Tonight, Barack Obama will host ten House Democrats who voted against the health care bill in November at the White House; he’s obviously trying to persuade them to switch their votes to yes. One of the ten is Jim Matheson of Utah. The White House just sent out a press release announcing that today President Obama nominated Matheson’s brother Scott M. Matheson, Jr. to the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
“Scott Matheson is a distinguished candidate for the Tenth Circuit court,” President Obama said. “Both his legal and academic credentials are impressive and his commitment to judicial integrity is unwavering. I am honored to nominate this lifelong Utahn to the federal bench.”
So, Scott Matheson appears to have the credentials to be a judge, but was his nomination used to buy off his brother’s vote?
The timing of this nomination looks suspicious, especially in light of Democratic Congressman Joe Sestak’s claim that he was offered a federal job not to run against Arlen Specter in the Pennsylvania primary. Many speculated that Sestak, a former admiral, was offered the Secretary of the Navy job.

That living in NY is having no voice against Obamas' agenda is not just a disadvantage it is an outrage. Couple that with the disgusting form of politics afoot in DC and there is ample reason to simply save up for the opportunity to put an end to the tyrants ability to further destroy our chances of securing our remaining liberties. I have no doubt this legislation will be passed and headed for the courts while the administration moves on to the next assault on America. Taken in it's entirety, the move to end our national sovereignty, end our rights to property and individual security are reason to be very alarmed. History shows these moves to precede despotism whether the claimed intent is otherwise or not. The plain fact that governments are made of people seeking more and more power over time can not be argued. That these people have never been immune from depraved indifference when threatened economically or by popular dissent is also a fact history bears out with great clarity. That we should be thrown to decades of court battles to secure what was once won by blood has only one purpose, to delay while a tactical advantage can be gained. Like so many I watch, wait and shake my head in disbelief.

One more huge mistake is to trust Holder…Period. These people are sooo corrupt I can`t find the words to describe the depth…you can send Holder pile after pile of request…in the trash they go.The sad part is that our So Called Leaders are so useless they will allow Holder,and,or,anyone in this White House to tell them to go away,and they go away…..SORRY they are.
