CARTAGENA, Colombia – A dozen Secret Service agents with President Barack Obama at an international summit have been relieved of duty because of allegations of misconduct.
The Associated Press received an anonymous tip that the misconduct involved prostitutes in Cartagena, Colombia, the site of the Summit of the Americas. A Secret Service spokesman would neither confirm nor deny the allegation.
A U.S. official, who was not authorized to speak publicly on the matter and requested anonymity, put the number of agents at 12. The agency was not releasing the number of personnel involved.
The incident threatened to overshadow Obama’s economic and trade agenda at the summit and embarrass the U.S. The White House had no comment.

I don’t understand the problem, they let the Air Traffic Controllers sleep on the job why not the Pesidents security?
Is anyone really surprised considering the President we have?
They look like they should be in a prison inmate uniform.
It is one thing to be fired from your job for misconduct that involves your job. Drinking on duty, failure to appear where and when you are required are one thing, but private misconduct should only be corrected by counsellings, perhaps a fine and retraining, but to lose your job?
Personal use of prostitutes is no less common by those in power, so basically they are saying “Do as I say, not as I do.” My condemnation of the firings is based on the fact that private misconduct by those in power should also lose their jobs if they enforce such hypocrisy.
Or is this part of his plan to have his own “civilian army” like he spoke about which, as obama stated, would be better equipped than the military? obama cannot be trusted, period!
