Once again, the guns did it, and it’s somehow conservatives’ fault.
Friday’s murders in Newtown, Connecticut of 20 children and six adults are a sad tragedy; yet it seemed as if the bodies were not even cold before the Left jumped in, eager to make use of this latest “opportunity” to spread their anti-gun dogma.
President Obama got the ball rolling with a tearful call for “meaningful action.” That was all that was needed for the minions to crawl out of their dungeons and go to work. New York City’s nanny Mayor Michael Bloomberg called for a national gun policy:
President Obama rightly sent his heartfelt condolences to the families in Newtown. But the country needs him to send a bill to Congress to fix this problem. Calling for ‘meaningful action’ is not enough. We need immediate action. We have heard all the rhetoric before. What we have not seen is leadership – not from the White House and not from Congress. That must end today. This is a national tragedy and it demands a national response.

If there is any one group to blame for this shooting and any other shooting it would be the group that is attacking the God fearing Christians. The godless democrats and atheist have fought for years to remove God from our schools, universities and government and now that they are succeeding at their endeavor, evil moves about in ways that we fine beyond our imagination. I’m sure all legal gun owners are apalled at the events in Ct, two days ago. However the guns didn’t make the decision to kill 26 people, a deranged murderous person did. The constitution s second amendment gives citizens the right to own guns, Mr. Bloomberg and his liberal friends , including obama do not have the right to deny that. If private ownership of guns is denied the entire U.S. will be like Chicago. Under a gun ban Chicago had the most murders of any city in the U.S. last year. Stop murderous people, not guns.

Sirhan Sirhan didn’t remember anything after shooting Robert Kennedy. Holmes, who shot up the theater in Colorado, looked vacant at his hearing. It seems unwitting people are being used by various agencies to do the dirty work of getting gun control passed. Once the population is disarmed, what will prevent a dictatorship?
Many people are aware that the administration is not loyal to American values and ideals. There will probably be a big upsurge in gun sales, just as there was after the election of a person known to be anti-American.

I understand the state has the strictist rules for guns in the US……laws don’t mean any thing to someone who wants to break them……it is against the law to carry any wepon in or on school grounds…..Just read where Obama has a list of 79,000 people wanting him to act on guns……I am shure 45 million for guns could be sent in a day……
It was absolutely criminal the way Obama AND his liberal media politicized the shootings at the school in CT. They couldn’t even wait until the next day to pounce, never let a desaster go to waste as they say. Despicable !! Connecticut is among those states with the strictest gun laws and regulations on the books… shouldn’t that be proof enough that the problem isn’t gun laws??? or lack thereof??

There is NO piece of paper or Legislation that can protect you from this type of violence! Pass all the laws you want! The best protection is to be protected! The guy stole the guns he was denied when he tried to buy one! Just a few days prior to this! Going after the guns of law abiding citizens will never stop someone like this. Armed teacher could of made a big difference, instead of trying to jump him they could of shot him. But guns aren’t allowed in schools, so where does someone go? Someplace where they have the upper hand! You see it time and time again, they certainly don’t go to the police station!

If we band guns than they should band cars; more people are killed in cars wrecks in America every year than those killed with guns. And maybe we should band all alcohol which is directly associated with many of the car wrecks and fights that lead to the loss of many lives in America.

Nannybear is right. People who want to do things like this will always find a way. I agree that this administration is seizing this horrible event as a tool to use. In fact I wouldn’t be one bit surprised to find out that it was orchestrated by them in some way to have a reason to enforce their guns laws. What about the man that killed so many children in China with a knife? Some people are just messed up. I cannot begin to imagine how the parents in Conn. must be feeling and I pray it never happens again but taking away the rights of our citizens to own and hold guns will not fix any of that. This was an unspeakable crime, we all would have stopped it if we could have. It’s really bad to feel the way I do about people who should have my respect but the facts have borne out that they don’t deserve it. If they use this to take away our guns we will have no chance at all. It would be just like Hitler was never stopped. He is following in Hitler’s footsteps. There used to be a documentary that was run occasionally, it was called Remember Us and it was film of actual concentration camps and awful things and sights. I saw it as a child several times and it left a lasting impression on me. To see our country going down that same road terrifies me, it should everyone. Personally I am praying for all the victim’s families. They have suffered a terrible loss with Christmas right around the corner. They will never enjoy the season again. I just don’t understand how a human being could do that to another, and especially not to little children. They are so precious, so innocent and trusting. It’s a nightmare but taking away personal protection is not the answer.
I believe that they will find that the shooter was whacked out on medication that he was taking for his mental illness. The doctor or doctors that were treating him need to be investigated for the type of drugs that they were prescribing to him as must the pharmacies be investigated as well to be certain that he was not abusing the prescribed medication.
No sane person could ever have committed that horrific crime, he must have been completely out of his mind, the question is was he being monitored properly by the doctors and were the drugs that he was prescribed in line to what he needed to stabilize him and was it possible that the drugs could have caused him to do what he did?
IN MOST CASES YOU CAN’T BLAME THE DOCTOR THE DOCTOR PRESCRIBES THE MEDS BUT HE CAN’T HOLD HIS HAND TO MAKE SURE THE PATIENT TAKES AS PRESCRIBED OR IF HE OR SHE EVEN TAKES IT . IN SOME CASES THE DR. WILL GIVE AS MUCH AS THEY WANT LIKE JACKSON AND SOME OTHER WELL KNOWN

