Barack Obama may have just lost the election. He has foolishly gone to war in an election year with tens of millions of Catholics, Protestants, and Jews – Democrat, Republican, and independent alike. He has thrown down a radical feminist gauntlet and dared the Church to pick it up.
They’ve picked it up.
From running up trillions in debt and deficit, to the vast expansion of the size and scope of federal bureaucracy, Mr. Obama has done more in three years to supplant our 236 year-old Constitutional Republic with a Euro-style socialist autocracy – than a lesser Marxist could have accomplished in a lifetime.
But controlling the purse strings is not nearly enough. A central element of full-blown secular-socialism is the suppression of religious liberty – principally, freedom of conscience.
Karl Marx once said: “The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.”

In what is perhaps the most egregious executive overreach in our lifetime, the president’s Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, has unconstitutionally decreed that both Catholic and Protestant organizations must violate fundamental tenets of the Christian faith by providing ObamaCare coverage that includes birth control, sterilization and various forms of abortion. This is as blatant a violation of the First Amendment’s guarantee to religious “free exercise” as we’ve ever seen.
Despite two pathetic feints at “compromise,” Obama’s illegal requirement that faith-based groups pay for policies providing immoral “reproductive services” remains in full force.
On Friday, the Obama administration offered its latest non-compromise “compromise.” LifeSiteNews.com reports: “The White House announced today that, instead of forcing religious employers to pay for birth control, it will force insurance companies to offer the drugs free of charge to all women, no matter where they work.”
America: this arrogant, narcissistic, amoral man thinks you’re stupid. Who do you think pays for the insurance policies that provide “free” birth control, sterilizations, and abortifacients to employees? Why, the very religious organizations doctrinally prohibited from paying for these “services” in the first place, of course.
This is nothing but a South Side Chicago shell game, dressed up as a concession. Obama’s unprecedented attack on the First Amendment continues full steam ahead.
In Dreams from My Father, Mr. Obama writes: “To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully.” It should come as little surprise that, among those carefully selected friends, he gives his “Marxist professors and the structural feminists” top billing. In fact, as we approach the 2012 general election, it has become alarmingly clear the degree to which various secular “isims” have shaped the development of Obama’s ungodly worldview.
From the moment he falsely claimed, “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation,” many have screamed from the rooftops that, despite his incongruous claims to be a Christ follower, Barack Obama, in reality, harbors tremendous animus toward all things Christian.
It’s not surprising, then, that – even prior to his latest act of anti-religious authoritarianism – a Pew Research Center survey had determined that, under Obama’s leadership, “the number of [religious] voters who identify as a Democrat has declined, while the number saying they lean toward the GOP has risen.”
Some highlights:
·White evangelical Protestant support for the GOP has grown from 65 percent in 2008 to 70 percent today;
·80 percent of Mormons now say they identify with or lean toward the Republican Party;
·White mainline Protestants, who were evenly divided between the parties in 2008, now favor the GOP by a 12-point margin;
·White non-Hispanic Catholics, who gave Democrats an eight-point advantage in 2008 now give Republicans a seven-point advantage at the end of 2011 (a remarkable 15-point swing);
·Even Jewish voters – traditionally one of the strongest Democratic constituencies – have moved noticeably in the Republican direction; Jewish voters favored the Democrats by a 52-point margin in 2008 but now prefer the Democratic Party by a significantly smaller 36-point margin.
It stands to reason that, in the wake of his most recent attack on religious freedom, Democrat’s favor with the faithful will only further erode.
Catholics especially are having none of it. Bill Donohue, president of the non-partisan Catholic League lashed out last week: “Never before; unprecedented in American history for the federal government to line up against the Roman Catholic Church.”
Ms. Sebelius first feigned compromise in the aftermath of the original announcement, haughtily granting some religious groups one year “to adapt to this new rule.”
“In effect, the president is saying we have a year to figure out how to violate our consciences,” responded Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan, archbishop of New York and president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
In the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr., many Catholic priests across the nation have vowed civil disobedience. On January 29, they read a form letter to parishioners pledging that Catholics “cannot – we will not – comply with this unjust law.”
Nor should they.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has introduced a bill called the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 2012 that would restore liberty of conscience to religious groups. Evangelical leaders are allying en masse with their kindred papist travelers.
Mathew Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, said “ObamaCare is a direct attack on the moral and religious beliefs of our nation. One year will not change religious tenets that have been in place for thousands of years. This administration has pressed its radical pro-abortion agenda on the American people and around the world … ObamaCare is an assault on our freedom.”
Dr. Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC), has said “we will not comply” with this law. He has pledged to face jail time instead: “We want the law changed, or else we’re going to write our letters from the Nashville jail, just like Dr. King wrote his from the Birmingham jail.”
This is the stuff of civil war. This is a battle Barack Obama and Democrats cannot win. He has two choices: He can either stubbornly stand firm and continue to give the GOP a tremendous election year bat with which to beat him about the head and neck; or he can cave and further cultivate the snowballing narrative that he is weak and impetuous.
Either way, the president has suffered a self-inflicted wound so deep that it may not heal before November, especially since (as evidenced by his latest illusory “accommodation”) he can’t seem to stop picking at the scab.

