It is no secret that Obama is trying to gut our military. In fact, in Aaron Klein’s just-released book Fool Me Twice: Obama’s Shocking Plans for the Next Four Years Exposed, Klein reveals that George Soros’ front group/Obama-connected Center for American Progress as recently as January 2012 published a paper describing how our military spending could be gutted in order to transform it into a peacekeeping organization (under the auspices of the UN no doubt), with the primary goals of redistributing wealth and fighting “climate change.”
Obama slapped our military in the face when it was announced that Tricare—the healthcare system for our military and their families (both active duty and retired)—was tripling the cost of benefits.
“Under the new plan, Tricare annual premiums will increase 30 percent to 78 percent in the first year. After that the plan more than triples the premium payment in five-year increases ranging from 94 percent to 345 percent. ‘According to congressional assessments,’ Free Beacon reported, ‘a retired Army colonel with a family currently paying $460 a year for health care will pay $2,048.’”
Could Obama be more brazen in slapping our the military in the face? Is there something more outrageous that he could do?
Yes.
Obama is now trying to strip our troops’ ability to vote.
Obama’s minions quietly sued the State of Ohio to nullify their early military voting statute that accommodates our troops because of deployments, etc. But bloggers have begun to shine a spotlight on the Community-Organizer-in-Chief’s perfidiousness.

On July 17th, the Obama for America Campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and the Ohio Democratic Party filed suit in OH to strike down part of that state’s law governing voting by members of the military. Their suit said that part of the law is ‘arbitrary’ with ‘no discernible rational basis.’
Of course there is a rational basis to the lawsuit; the military votes for predominately pro-military, pro-conservative candidates (i.e., Mitt Romney), and Obama wants to smother the Romney vote as much as possible.
Is there anything that this President will not stoop to steal the election in November?
Absolutely not.
Obama will stop at nothing to remain in power.
Our goal should not only be to defeat Obama in November, but defeat him prior to November—that is, impeachment.
Obama, George Soros’ Center for American Progress, and the army of Leftist groups will not give up power simply because they lost the election.
Obama has repeatedly circumvented the Constitution and Congress—“If Congress won’t act I will”—so why would we not think he would circumvent the electorate?
After Obama loses the election in November, his new refrain will be: “If the voters won’t act, I will”—translation: “I’m nullifying the election.”
This man should be impeached and shipped back to whatever country he came from.

It makes me so sick to see how he disrespects our military.He is a sissy and could NEVER measure up to our brave men and woman of the armed forces. It really saddens me when I see the way he uses them as photo ops and then when he is done w/the photo shoot he turns on them. He knows damn well MOST are not going to vote for him so he has to suppress their votes. The only way he can remain in the WH is by stealing the election. I know w/out a doubt a lot of the ballots the last time were FRAUDS. Every time i read articles like this it usually ends with,Obama needs to be impeached.I agree, But i will ask again by whom?. The Attorney General is a criminal,The dems worship the ground he Defacates on,The Unions are run by thugs,And the Republican Senators and house GOP,Will do nothing because most (not all) are cowards.Our country has been thrown under the proverbial bus. This imposter in the White House is trying to disenfranchise our military men and women. This is as low as a person can get. He has to look up to see the belly of a snake. He thinks if he can stifle the votes of the military he will have a better chance at winning the next election. These brave young men and women who are in the Uniform of our Country deserve every military service they can get, however the right and duty to vote is not given by the military, that is guaranteed by the Constitution. I say it is time for Congress to draw up articles of impeachment. This crazy, insane action on the part of Obama is not going to work. If Congress lets him get away with this then there will be mayhem.
This could be a mistake for Obama. The president still needs the military. He needs their respect and loyalty and this is not the way to earn it. It is still fresh in the minds of most in the military how he threw General McChristal under the bus who was his biggest military supporter during the 2008 campaign. His absence at the Retirement Ceremony of General Petraeus was also noticed and interpreted by some as a direct slap in the face. While visiting Europe during the 2008 campaign, he would not visit wounded troops from the Iraq War because he couldn’t take his own photographers. Instead he played basketball. We have all seen in this and similar blogs that the President is building up his own private army of hand picked people that he plans to have just as well equipped as our regular military. He calls this his Ready Reserve Force. Funding for this private army is hidden in those 2700 plus pages of Obamacare. At the same time, he is reducing the size of our active and reserve components. Why do you suppose he is doing that? Could it be that he does not trust the majority of our military to blindly and gladly follow his orders without question? Today, with the high-tech sophistication of much of their equipment, our military personnel have to be better educated and able to grasp the high-tech training they must have to do their jobs. Our Military and our young veterans today are not stupid and many of them will not be fooled by speeches and slogans and what candidates will say in debates. It is true that the younger ones have been indoctrinated by a liberal education system. The military also encourages them to seek further education, while on active duty, and also gives generous financial assistance and rewards it by faster promotions. This means that they will do a lot of reading and research on their own. Many of the ones I have talked with have said that they aren’t too inclined to take campaign rhetoric at face value. They will not vote for a candidate just because he or she is a Democrat or Republican. Those days are long over and neither party should take their votes for granted. The President still needs the military and their loyalty and respect. There are two types of respect. The easiest respect to get is for rank and position. Your people have to give you that. The respect that counts is for your leadership abilities and for you as a person. That respect can’t be demanded. It must be earned. If you don’t have that respect, your people will let you down the minute you need them the most.

