President Barack Obama issued an executive order to end the pay freeze on federal employees, in effect giving some federal workers a raise. One federal worker now to receive a pay increase is Vice President Joe Biden.
According to disclosure forms, Biden made a cool $225,521 last year. After the pay increase, he’ll now make $231,900 per year.
Members of Congress, from the House and Senate, also will receive a little bump, as their annual salary will go from $174,000 to 174,900. Leadership in Congress, including the speaker of the House, will likewise get an increase.

So Obama is just basically giving us the finger! Everybody knows that federal employees already make more than private sector employees and that their pay comes out of our pockets. It takes the profit-making activities of 5 private sector employees to generate enough taxable profit to support a single Govt. employee…there are over 4-million federal employees, so over 20-million private sector employees are required to generate the taxable profit for just the federal work force alone, and this doesn’t include any other budget items. This means Govt. is consuming a substantial portion of the real GDP already being produced by (us) this country, and recycling tax money back into the economy does not provide real growth at all.
You are right on. We are no longer a government of the people for the people, we are a hostage society that has been kidnapped by the political class because of reckless indifference, growing ignorance, and subterfuge. The politicos of both parties openly rub it in our face that the Constitution is dead, and grossly so since 2008, when they installed the biggest fraud in the most mammoth fraud in history and it has been all down hill ever since, well actually we were sliding into the abyss before , but not at the current accelerated rate. Both parties are working at an accelerated rate to destroy our God given rights, note the just passed by-pass to the probable cause and warrant requirements joined by both parties of frauds, a clear violation of the Constitution and bill of rights. Expect like violation of the second amendment within months! The precedent is that we the federal government will decide your rights and give and take them as we see fit! Their is no Constitution if there is NO CONSTITUTION! Currently these public enemies are using the excuse of some terrorist threat to by-pass your rights. I say they, the in power federal; government to include the Constitution violating CJ of the SCOTUS , are the main threat to this nation and are already guilty of treason against the people, and that there only interest is self interest!

None of them deserve a raise because they sit on their ass, get mad and walk out and won’t work with the other party and Obama goes on 4 million dollar vacations. The judges and Supreme court judges get big raises also all the while the country has the biggest debt it has ever had and it is all on Obama. The Bushs only had a 4.5 increase in the debt but look at Obama and people want to say the debt was caused by the Buses. If they would do some checking they would see Obama has put us into the biggest debt this country ever had and Clinton left with excess money no huge debt. I think we should FORCE the Federal Gov. to pass a FLAT-TAX, that way the 48% of Americans that are NOT paying there TAXES will have no way of getting out of paying there taxes. It will be taken care of right there at the register when they buy something. And to save BILLIONS more in taxes get rid of the IRS, there would be no need for them with a FLAT-TAX….

Nonsense, nothing is free and that includes freedom! The problem is we are paying for things that are not Constitutional and that only a few of us are really paying anything after the government gravy train redistributes our hard earned wealth to the mooches to buy their unearned votes. EVERYONE should pay the same share to support the nation which should be limited to its Constitutional role! What the hell do they need a raise for, they haven’t done their jobs for the last 4 years? They stopped representing the people a long time ago and they daily violate their oaths of office.
Exactly right with regards to the branches of the federal government! Further the rank and file federal workers already are paid more than equivalent private sector workers that earn their pay and then must pay the totally inefficient trough feeders from what they have earned.
Fire 90% if not more of all federal workers, including military personel. Don’t settle for anything less.
