I am with you….if I don’t leave the country first! I find it amazing that EVERY person in Switzerland owns a gun (or more) and yet THEY don’t have wars and rioting in the streets. Perhaps their crime rate is low too. Who’s going to break into a home knowing there’s an armed owner in there?

Five years ago if someone told you that a; Muslin radical with not political experience and no valid birth certificate would be the president of the U S A. What would you have thought? I do not know what the great plan is, but you can bet that you will not be asked to come down to City Hall and give up your weapons.
A guess would be that a civil unrest breaks out. The military will not act against their own. ; The United Nations will be asked to come in. They will empower one or more armies to help them. Very much like a governor would ask the Nation Guard for help. The invite army could be from several countries. Keeping your weapons will not be an option.—Just Saying.
If these circumstances unfold as you suggest, Then you know what you have to do. You have the right to defend yourself and Country from invasion both foreign and domestic. The second Amendment guarantees you that right.
Unfortunately, it appears that you will surrender to tyranny rather than fight for liberty to defend what so many have died in the past to insure you have enjoyed life, liberty and pursuit of happiness thus far.

I stole the “Good day to Die” line from the Sioux, but eventually it will happen and we should prepare ourselves. The world hates us all for being American and having had a pretty good life. I am 70 now, so I see no reason to change my way of life under threat of imprisonment or death. Don’t fear serpents that can only kill the body, fear the One who can take the body and Soul. It would be better for me to die in a fight over my own property than to live in a world led by serpents that would come into my home and take what they want. I will defend myself against home invasion.
DeeJay, I to, am almost 70. I feel the same as you. I WILL fight anyone who tries to take my God given right to self defense away. I would rather die fighting for freedom than live under Obama’s tyranny.
It looks like there might be a Red Dawn here in our country except it will not be russians we will have to fight. It will be our own military, police and the UN blue hats..