I am a vet but don’t use VA health services. I am really ticked at what Obama is doing to the military, not as a vet but as a citizen concerned with the welfare of our country. This president has to go. And making servicemen pay more for their health is just so daned outrageous that, well, I can’t use those words here. Obama is bent on destroying America. One classic example I saw was a man who was being interviewed on the street about his job. He said he did not have a job and did not want a job….maybe a career but not a job. Another man said was going to vote for Obama because he wanted his check every month. It is these types of people who do not care that Obama is a homsexual Muslim Chicago thug who had three gay friends (Donald Young, Larry Bland and Nate Spencer) who were killed execution style in October 2007 just about the time Obama started campaigning. Donald Young’s Mother made some very pointed accustions concerning Obama. Obama was a member of the Down Low Club in Chicago and also frequented Man’s Country in Chicago. How could any American vote for such a low life unless this is the style of life they live????
As commander in chief, Obama is acting like a dictator that is losing his grip over the people. He has changed the rules of engagement on the battlefield that has put more soldiers lives in jeopardy. There is no definition of victory just an exit, which can be done now because the Afghans are not motivated to fight for “freedom” or “democracy” now or ever. He is now positioning the military to engage Iran and this can be a catalyst to start a major war again, also invoking martial law and suspending the elections.
This is all speculation, but he is not campaigning about his signature health program or his other “accomplishments” but attacking businesses and the wealthy. He doesn’t seem worried that he has not fixed anything or cares to fix anything, he would rather see the American people suffer and grovel for handouts. I cannot understand these pundits that seem to shift blame on the previous administration, when the current administration has spent far more and produced less. Obama knows something????
A good idea! Seeing Obama does not like our armed forces who protect America voting. Let us save all the forces some time. Let a vote be cast automatically for every member of the armed forces. Let them set it up once and it will apply at all voting sessions, unless the voter attends in person with ID and changes the vote. That would free them up from worrying about finding time or method to actually recording their vote. If Obama or Eric think their would be fraud possible, I am sure it will be much less that the number of Dead and Illegals Obamas cohorts will submit during the 2012 elections. Another alternative would be for Obama to withdraw saving them all the trouble of putting their votes in to make it happen.

Gutting of our military is nothing new. It was done after the Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI and WWII. There were several names given to WWI, of course it wasn’t called that until the late 1930s. It was referred to as The World War, The Great War or The War to End Wars. In the late 1930s up into 1941, my father and many others, who were there at the time, told about the state of our gutted out military just before WWII. Troops would train with wooden replicas of rifles, trucks with the word “TANK” painted on them and very little, if any, real equipment to train with. Fortunately for us at the time, we had two big oceans that separated us from the rest of the world. We had time after Pearl Harbor to go into production because it would take an invading force a long time to be able to reach us. If they would have reached us, it would have been very costly for the initial invaders because then most families had guns. Even then we were in very serious trouble and until the Battle of Midway we were loosing that War in the Pacific. Today we don’t have the luxury of time. If we find ourselves in another big war it will be come as you are. That means we can only count on what we have on hand at the start. The use of fast transport, nuclear missiles and numerous other technologies, would only give us fifteen minutes warning at most. Don’t kid yourselves. The republics of the former Soviet Union still have intercontinental nuclear missiles and they are still aimed at us, only not as many as they once had. They have also been selling that technology to countries like China, Iran and North Korea, to name a few, for a very substantial profit. Those countries are building up their war machines while we are dismantling ours. By doing this, The President and his followers are taking a very dangerous gamble with our lives. I hope I am wrong. But what if I am right? We have seen it many times throughout history. When History is forgotten or ignored, it tends to repeat itself. Wake up America.

Obama has no respect for the people who serve in our military and he made that clear soon after he took office in 2009 during discussions about the $540 million annual cost to the government that provides care and treatment for our troops who were injured while serving in a war zone on active duty. His solution was for the veterans private insurance provider to cover the cost of the soldiers treatment rather than the fed government. And that it should be a requirement for them to do it, not an option. Then to explain why that should be the case he said the following:
“Look, it’s an all-volunteer force,” Obama complained. “Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn’t compute.” “I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, “Obama continued, “I wasn’t asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I would have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation’s deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans.”
I don’t think most people even know he said something so stupid, downright insulting and completely disrespectful about our warriors. And it’s no surprise that the media never mentioned it again. But it is a symbol of how clueless he is about the magnitude of personal sacrifice that those individuals make so that our country can remain the Shinning City On The Hill.
What really irks me about what Obama said in the statement of his that I posted above is that the Democrat members in the senate and the congress, who served in the military themselves, never acted like it bothered them at all.
And this is the party that claims to have such respect for our veterans and are always fighting them against the Republican’s attempts at the cutting funding that was allocated to provide them proper care after they come home, to prevent employers from denying them jobs after returning from a deployment and to keep them from being deployed to fight in unnecessary wars in the first place.
