The Lyndon LaRouche people have been pushing a theory for months now that President Obama should be removed from office under the 25th Amendment, on the grounds that he is losing his sanity. If they ever wanted proof, Obama delivered it at yesterday’s press conference. Obama lashed out that Republicans were “hostage-takers,” John Boehner was “a bomb thrower,” and his Democratic critics were “purist” and “sanctimonious.” When Republicans engaged in much more restrained free speech, Democrats accused them of inciting violence and tried to lay a potential assassination on their heads. Where are they now?
Although the president’s anger was obvious yesterday, his logic was not. Obama began by defending his compromise to extend the Bush tax cuts for all Americans in exchange for allowing some Americans to collect unemployment checks for three years. He argued, without his speedy action, evil Republicans would have killed tax cuts for the middle class. “I’ve said before that I felt that the middle-class tax cuts were being held hostage to the high-end tax cuts,” he said, repeating a perpetual Democratic talking point. (See video above.) “I think it’s tempting not to negotiate with hostage-takers, unless the hostage gets harmed,” he said. (Unconscious message to would-be hostage-takers: if you ever kidnap an American, hack off a hand, and we’ll talk.) He continued, “In this case, the hostage was the American people and I was not willing to see them get harmed.” Actually, in this case, the president wanted to harm a certain set of Americans — the wealthiest — by raising their taxes, and the Republicans would not allow them to be harmed.
He pivoted to trashing another familiar foe, saying, “once John Boehner is sworn in as Speaker, then he’s going to have responsibilities to govern. You can’t just stand on the sidelines and be a bomb thrower.” Obama equates the mild-mannered Congessman with the Robert Mitchum eyelids to some ’60s, fist-pumping, window-breaking radical — the kind likely to be employed in one of Obama’s campaigns or living in his neighborhood in Hyde Park.
As though he had not sufficiently demonized his opponents, Obama added he was “itching for a fight on a whole range of issues.” Daniel Howes summed up the pissed-off presser in The Detroit News by writing that Obama “talked repeatedly about ‘battles’ and ‘fights,’ as if he was Patton preparing the troops for a dash across Sicily.”
So, where are the calls for civility and moderation? Where are the hand-wringing cries of incitement and extremism from the media, civic leaders, and mainline church clergy?
When the Tea Party burst into town hall meetings on ObamaCare last September, the Democrats could not wait to accuse them of inciting violence — although Tea Partiers were more likely to become victims of SEIU thugs than to harm anyone. Then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi warned that Republicans “have to take responsibility for any incitement that they may cause,” because some of the people listening “are not as balanced as the person making the statement might assume.” She added, “I have concerns about some of the language that is being used because I saw this myself in the late ’70s in San Francisco.” Fox News reported she said this, “her voice catching in her throat,” referring to the murders of San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and homosexual politician Harvey Milk.
The implication was clear: oppose the Democrats, and you are on the slippery slope to murder. It is a tried-and-true tactic of the Left, from blaming the assassination of JFK on ultra-conservatives — although Lee Harvey Oswald was a Communist who defected to the Soviet Union — to Bill Clinton’s decision to blame the Oklahoma City bombing on Rush Limbaugh. The Left pulls it out whenever they lose on the facts — which is to say, they use it quite frequently indeed. Demonizing one’s opponents is easier than winning an argument, and it holds an additional charm for liberals: demonizing one’s opponents is possible.
We have seen the tactic take root again over the last few weeks, as the Southern Poverty Law Center branded traditional Christian ministries like Coral Ridge Ministries, the American Family Association, the Family Research Council, and Concerned Women for America as “hate groups.” Now Boehner and Mitch McConnell are the Lindbergh kidnappers.
The president lashed out like this for three reasons. He is so exceptionally thin-skinned that he can brook no dissent or criticism. His politics skew so radically Left that he is incapable of viewing the world the same way as most Americans (which is one of the reasons he is constantly trying to import new Americans). And he is fundamentally motivated by anger toward those he perceives as his enemies.
Obama is a hater. This is the same president who split a gut laughing when Wanda Sykes said she hoped Rush Limbaugh’s kidneys failed at last year’s Washington Correspondents Dinner. His continual mockery of his opponents — Michael Steele, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Nancy Reagan, etc. — lower the stature of the presidency nearly as low as the president’s reserves of honor, class, and dignity.
His political views cause him to make “analogies,” as he said during his press conference, that simply do not hold up for the average American. He compared Oklahoma Senator Dr. Tom Coburn with Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers, and Rev. Jeremiah Wright with his grandmother. He unleashed the FBI to spy on pro-life organizations, and his Department of Homeland Security released a report calling veterans, Christian conservatives, and traditional marriage advocates likely domestic terrorists.
Obama may well be cracking under pressure, but I suspect he was fully lucid and explicated his worldview as forcefully as any sane person with his outlook could. His press conference yesterday was over-the-top, irresponsible, and instructive of the depths of the radicalism that controls the most powerful man in the world.

