Obama Official Linked To Racially Charged Boycott Of Glenn Beck

Barack Obama between flags SC Obama Official Linked to Racially Charged Boycott of Glenn Beck

A racially charged activist group called “Color of Change” founded by Van Jones, a special advisor to the Obama Administration, is trying to silence popular radio and Fox News personality Glenn Beck by calling for a boycott of Beck’s TV advertisers.

On July 28th, Beck made a comment on the Fox & Friends morning show about Obama’s reaction to the arrest of Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. During the discussion of “Professor-Gate,” Beck connected the President’s past association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright to Obama’s comment that Cambridge police officer, Sgt. James Crowley, acted stupidly.  Though Beck acknowledged most of the Obama administration is in fact white, he concluded that the President’s world experience made him a “racist.”

Now “Color of Change” has bullied at least five of Beck’s big advertisers — SC Johnson, Progressive Insurance, Geico, Procter & Gamble and Nexus Lexis — to pull their ads from Beck’s national cable program.  Jones, the founder of “Color of Change,” was named Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality — a key administrative post — this past March.

  1. Obama must be very insecure! Glenn gave just as much heat to President Bush but Bush didn't turn to dirty tactacts. So "Color of Change" has bullied five of Becks big advertisers to pull the plug??? I will now email all of my friends not to buy from the five who let Obama bullied them to dropping his show as sponcors.

  2. Glenn! Let 's wait and see! These so call big advertisers" will need to make the line now! You will be so popular that even their millions wont make it to your free time!

  3. I'm not a fan or an opponent of Mr. Beck. He's good sometimes, not so good other times. This stupid racist bit is among the latter. A stupid comment; not gonna get him anywhere but trouble. Stick to positive moves: promote the freedom message, cast light on the reality of TEA Parties, interrogate the politicians, but keep away from the attacks that Fox has become (in)famous for.

    • If it wasn't for Beck we in Oregon would'nt know the filth of this administration. I almost purchased Geico insurance, Am so glad I didn't. We will boycott all five of these companies. Am so sick of all this liberal crap. Get this idiot and all his idiots out of DC. Send them back to Chicago.

What are you, nuts? When did you ever see a racist comment on FOX. It's people like you who are duped by the fascist, socialist, communist party that is running this country into the ground. I can't believe I went to war, and lost part of my body for this stupidity, that the dumbo's go along with.

  4. Gee, I use many of the selected advertisers, been with Geico with 9 vehicles, for over 20 years and all they will see is my backside should any part of the boycot go into effect. Perhaps those advertisers better think first. Come on, America, boycott the Media and those that are against freedom and the Constitution.

  5. Devil Dog says:

The only reason, the jackass, van jones is coming after Beck, is because Beck outed him as a communist with FACTUAL videos, commenting on the communist party, and he lost his job at the administration, only to be put back in there with fascist, social, communist dictator, oguana. I call on a boycot of nbc, cbs, and abc sponsors. Let's face it, THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!

  6. Since Beck is off TV, I guess the boycott worked.

  7. Now we know why the lefties were so DESPERATE to get Glen Beck off of TV – he was letting people know what their TRUE agenda was, and they were scurrying for the darkness, just like so many rats !

Van Jones is an acknowledged Communist – and Valerie Jarrett said that she and Pres. Obama had been “watching him for years, and admiring what he had been doing out in California.”

Just WHAT did they admire about a Communist agitator and community organizer ?