Of course, this is a LIE because BO went to a Catholic school when he arrived in Indonesia and then Public School his last 2 years there and BY LAW all students who attend Public Schools are REQUIRED to study ISLAM. You can choose not to study ISLAM during the 2 hour per week Islamic studies if you are Hindu, Jewish or Christian. But he not only could hear the prayer call but he can recite prayer call in pefect Arabic. If he didn’t attend the 2 hour per weel Islamic studies he would not be able to do this. I know he can do it because I have personally heard him recite the prayer call.

So from Obama’s own mouth, he claims to be a Christian but believes Jesus was merely a historical figure, describes himself as drawing role faith from Judaism and his role model is Ghandi. Yet he was raised surrounded by Muslims and his exposure to Christianity consisted of one day a YEAR in a Christian Church while studying the Muslim religion 2 hours a week for 2 years. That is 160 hours of Islamic study. Plus he would go to Islamic services with his Father once in a while as well. The first two years he was in Catholic school were 1st and 2nd grade. So I doubt he received much Roman Catholic instruction. His non-Catholic instruction was one visit a year for Easter service until he moved in with his Grandparents.
Granted that these are excerpts from the full interview and I have selected the most eggregious ones but the whole interview soulds like a man who really doesn’t believe in much of anything. He describes the type of Islam practiced in Indonesia as “animal worship” and that is the type he was taught. About the only form of worship he wasn’t exposed to (maybe) is whichcraft.
There is nothing wrong with looking at Jesus as a historical figure, since Musims and Jews do so, but to do so and then claim to be Christian is beyond belief.
Most people gave up animal worship several thousand years ago yet looking at how Obama speaks about religion, I think he does believe in animal worship on a subliminal basis. Thus his admiration of Ghandi, since Hiduism has a strong basis in animal worship of snakes, monkeys, elephants and cows in particular.
Now you tell me what his religious beliefs actually are!

This article is spot on. The bigger issue here is the continued unconstitutional actions of this President. Mr. Barber is correct in stating the latest compromise pushed by the White House is no different than the original encroachment on religious freedom. The birth control nees of women can be met in a number of different ways from Planned Parenthood, to local clinics. If someone is unable to afford to pay they are often significantly reduced in price or free. The idea that low income women may be unable to get these items is hogwash. The light day constantly need to be shown on this President and administration so the media does not pull the wool over the American peoples eyes again, with smooth talk and unattainable promises. These people need to be voted out on their proverbal ear.