There is Van Jones "predicting a civil war", Christians being attacked, patted down by muslims as if the Christians were responsible for terrorist attacks on American soil. Main stream media refuses to call muslim radical extremists terrorits, Obama is a muslim by his own admission. Now we have the president, the highest office in the land calling Americans 'hostage" takers and neglects our borders as we are invaded by the thousands and our lying muslim radical extremist president does nothing. Muslim training camps abound and we do nothing. The economy is near collapse, healthcare, welfare, entitlement programs are obama's way of making it so. We are losing respect among allies, muslims have more rights than Americans and obama isn't our president he is America's enemy a domestic and foreign! There is a line somewhetre in the sand and obama is nearing it. Stratagy is 1. control the press, eliminate 1st , stimey free speech and the 2nd ammendment. 2, Bankrupt America with overwhelming debt, 3. control the media the DOJ. Blame the opposition and previous administration, scream racism, 4, overwhelm our borders.
I'm astounded by my fellow Americans. These people tell them to their faces what they are going to do and what they are about, there is no reaction, none. Not even a glimmer of understanding.
Their rights and freedoms are removed and restored at the governments whim. They don't live in a sovereign nation, nor do their reps listen to them, China owns us. But everyone of them is upset that the FCC wont investigate Sarah Palin's daughter coming in third on Dances with the Stars.

How about impeaching him for giving aid and comfort to the enemy, the enemies around the orld that he has apologized to for the last 2 years.? In his mind, the real enemies are the rich, and corporations, the tea partiers, many NON-RINO Republicans, and any other American who opposes his Marxist agenda. I guess this includes me; one who is too old to give critical medical treatment to if I need it because I won't be worth the effort, and will not be valuable enough to society, although I'm worth taxing to death. I'm probably going to be a vitcim of the DEATH PANEL, so in that regard I feel like a hostage that he won't accept ransom for. I not worth anything to him or his kind. But I have worth before God. Where is my comfort and aid — one of the real hostages that he has taken through fiat law making, you know, CZARS, EXECUTIVE ORDERS? "the most powerful man in the world"…therein lies the problem. We Americans need to quit calling the President (even the good ones) the most powerful man in the world. That makes him a dictator, and he should not be. America may very well be the most powerful nation in the world, but no one man should be elevated to that position. Obama’s claims and his actions are in opposition. His claimed background and actual background are also in opposition. Although he claims to be a Christian, he celebrated Muslim Ramadan with big banquets on two separate occasions; however, on two occasions, he refused to allow a White House ceremony for the Judeo-Christian National Day of Prayer. George Soros does own the Left-Stream Media in a defacto way. He directly finances the Marxist political action committee moveon.org. Barack Hussein Obama is his puppet. I think that Soros ought to be indicted and tried for election fraud and sedition. He is a resident of the U.S. but I do not know if he was ever naturalized as a U.S. Citizen. All Americans need to push back hard against these Marxists who are trying to condition us to obey. The TSA scans and pat-downs do not target the Islamic terrorists, they taget and humiliate the rest of us. Catholic nuns do NOT blow up airplanes, Islamic terrorists DO. I do not fly because if I were ever agressively patted down and groped by one of those TSA thugs, I would likely snap, and render that TSA thug unconscious. I would see it as A: a frontal assault on my Constitutional Rights, and B: a sexual assault.

As for the TEA Party, they will be watching the 112th Congress very closely. These Congresspeople know that they have a job to do and must earn our trust. The TEA Party Caucus in the House, led by Michelle Bachmann, will be active behind the scenes. The Democrat-controlled 111th Congress is beyond hope. Many of them will be GONE in less than a month, THANK GOD!

Actually the lyndon LaRouch people should seriously look into whether obama is eligible to be Prez on grounds that he was not born in this country. Then do more than talk. Go forward with this and remove him. and put his on trial for treason.
It's worse than being ineligible from an accident of birth. He probably lost U.S. citizenship and is throwing U.S. money and contracts to foreign officials who covered up the foreign citizenship.
It's urgent that exhaustive official investigations be launched ASAP to dig out evidence for probable use in rescinding appointments of presidential electors, impeachment, 25th Amendment proceedings.and criminal prosecution, as appropriate.
State legislative and Congressional investigations to determine grounds for rescinding appointments of presidential electors and impeachment as well as action under the 25th Amendment are long overdue.
When will the people press their elected representatives to investigate the facts and take appropriate action? Crying and whining on the internet won't cut it. Yes, I'm guilty, too.

Write across your W4 that you are recinding the authorization to deduct money from your income. It would put a screeching halt to the government. The IRS can not arrest all of us, even if it were only 60% of the people. Force them to force him to prove he is a Natural Born Citizen which he is not. I say if the Supreme Court wasn't full of those that are afraid to up hold their responsibility and the OATH they took to uphold the constitution the POTUSINO would be investigated and forced by law, to show evidence that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt to the American people, that Obama is holding down the Highest office in the Land legally.