Do the lame brained liberals really think all the criminals are going to turn in thier guns and go back to using fists? Oh I forgot, these are tactics to make us a docile populace for the NWO.
Here’s a history of what happens after governments have disarmed their citizens:
1911 – Turkey disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1915 – 1917 they murdered 1.5 million Armenians.
1929 – Russia disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1929 – 1953 they murdered 20 million Russians.
1935 – China disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1948 – 1952 they murdered 30 million Chinese.
1938 – Germany disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1939 – 1945 they murdered 16 million Jews.
1956 – Cambodia disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1975 – 1977 they murdered 1 million Educated people.
1964 – Guatemala disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1964 – 1981 they murdered 100,000 Mayan Indians.
1970 – Uganda disarmed it’s citizens, and between 1971 – 1979 they murdered 300,000 Christians.
You can argue about the numbers, but the point here is that disarmed citizens are vulnerable, and that there are many historical examples of disarmed citizens being killed and oppressed by their own government. The excuse given by authorities that they need to take guns away from citizens in order to lower crime rates is not supported by facts. Even if a government does not turn on its own citizens after disarming them, people are less safe – because unarmed citizens are easy targets to criminals. Over and over again, it has been clearly shown that taking guns away from citizens does not lead to a decrease in crime but rather a dramatic increase.
Australia has disarmed it’s citizens, and a year later the homicide rate in the largest province is up 300%. The burglaries of seniors is “dramatically” up. I guess the criminals did not turn their weapons in. Only the innocent law abiding citizens turned in weapons.
In US cities with the highest crime rates, taking guns away from the citizens has not lowered the homicide rate. All it has done is to make it easier for criminals to operate.
The 2nd amendment is not about duck hunting, or deer hunting. It is about having the ability and the right to defend oneself and your family. It doesn’t matter if that threat is a burglar, or the Federal Government. A disarmed population is fair game for any president who may be aspiring to become a dictator. Having its citizens armed was the plain and simple intent of the founding fathers of our country.
Yep, these corrupt politicians want to kill us by disarming us first. They don’t want us to defend ourselves from their criminal assaults on us. Blooming idiot Bloomberg, obozo and Soras are conspiring to disarm us because they want to asault/attack us without resistence. It makes one wonder are they behind these killings so they can use them as an excuse to violate our God-given Second Amendment rights. They really don’t care about the children killed in this attack. I mean they have the blood of the unborn on their hands since 1973 — millions and millions of them. Do we really think they care about children. They don’t care about the children in the womb.
LaoLang, well said and right on target, the only reason BO wants to disarm the American people is that when he introduces Sharia law once he again comes out of the closet as he did on homosexuality, he wants little if any resistance.

Is there any doubt in anyone’s mind what Obama’s true objective is, if so, wake up smell the coffee before it is too late. Obama is a radical extremist Muslim. He is the absolute most dangerous man that has ever taken a breath of air, and he will go down in history as such.
Unless he is stopped by having been proven ineligible to hold office, this country is on the fast track of destruction.

Many, if not all, of the recent massacres have been committed by deranged people. It would be nearly impossible, without encroaching on personal liberty, to seek out and “neutralize” individuals who are likely to commit such acts. Conversely, to propose unconstitutional limits on firearms ownership would only occur to the unjust. It is a problem with no perfect solution. An alternative plan would be to mandate that all school employees acquire firearms training, purchase a suitable pistol, and become deputized law-enforcement personnel. Many educators must keep current as to the latest developments in their trade at their own expense. This would be added to the list.
This is a logical and workable plan that may not see the light of day, due to the fact that it flies in the face of popular Federal opinion. I’m not holding my breath.
