexican who got shot…did you? This irresponsible and vitriolic sheriff is a horse's a-s-s, and should be removed from office.

  7. Edwardkoziol says:

Jimmy you are so right but watch out the sheriff Jim McPherson sees you misspelled a word he'll be writing to criticize you.How about making a movie on how to kill Bush or wishing Cheney would die when he had heart problems.I guess Sheriff Dumbnik doesn't consider the left as hate speech.keep up the good work.

    • Gary in Colo says:

      Oh yeah Wanda Sykes!
      Hopes Rush's kidneys fail.
      My best friend's kidneys failed.
      My father's kidneys failed.
      Kidney failure kills!!!!

    • Thanks Edward,
McRherson just doesn't understand the spiritual realm: but don't just look at border crossing demonic activity in Foot Hood, Tx Massacre & now Arizona, look at the way illegals draw other like minded crazes to their nesting grounds, we also Waco Tx, & just above Oklahoma boming [now you must misspell some expletive words like castration or they may pull your comment for being to abrasive].
as for Gary in Colo below don't worry we prayed and broke the curse Wanda Sykes (seems like witch), send against Rush, so the curse won't cause his kidneys to fail, but curses always go back on the sender, so who knows what will happen, fortunately God Almighty is in authority!

      • "McRherson just doesn't understand the spiritual realm"

Well, it's true I never played "Dungeons and Dragons."

"illegals draw other like minded crazes to their nesting grounds"

That's just nutty on so many levels. What are "nesting grounds"? The states New York, Washington and Colorado all have huge numbers of illegals, and none border the Mexican border. So does that mean crime everywhere is the fault of "illegals"?

And again, even the cases you use for examples had nothing to do with immigration, illegal or otherwise. With this incident, Fort Hood and Waco, all of the wackos were American-born and raised.

        • You contradict your self, you use Colorado as an example, haven't you head of Columbine? You mention York state The World Trade Center (WTC) was a complex of seven buildings in Lower Manhattan in New York City that were destroyed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. [They indeed have large numbers illegals-and looks at the results]
You obviously don't understand the spirit realm, if you think it is composed of dragons.
Yes, they were American born, but definitely weak minded, & form the evidence you supplied it seems very subject to Illegal's criminal influence.
The more you write the more you make me sound like a genus.

          • So now Columbine and 9/11 were because of illegal aliens, too? Or just ghosts?

          • I see you don't understand the spirit real at all.
No, ghosts as you must believe don't exist, people go to heaven or hell, and some demons through curses have the ability to imitate dead people especially if they were with the dead when they lived.
there is no purgatory, just a creation of the catholic church to extort money.
The idea of purgatory came from a non-scriptural book the Maccabees, it was written during a time when no prophets of God Almighty walked the earth, & it isn't used by Christians, but I believe it is still in the Catholic bible. The book of Maccabees is full of paganism & superstition.

          • The influence of the demonic realm over an area is given authority to be there by the lawlessness of that area, & remain under the influence of the "prince of the power of the air" until a "Son of GOD Almighty" comes and displaces them, like we read about in the Welsh revival, Azusa street revival, & when John G. Lake walked the earth under the power of God Almighty and healed 100,000 people in Spokane, & then came to Portland & did the same. He went from hospital to hospital healing people until all or almost all of the hospitals from Portland, to Seattle, to Spokane closed down, then he went to Africa where he healed whole bubonic plague colonies, because the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ was on him
I hope this helps you understand the spirit realm!

          • "healed 100,000 people in Spokane"

Which would be quite a trick, considering that at the time the city's population was almost exactly 100,000 (a bit less when he got there, perhaps a bit more when he left).

"The book of Maccabees is full of paganism & superstition."

So in other words it's just like the 2008 Republican presidential platform? ;-)

        • Edwardkoziol says:

Nesting grounds are were they come to roost so they can get welfare and any other program that is offered.Amsterdam ,NY became the breeding ground for NYC puerto ricans who got welfare by just showing up at the welfare office and the city has gone to the dogs.On our local TV station they showed a sign in Grand Central Station in NYC that if you want welfare with no problems come to Amsterdam,NY Montgomery County and these porch monkeys showed up in droves.

        • James; the illegals are all over the lower 48 states, they work in the fields of the mid-west they do most of the lawn care on the west coast. The point is that yes most are here trying to work and make money, but we need to not give them all a free pass to citizenship over the ones that are following the LAWS to come to this country. They also have about a equal percentage of law breakers that any population has and we need to know who exactly is coming to this country and what is their back ground. They broke the law when they crossed the border and some of them have done things up to and including murder. YOUR Question: So does that mean crime everywhere is the fault of "illegals"? Yes some and I hope you never come across a real MS-13 Gang member or your view of them being not at least a part of our crime problem in this country will be different I am sure. we have enough criminals of our own we down need anymore from any of the countries to the south of us that are usually glad these bad actors come here. That is one point of view I have never heard from the left, all I hear from the left is "These people are just here doing jobs that no American will do." Of course no American will do these jobs at the pay being paid to the "Migrant Farm Workers. Do you know that in the 50s and 60s the AFLCIO Union use to pick all the crops and were paid very well. I have wood crates from that time period and from California that have the Union labels on them from the past. The unions started out with good intentions back then but as today the Union leaders got greedy and most of them don't have any money for there members in there retirement "Lock Boxes". SO when it got to the point that farm owners could not profit due to the cost of labor was eating up all profits they started using young children, until the Child labor law stop that, so they started using Migrant Farm works. Today we have unknown millions in our country with a percentage of criminals in the shadows that are killing people. Then I see the last election that same union borrowed money so they can give it to the left for the election. 87 Million dollars! SEAL THE FREAKING BORDER! and do not give jobs to people that have broken the law to get here. Yes we have enough WACKOS already in this country we don't need to increase the herd form the south in turn that will give us more time to focus on the home grown ones. How far will the left go to get a vote by opening the flood gates to the south. One of my best friends that I grew up with was murdered by a MS-13 gang Member in OHIO> nuf said.

          • For the record, I never said they weren't part of the crime problem. But they're a relatively small part, overall, and completely irrelevent in the cases Jimmy cites, which started this particular discussion.

  8. UGACracker says:

The NY Times is a despicable, hypocritical rag unworthy of a readership. Fox News, with their irresponsible coverage of Jared Taylor and American Renaissance, is no better in their media venue. Too bad O'Reilly didn't call out his own network for their journalistic failures on the very same story.

  9. Yes, there's been a lot of awful coverage–and the Fox News example cited above by UGACracker might be the worst in terms of just making things up. Odd that in repeated posts critical of various media here, Caleb missed that one: http://www.examiner.com/charleston-conservative-i

    • UGACracker says:

You've probably noticed that no other news service has run the Jared Taylor story. With good reason, I might add. In their rush to protect Sarah Palin from (undue) criticism Fox didn't hesitate to throw someone else under the bus. Fox News is better than that. At least they used to be…
