Two-hundred and thirty six years ago, a new country “conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal”* was born. Men and women seeking religious and economic freedom from an increasingly perverse, suppressive and feudal Europe sailed to ‘the New World’ which would later become the United States of America. Most began to occupy this fresh and promising land in the 1600s. However, some intrepid souls began their journey into and through portions of North America much earlier. Such was the case of my ancestors who arrived on the shores of this new land in the 1500s. They were part of the original founding of this once extraordinary country and eagerly participated in and watched it being built. I morosely am now observing its end.
Over the many years it took to establish viable colonies in this New World, many experimental governments were attempted, including the one that we now call Socialism or Communism. Over a relatively short period of time, the colonists discover that it did not and could not work. Those who labored the most were given the same portion as those who did little to nothing. Therefore, the true workers and entrepreneurs of the time were not truly recompensed for their labors, while the non-working groups continued to live off of the fruits of others” successes…as if they were their own.
Suffice it to say, this was untenable and a form of free enterprise began to percolate and appear. This was a system which rewarded those who worked and we eventually called it Capitalism…a structure that would imbue all participants with economic freedom as long as they worked for and participated in it.
For well over 200 years that economic freedom coupled with the freedom to worship God allowed We-the-People to build, prosper, enjoy the fruits of our labors and share our bounty with others around the world as no other nation in the history of mankind had done before.
However, on 6 November 2012 that all came crashing down. The Islamo-Marxist “President” of the United States of America Barack Hussein Obama was elected to another 4 years in office. I had hoped and fervently prayed that the prophetic words in my column ‘Is the USA Ready for an American Stalin?’ written in 2008 “if Obama is elected we will never be able to get rid of him” were not true. But, they were and are.

I agree….. At about 1am of Nov 7, 2012 America, my America, died.
Years will be needed for the takers to scavenge our wealth from its carcass,
But when it is done, America will be just another savage society.
At this point we might as well all contact our representatives and urge them all to rename our country to one which is more fitting of it. It should be “THE UNITED SOCIALIST STATES OF AMERICA”.
We once were proud, and then came Obama.
Yes, our America is dead. But we are not beat. Only if we continue to play nice and allow him to lead us like sheep. Stand up for your beliefs. If a terrorist is a terrorist, call it as such. If an illegal, is illegal, call them as such. If we allow him to “dictate” to us, we are helping to create the Dictator. I suppose calling a spade a spade is no longer PC either. That phrase never seemed to bother anyone before, so why should it now? He is not our “master”. He is just the fraudulent enemy that occupies the title of President. You can still honor the title, but there is nowhere that states you have to honor a lying, deceitful, pos, that pretends to be something he is NOT!

FOX news reported on the source on nobummers votes… his strength….blacks, latinos, singer women and under 30 ( actually they used 18-29).
Romney fingered the TAKERS but he left out the left wing socialist commies and power mongers….altogether they add up to more than 50%.

Our elected officials have allowed the ‘entitlement mentality’ to overtake our country..No one wants to work if they can get something for ‘free’…not realizing that someone had to work to pay for their ‘free’. We have been a ‘me’ society for the last 20+ years..self gratification is the utmost thought in most people’s mind. Until we, once again, become a country of patriots, instead of a country of government slaves for freebies, we will continue this downward spiral….I fear for the young people of this generation that will suffer because of a government that is making them slaves…
Seems most illegals, lazy people, Dead people, and non Americans have more of a vote then Honest hard working Americans.. It seems to me they would rather have a Liar, Deciever, corrupt politicans then Honest, truthful hard working Americans running our country handing out free stuff even if the sad part is there are hard working Americans working their butts off so this government can give them free stuff. We have NOT lost our country, Nor will we but we have to stand stronger then ever before…. God Bless America

Last night, when I heard the announcement, I felt like a member of my family had died and I have grieved the death of my country all day.. I can not understand the mentality of the democrats. If the people on welfare only had realized, mitt romney is the only one who could keep their welfare checks coming. I shudder when I hear that Immigration reform must be passed. How many more will he give amnesty and citizenship? they talk about taxing the rich. they pay plenty, already. When I, a little old housewife can figure out how to save our country, why can they not. why dont they love our country. why is our government so set on ruining our country. the media must all be communists. what can we do? What can we as individuals, do except pray.
My husband and I prayed every night for our country, Israel, our soldiers, and the coal miners.
If they would adopt mitt romneys plan, perhaps we could be saved. when we completely run out of our money, a lot of churches will again have the benches full. we pray to God when we need Him and forget Him, when He has helped us. I hope He hasnt forgotten us.
It`s all about power where the wants of the few outweight the needs of the many.. If the government quits getting tax money from the many and the government has no income. Can`t give away what they don`t have and can`t borrow..

I find that this election pointed out the results fhat our country was headed in for the last 20+ years. Back in the 50s we had the Macarthy era that searched out communists. In the 40s we had the FBI searching out communists, Nazis, subversive organizations, people sabatoging industries supplying military items, labor strikes (not necessarily started by the unions) to hamper war efforts. Yes, we made mistakes such as rounding up the Japanese Americans that were actually loyal citizens. I find that the education system promotes liberal thinking (under the name of being progressive) that the school system knows how to teach our children personal values better than the parents. We have some wonderful teachers in our schools but their hands are tied. In fact I have (2) daughters and a grand-daughter that are teachers. Laws against prayer, saying the pledge of allegiance, anything about God in our schools, court rooms and elsewhere are radical laws. Our Constitution doesn’t free us “from” religion but give us the right to belive or not belive as long as it does not interfere with the other person’s rights. We also have become apathetic and I fear that this election’s results will cause some to “give up” fighting this attitude. If we see an injustice being done at a polling place (such as the Black Panther intimidation, Obama’s mural on the wall, etc.) we need to point it out to our election officials and law enforcement officials to have it corrected right then rather than thinking that “someone shoud do something” about this. We need to get involved. I am thinking of the various posts on FB about impeachment of the President about the Benghazi disaster and term limits. When we have a welfare system that promotes illegals coming to our country to take advantage of the system, I don’t blame the illegals. They are just using the system that we have in place and we are not enforcing our existing immigration laws. We are being asked to give up our 2nd ammendment rights. If this is repealed only the criminals will have guns. I don’t see the advantage in this idea. I have had individuals that tried to rob and beat me that changed their mind upon noticing that they had tried it with the wrong person. Don’t give up, pray, don’t worry about being politically correct, love your neighbor as yourself no matter his color or religion. Take personal responsibility for your actions and for the people around you. Don’t blame the Mexican drug cartels for the drug problems here in the U.S. – QUIT SUPPLYING A MARKET FOR THEM. God Bless the USA and we that are still trying.

I PRAY that he feels the pain of 57,000,000+ voters who tried to save America
…and that he acts quickly to save America..
We can only watch and observe the results of this election until the next election cycle. If we refuse to vote for any incumbent (Republican, Democrat or Independent) at the next election and repeat this during the next (6) years we will end up with all new House of Representatives, Senators, Presidents, Governors, Sheriffs, Mayors, Councilmen, etc. At that time, we the people, would only be stuck with the Supreme Court and work at getting America back. The problem with this idea is that each of us has “favorite sons” we continue to vote for time and time again. I’m thinking of the examples of California’s Boxer, Feinstein, Pelosi and Gov. Jerry Brown. Other examples of favorite sons is Nevada’s Harry Reid and our VP Mr. Biden. If we really want change we need to vote for new people and quit worrying about impeachment, term limits but be willing to personally get involved in the political process starting with the street we live on and the city we live in.
