(CNSNews.com) — The last time President Barack Obama appeared on ABC’s “The View” prior to the appearance he will make today with First Lady Michelle Obama, he complained that “we shouldn’t be campaigning all the time.”

“I volunteered for this job, and politics is not bean bag. Politics is a contact sport and you expect people going at you,” Obama told The View’s co-hosts in a July 28, 2010 appearance on the program.