After the November meeting with Obama, Archbishop Dolan said the meeting was “extraordinarily friendly”, and he had hopes for a good outcome. Obama was playing the Muslim game of “hudna”, which states that lying to a non-Muslim to achieve an objective is acceptable. Now the Archbishop feel betrayed.
Obama has broken his oath of office to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America”. He has overstepped the bounds of his authority. This is grounds for impeachment. We must demand that our Congress start proceedings immediately. The demand to your representatives should include the statement that their jobs depend on it. We must elect Conservatives to the Senate and House of Representatives so that they are the majority in Congress. With a majority, Obama can be overruled.
It would seem that Archbishop Dolan has been our generation’s Neville Chamberlain, who politely sold Europe out to Hitler. Maybe he can be our generation’s Churchill, as well, and lead the Catholics (at least) in revolt against the amoral and unconstitutional demands of an increasingly autocratic Obama.
Archbishop Dolan said that when he met with Obama in November, he was assured that the administration would work with the Church. Obama was “extraordinarily friendly”. Obama, as a Muslim, feels it is acceptable to lie to a non-Muslim to achieve an objective. Obama lied. The archbishop said he feels betrayed and has stated the “accommodation” is not good enough.
I have written my Congressman, Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA) and was informed that impeaching Obama would only be an action of “partisan politics”, and would lack legal standing. He obviously has not read the same Constitution that serves as our instrument of government. My goal now is to primary Westmoreland at the very least, serving him notice that having an “R” behind his name is simply not enough to continue as our public servant.
What’s to say? Trample the Constitution. Trample the Bill of Rights. Trample America. How any AMERICAN can rationalize voting for this guy is beyond my comprehension. I could go on. Why bother?

In my opinion, George W. Bush and President Richard Nixon were two of the worst presidents our country has had in my lifetime. To name a few of his accomplishments: The economy is recovering, as opposed to declining as it did under George W. Bush; unemployment has improved; he got Osama bin Laden, who the Bush administration was supposed to eliminate; he brought the troops home from Iraq; and he’s in the process of withdrawing our troops from Afghanistan. To top it all off, while he was making his State of the Union address, orders he had given to rescue hostages in Somalia were carried out.

Since demographics is what drives the economy, I believe that biggest source of the economic problem is the abomination of law passed by bigoted, immoral, liberal supreme court justices called Row v. Wade. Since the passing of this law FROM THE BENCH, over 50 million little, defenseless babies had their heads crushed and their brains sucked out just because women could not keep their legs crossed, because some found that having a baby was inconvenient or because Planned Parenthood talked people into abortion in order to increase their profits. (They should NOT receive federal funds.)
Roe v. Wade was passed in January 1973, so those aborted would have been 0 to 39 years old. They would have required that schools were built, roads were updated, required a larger energy grid and that at least 20 million more homes/apartments were built. They would have gotten married, had children, raised families, bought a house or rented an apartment, bought clothes, bought food, bought refrigerators, computers, cell phones, books, washers, dryers, dish washers, furniture and many more products that would have caused more factories to be built to manufacture these products and more stores to sell them in.
Now, because of Roe v. Wade, we have had over three years of recession with no sign of an end. In fact, we are looking forward to ten to twenty years of more of the same.
To fix the problem, we need to reverse Roe v. Wade and it would help to instill better morals in all our citizens. GOD is punishing us through the use of simple economics. The application of Keynesian economics IS NOT the solution!
Let’s not use the word “mandated” anymore. Obama has “dictated” what insurance companies must cover. He has “dictated” that businesses must insure their employees with government approved insurance or pay fines. He has “dictated” that we formerly free U.S. citizens must buy insurance, perverting the Constitution’s commerce clause to justify this. Obama is very tricky. On the one hand, he may have stepped over the line by attempting to force millions of Catholics and others to act against their consciences, and thus lost their votes and probably the presidency.
On the other hand, he may actually want The Catholic Church to disobey, giving him the excuse to declare martial law and, as one of the Democrats suggested, suspend elections.
We must think long and hard deciding what we will do if and when Obama comes right out and shows his true colors, when he declares himself to be dictator.
Simple enough – we remove him. And if Congress can’t bring themselves to do so, we remove them, too. There is a provision that allows for a Constitutional Convention, if necessary. The Declaration of Independence states that we are duty bound to shed ourselves of any such government. We would be within our rights as citizens to immediately should Obama, or any president, declare themselves or act as dictator, tsar, or any other authoritarian title.

Rockefeller wanted a new Constitution, and how it wss rigged in favor of the elites. Once the door is opened to changing the Constitution at a convention, the Bill of Rights could be excluded, along with other sections protecting our freedoms. The men who wrote our Constitution were very aware of the power of a king, and how those currying his favor, would act in their own best interests. They worked hard to draw up a document for the ages. When Benjamin Franklin was asked about the Constitution, he said, “We have given you a republic, if you can keep it”.

