First, there was Flag@WhiteHouse.gov. Then the Obama campaign launched the the Attack Watch website. Now the Committee for the Perpetual Re-election of Barack H. Obama has a new trick to collect private information about Republicans and other Enemies of the State: getting your Democratic friends to rat you out under the guise of a “joke.” They are supposed to make a donation to Obama (who isn’t?), then send the campaign your e-mail address to tell you that you inspired the donation. The White House Dossier website explains:
The Obama presidential campaign is launching an effort to collect Republican email addresses by inviting its supporters to submit information about their Republican associates to the Obama 2012 website…
He then quotes the website’s pitch:

This holiday season, we’re giving you a chance to have a little fun at the expense of a Republican in your life by letting them know they inspired you to make a donation to the Obama campaign.
Simply enter their name and email address below. Then, we’ll send them a message letting them know they inspired you to donate.
Thank you for supporting this campaign, and happy holidays.
Important: By making a donation today, you’ll be automatically entered for a chance to have dinner with Barack and Michelle Obama. By clicking on the “Submit” button below or otherwise participating in the promotion, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements.

So funny. I sent an email to the White House about ILLEGAL immigration. (Illegal means against the laws of the United States). I actually got a reply. What a bunch of double talk!!! I actually find it very amusing that they are receiving so few donations from the average citizen that they have resorted to raffling off dinner with the Obama…and even then they didn't get as many takers as they needed to balance their big Wall Street donors, so they had to make poor Michelle show up too! If they don't start getting their base on board, they aren't going to have a shot in the coming election….and wouldn't THAT just be a crying shame! NOT!!!

TY and you are correct! My email got picked up in the very first days of flag@whitehouse.gov. All I ever got from the prez were donation pleas. BUT they must have shared the emails with their far left flame throwers, because I got cussed up one side and down the other over and over and over again by O-bots. It was so much FUN!!!!! And I really mean that…I had a blast driving them crazy with facts while they tried to convert me with feelings!
I find anyone I know sends my email address to obama I'll send them something a whole lot less "friendly" and a whole lot less "fun." They can count on that.

Wouldn't such an email be considered spam? It's certainly not personal email since it does not come from a friend so that should place it in the commercial category. Spam is worth up to a penalty of $16,000 an email. If there were any chance of making the charge stick…..
