In May 2009, nurse Catherina Cenzon-DeCarlo was forced to participate in committing a late term abortion in a New York City hospital. Ms. Cenzon-DeCarlo was threatened with the loss of her job and her license if she did not put aside her deeply held religious objections and participate in abortion.
She was told the abortion was an emergency, although the hospital’s records show otherwise. What is clear is that in a hospital full of nurses, the administration felt it had to make its point by forcing a Christian nurse to knuckle under.
At the time nurse Cenzon-DeCarlo was forced to yield to the hospital’s lust for death, federal law protected her. Although she was the one who was legally and morally victimized, she now has to sue to get the hospital to stop harassing her.
The federal protections extended to those who refuse to commit abortions as provided in an executive order signed by George W. Bush are gone now. Barack Obama, the most pro-abortion president in history, has ordered the Justice Department to bring actions against those who would follow their religious conscience and refuse to commit abortions.
The Bush protections for medical professionals are gone, because Obama has ordered the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to see that the right of refusal is extinguished.
It is hard to look at Obama’s decision without seeing a clear bias against those not considered to be AG Eric Holder’s “people.” A new action by the Justice Department makes this point.
Safoorah Khan, a 35-year-old Illinois middle school math instructor, faced a different religious dilemma. She wanted to make a pilgrimage to Mecca – something that is required of Muslims just once in a lifetime – but wanted to do it during the school year.
She had been hired just nine months earlier, and the three week trip would take her away from her students at a crucial phase of their studies. Additionally, she was the only qualified math teacher on the faculty.
The school administration denied Khan’s request, and she resigned. Case closed? Not to the Justice Department. Holder has decided Khan was forced to resign and therefore discriminated against because of her religious beliefs.
The blatantly duplicitous nature of this action is proof positive of the malice Obama and Holder have toward those who are not “their people.”
Holder and Obama will fight for the right of a Muslim to practice her religion even when there was no compelling reason to do so at that particular time; yet they want to attack Christians seeking the right not to commit an abortion. What’s wrong with this picture?
This in-your-face declaration that we don’t count to these people should serve as a constant reminder of why we have to throw Obama and his pro-death party out of power next year.

Two years ago, George Soros said he wanted to reorganize the entire global economic system. In two short weeks, he is going to start – and no one seems to have noticed.
On April 8, a group he’s funded with $50 million is holding a major economic conference and Soros’s goal for such an event is to “establish new international rules” and “reform the currency system.” It’s all according to a plan laid out in a Nov. 4, 2009, Soros op-ed calling for “a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order.”
The event is bringing together “more than 200 academic, business and government policy thought leaders’ to repeat the famed 1944 Bretton Woods gathering that helped create the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Soros wants a new ‘multilateral system,” or an economic system where America isn’t so dominant.
More than two-thirds of the slated speakers have direct ties to Soros. The billionaire who thinks “the main enemy of the open society, I believe, is no longer the communist but the capitalist threat” is taking no chances.
Thus far, this global gathering has generated less publicity than a spelling bee. And that’s with at least four journalists on the speakers list, including a managing editor for the Financial Times and editors for both Reuters and The Times. Given Soros’s warnings of what might happen without an agreement, this should be a big deal. But it’s not.
What is a big deal is that Soros is doing exactly what he wanted to do. His 2009 commentary pushed for “a new Bretton Woods conference, like the one that established the post-WWII international financial architecture.” And he had already set the wheels in motion.
In the past ten years some 37,000 American churches closed their doors.
Churches in the U.S. lose about 2,765,000 members each year as ˇdrop-outsˇ.
For various reasons, 18,000 pastors leave the ministry annually.
Only 2.2% of churches in the United States are growing by conversion-increase.
At the same time the church is losing ground, the Muslim population in North America increased by 91%. That was a growth from 1.8 million to 3.5 million. In one year–2005ˇnearly 96,000 people from Islamic countries became permanent residents in the United State. Hear this carefully: In 1970 there were 100,000 Muslims in the United States. Today there are 9 million. Within 30 years there will be 50 million. You do the math. You predict the future.
In Europe, statistical studies show that the 52 million Muslims there will double within 20 years to 104 million. France already has more mosques in the south than churches and that nation is predicted to become an Islamic country within 35 years. Germany will capitulate sooner than France. Are these new residents friendly to their adopted country? Last fall, immigrant Muslim youths torched tens of thousands of cars in cities across France. They created more havoc and fires than has been seen in France since World War II. During New Year’s Eve, immigrants set fires to another 425 cars in cities around France. Earlier, they bombed crowded subways killing many innocent victims. …
Pay attention parents! It’s spring. And before you know it, Massachusetts public schools will begin their yearly sex-ed lessons for kids as young as 5. Of course, they won’t call it “sex ed.” They’ll call it “health.” But a rose by any other name is still a rose. …When I inquired, school administrators politely informed me that the HIV lessons contained no references to sex. I was relieved, yet confused. “Since HIV is primarily sexually transmitted,” I asked, “how can you possibly teach the subject and ignore the elephant in the room?” The teacher explained: “Children need to know that this is out there, and that you can get it from other people’s blood. We teach them to be careful around blood and to have compassion for people with HIV. We focus on HIV as a status.” A status? As in race or gender? It seemed a stretch. …Indeed, when specifically asked why the school presents lessons on HIV in the third grade, rather than in middle school, one school administrator made this shocking admission: “The goal is to reach kids before they absorb their parents’s values. By middle school it’s too late.”…
School in Philadelphia teaches brotherly ‘jihad’ – You won’t believe instruction at U.S. campus tied to Osama By Aaron Klein – The school originally was founded as the International Muslim Brotherhood, which boasted of educational input from a radical cleric who was an associate of Osama bin Laden. The institute’s website promotes jihad “in the context of self-defense or guarding the sacred, holy lands of Islam.” The school is allied with a Muslim student association known for hosting anti-American extremists. No, the school is not in Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia. It’s based in Philadelphia.
I read where a young muslim teacher who is in her first year in Chicago wanted to take the Hajj.
She was told you go your fired and Eric Holder said you fire her and I will take you to court.
Taxpayers money for this loser in court.
