Maybe it’s me. Maybe I’m just getting old. But it seems to me that the current occupant of the Oval Office is trying cussed hard to show his “warrior” colors.
It seems every time we turn around these days there is another report on how Obama is killing US enemies. There is something just plain unseemly about all the media attention focused on the Commander-in-Chief’s war fighting activities.
OK. This ain’t my first rodeo. I understand there is a political campaign on and I also understand that the American people are loath to swap horses in the middle of the stream—especially if that stream happens to be a war.
I further understand that Obama’s campaign people are heavy-handed and are playing to the lowest common denominator in their expected electorate at the polls in November and, I suppose, the President “making war” is the way they have chosen to impress that particular set of American voters.
But, I must tell you, that for the remainder of us who pay the freight (in blood and treasure) for the military adventures of the President, we are anything but impressed!

“I understand there is a political campaign on and I also understand that the American people are loath to swap horses in the middle of the stream—especially if that stream happens to be a war.” That’s the key to how Obama restores and maintains the Public’s focus on an urgent :”common purpose” that consumes all concerns about Obama’s compitence and his otherwise necessary credentials to retain the Office of POTUS. Watch carefully how he handles diplomacy with Russia, that will provide some clues. The main element to the scenario is Obama;s is strong narcisstic personality and psyche, he will use all means to userp a second four year term. The forged Birth Certificate disclosure was a gift of retreival and “restoration” of the Republic to it;s legitimate Citizens – it was ignored and disdained (is it still availabel????)
He is using these issues to distract the people from the real story – his lack of a record; his loik of diong anything about jobs; his lack of making the economy any better; his lack of helping homeowners; his lack of working with both partiese; his lack of coming up with a budget ;etc.,. etc., etc. His total lack of leadership or bi-partisanship.
“Those who don’t tell the truth have something to hide.”
Yes, that is SO TRUE.
