Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz predicted on Tuesday that President Obama’s apparent snub of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will put the critical swing state of Florida at “substantial risk” in the November election and threatens to further ratchet up the likelihood of a military strike against Iran.
“I think that the Democrats are in danger of losing even at this point a majority of the Jewish voters,” asserted Dershowitz in an exclusive interview with Newsmax. “What matters is how many votes they get in Florida. And I think they are putting Florida at substantial risk.”
Faced with growing tensions between the two countries over Iran’s nuclear threat, the White House had earlier rejected a request by Israel’s leader to meet with President Obama when he visits the United States this month, according to Reuters.
Netanyahu’s aides had asked for a meeting when he visits the United Nations this month, and “the White House has got back to us and said it appears a meeting is not possible,” an unnamed Israeli official told the wire service. “It said that the president’s schedule will not permit that.”
Dershowitz, a Newsmax contributor, who has largely been supportive of Obama’s handling of the Iranian threat, insists that it’s a “mistake” for the president not to meet with Netanyahu, something that has not happened on any of Netanyahu’s previous trips to the U.S. since 2009.

The critical danger of Florida’s swinging to the Republican Party is nothing compared to the hate and anger shown to the nation of Israel. The cry from those that have a relevant fear for the LORD, for that which is true and just is no longer heard within America. America’s rejection of the truth has sealed her fate and this will be revealed in the coming days, weeks or years….. Those who have shunned or cursed Israel are likewise shunned or cursed by God. Their fate will be the same as those who were destroyed in Sodom and Gomorrah for rejecting the warnings from Lot.
watchman48, you are so right but I think Obama thinks he is above Israel and the Jewish people. Don’t you think he’ll do something big to try and garner the Jewish peoples sympathy before the election? It’s shameful the way he treats Netanyahu. The Jewish people can be proud of their leader, he shows more concern for all people than Obama ever could. We have to vote Obama out in November.

Man’s so called wisdom in thinking he knows all that there is to be known has always amazed me. True wisdom is gained from what man has experienced in life. There is nothing in this life that man can say for a certainty, unless he has seen, or experienced directly or indirectly that which pertains to his statements, beliefs, or faith. In other words, for man to say, “I know God does not exist,” just because he personally has not experienced a life changing event is nothing less than pure ignorance.
Nothing happens that God is not aware of… He gives man free will to choose for a season and than He will work is miracle in trying to redirect man’s steps…. He allowed America to elect the most unrighteous president in America’s history because the vast majority is unrighteous for supporting the abortion and gay rights agendas; and the worse abomination of all is man’s rejection of Christ.
One revelation from God is worth far more than the knowledge gained from all the books in the world written by men who have no understanding or comprehension of the absolute truth of God’s WORD.
Many have said that America is the only hope for peace in the world… This is a lie from hell. The only hope for peace in this world is with Christ Jesus.
Now is the time for all of the people of the Jewish faith to come together and show Obama where you stand on his dislike for the Jewish faith and people. Tell him in November by voting him out of the white house.