Gloom and doom scenarios regarding a Con Con are speculation, pure and simple. A new Con Con could re-affirm our Bill of Rights and rid of us the evil entitlements that have already become an inoperable cancerous tumor to our present government. The 14th Amendment requires the States’ adherence to the Bill of Rights, which was meant to protect the States and the People from the encroachment of Federal government. We are now effectively without a mechanism for those protections because of that amendment. It could be deleted and the original intent of the the Bill of Rights could be re-instated. As things stand right now, the 9th and 10th Amendments have been neutered, the 2nd Amendment is a shell of its former self, and the 1st Amendment is almost gone. The Patriot Act has ravaged the 4th Amendment. In short, the Bill of Rights are almost non-existent.
The Federal Reserve and Federal Income tax could be erased. You have to make drastic changes, and the system as is will NOT make those changes. Our Constitution hasn’t failed us. Our government has. A new Con Con would allow us to do what the Tea Party so desperately is trying to do – reinforce the original Constitution and start over with the changes that have been denied us by our present government. Term limits for Congress, the elimination of the monopoly on first class mail by the USPS, the reduction of an overbearing beaurocracy, are all things that the People and the States could bring about. Maybe you haven’t noticed, but the present government is ignoring the original Constitution. A Con Con can give us the opportunity for a necessary re-start. The People and the States have been trampled on long enough by Washington. It’s our turn to try and make things right.

There have been other leaders in history who were also foolish and who in spite of their statements to the contrary were functional atheists who by their actions denied God. Many of these leaders have gone down and died in ignominy. They never learned the lesson from history that evil eventually destroys itself, nor did these leaders ever learn that there really is a God who will ultimately judge them!

Barack Obama may have just lost the election. He has foolishly gone to war in an election year with tens of millions of Catholics, Protestants, and Jews – Democrat, Republican, and independent alike. He has thrown down a radical feminist gauntlet and dared the Church to pick it up.
They’ve picked it up.
From running up trillions in debt and deficit, to the vast expansion of the size and scope of federal bureaucracy, Mr. Obama has done more in three years to supplant our 236 year-old Constitutional Republic with a Euro-style socialist autocracy – than a lesser Marxist could have accomplished in a lifetime.
But controlling the purse strings is not nearly enough. A central element of full-blown secular-socialism is the suppression of religious liberty – principally, freedom of conscience.
Karl Marx once said: “The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.”
When Karl Marx speaks, Barack Obama listens.
In what is perhaps the most egregious executive overreach in our lifetime, the president’s Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius, has unconstitutionally decreed that both Catholic and Protestant organizations must violate fundamental tenets of the Christian faith by providing ObamaCare coverage that includes birth control, sterilization and various forms of abortion. This is as blatant a violation of the First Amendment’s guarantee to religious “free exercise” as we’ve ever seen.
Despite two pathetic feints at “compromise,” Obama’s illegal requirement that faith-based groups pay for policies providing immoral “reproductive services” remains in full force.
On Friday, the Obama administration offered its latest non-compromise “compromise.” LifeSiteNews.com reports: “The White House announced today that, instead of forcing religious employers to pay for birth control, it will force insurance companies to offer the drugs free of charge to all women, no matter where they work.”
America: this arrogant, narcissistic, amoral man thinks you’re stupid. Who do you think pays for the insurance policies that provide “free” birth control, sterilizations, and abortifacients to employees? Why, the very religious organizations doctrinally prohibited from paying for these “services” in the first place, of course.
This is nothing but a South Side Chicago shell game, dressed up as a concession. Obama’s unprecedented attack on the First Amendment continues full steam ahead.
In Dreams from My Father, Mr. Obama writes: “To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully.” It should come as little surprise that, among those carefully selected friends, he gives his “Marxist professors and the structural feminists” top billing. In fact, as we approach the 2012 general election, it has become alarmingly clear the degree to which various secular “isims” have shaped the development of Obama’s ungodly worldview.
From the moment he falsely claimed, “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation,” many have screamed from the rooftops that, despite his incongruous claims to be a Christ follower, Barack Obama, in reality, harbors tremendous animus toward all things Christian.
It’s not surprising, then, that – even prior to his latest act of anti-religious authoritarianism – a Pew Research Center survey had determined that, under Obama’s leadership, “the number of [religious] voters who identify as a Democrat has declined, while the number saying they lean toward the GOP has risen.”
Some highlights:
·White evangelical Protestant support for the GOP has grown from 65 percent in 2008 to 70 percent today;
·80 percent of Mormons now say they identify with or lean toward the Republican Party;
·White mainline Protestants, who were evenly divided between the parties in 2008, now favor the GOP by a 12-point margin;
·White non-Hispanic Catholics, who gave Democrats an eight-point advantage in 2008 now give Republicans a seven-point advantage at the end of 2011 (a remarkable 15-point swing);
·Even Jewish voters – traditionally one of the strongest Democratic constituencies – have moved noticeably in the Republican direction; Jewish voters favored the Democrats by a 52-point margin in 2008 but now prefer the Democratic Party by a significantly smaller 36-point margin.
It stands to reason that, in the wake of his most recent attack on religious freedom, Democrat’s favor with the faithful will only further erode.
Catholics especially are having none of it. Bill Donohue, president of the non-partisan Catholic League lashed out last week: “Never before; unprecedented in American history for the federal government to line up against the Roman Catholic Church.”
Ms. Sebelius first feigned compromise in the aftermath of the original announcement, haughtily granting some religious groups one year “to adapt to this new rule.”
“In effect, the president is saying we have a year to figure out how to violate our consciences,” responded Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan, archbishop of New York and president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
In the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr., many Catholic priests across the nation have vowed civil disobedience. On January 29, they read a form letter to parishioners pledging that Catholics “cannot – we will not – comply with this unjust law.”
Nor should they.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has introduced a bill called the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 2012 that would restore liberty of conscience to religious groups. Evangelical leaders are allying en masse with their kindred papist travelers.
Mathew Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, said “ObamaCare is a direct attack on the moral and religious beliefs of our nation. One year will not change religious tenets that have been in place for thousands of years. This administration has pressed its radical pro-abortion agenda on the American people and around the world … ObamaCare is an assault on our freedom.”
Dr. Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC), has said “we will not comply” with this law. He has pledged to face jail time instead: “We want the law changed, or else we’re going to write our letters from the Nashville jail, just like Dr. King wrote his from the Birmingham jail.”
This is the stuff of civil war. This is a battle Barack Obama and Democrats cannot win. He has two choices: He can either stubbornly stand firm and continue to give the GOP a tremendous election year bat with which to beat him about the head and neck; or he can cave and further cultivate the snowballing narrative that he is weak and impetuous.
Either way, the president has suffered a self-inflicted wound so deep that it may not heal before November, especially since (as evidenced by his latest illusory “accommodation”) he can’t seem to stop picking at the scab.

We need a conservative Think Tank established to counter these left leaning nitwits who are allowing Marxists, Communists and Socialists to take command of our laws through non-profits, etc. We should screen anyone who participates for extremism or unfairness. It should be stictly for Constitutional purposes, never to sway from the laws of this land. It should cover everything within the Constitution, the laws and their original purposes. We should have people who are smart enough when liberals or unreasonable conservatives make moves, to be able to evaluate in order to see how it affects what now and in the future. We have to stop them, for they have no boundaries or discipline to keep and/or enforce the laws. We should have noone in the government who is in any kind of position to steer this Republic away from what it is supposed to be. That Constitution and rights endowed by Our Creator should never be allowed to be taken off track. Those who are claiming religious freedoms are in most cases using this to wedge into and destroy the laws of this nation. They are phony and the states of this country should get in line with this because individual states are causing a drain on the finances and courts from every point. This nation needs to stand as One Nation Under God and for sure not let any man put asaunder what God has joined together. Observe states rights, but do not allow them to get off track of the Constitution. Their States’ Constitution should stictly observe our Federal Constitution and these lawyers who are using state and federal laws to twist tie up the courts should be fined for frivilous lawsuits. We need to overhall at the city, state, county and U.S. level. We should never have to endure what we are having to endure because they have infiltrated our Education Departments and hired teachers to dumb down the youth. We want our America back. We want Justice to prevail for all American citizens and those who are not citizens should apply and become citizens the right way and realize they do not have the same rights as American citizens. We need to close our borders and have quotas only for those who are proven to be in danger for their pro-American leanings, etc.
It is mindboggeling how Obama can play the role as he is trying to destroy this country. He gets up in front of Americans who voted him in office, knowing what he is doing to them. He is one evil SOB.
