A federal judge in California today listened to government lawyers argue that a lawsuit over President Obama’s eligibility should be immediately dismissed but refused to grant their request, saying he would make his decision and announce it later.
The result came this morning from U.S. District Judge David Carter, who already has set a tentative trial date for the dispute Jan. 26, 2010. The judge also already had lawyers draw up a tentative schedule for hearings and deadlines in preparation for the trial.
WND previously reported on plans for the hearing handled by attorneys Orly Taitz and Gary Kreep, each representing separate clients.
The lawsuit was brought by several political candidates and party officials, including former U.S. ambassador Alan Keyes and Wiley Drake and Markham Robinson of the American Independent Party.

Praise the Lord and Judge David Carter, also. This is the best news I have heard on this subject for almost a year and makes all the petitions and donations I've signed and made seem worthwhile. I only hope that the good Judge will not be badgered by the Dept of Justice or any other leftwing obstructionists. Let's get to bottom of this issue, once and for all. Let the judge know that concerned American's support him 100%.
Let us pray that Judge Carter is legit and this isn't just a stall. Barry and thugs have a lot of power and aim to use it. We need a lot of prayer right now and we need it before Barry destroys this country.

Thank God for Judge David Carter, and protect him from the morally corrupt in government who will try to change his mind. Let us see this through together no matter what it costs the country. Without the laws of the land we have nothing.
I would hope that the evidence presented, the plaintiffs, the heavy hitters on the other side and the amount of money this "usurper" has spent defending his right to hide things normal Americans must present to do most ordinary things in life would be enough to make a definitive judgement call…but apparently not. I think prayer is the only answer now…for truth, for protection of those patriots willing to put themselves out there….to ridicule, to fear of retribution and possibly bodily harm. My prayers are with them…may they prevail.

I went to this hearing. The hearing and trial dates were set at a prior hearing. This article is giving false hope where, I hate to say, there is little. The judge clearly let everyone know these cases face a stiff row to hoe when it comes to "standing." I went to the previous hearing also, and left that hearing much more optimistic than I was leaving the hearing yesterday. The Oct 5th hearing left me depressed when I actually heard Judge Carter utter the words, "I don't think this government is corrupt."
Since my dad told me to never count your chickens before they hatch and my mom told me not to place all my eggs in one basket, I have to say it will do no good to do anything other than prepare for the worst and hope for the best and while you are contemplating the outcome of the last best hope for justice you ought to be contemplating what the purpose of preparations are should hope fail.
Don't lose sight of the fact that Obama did not rise to power in Chicago and steal the election without tremendous financial backing and with a much larger plan in effect. The federal reserve, world bank, bilderbergers, illuminati what ever you wish to call them are behind him and have been working toward world domination since long before he was born. Read "None dare call it conspiracy" from early '70s and/or Web of Debt etc. In all matters, to determine what is really going on, just follow the money. It isn't over until it's over. I will continue to pray for Judge Carter and his infinite wisdom. I am sure he realizes he is the only person at this most important time in our country's history who has the power to do anything to help her. Perhaps he will find the "standing" necessary by way of the "injury" suffered by the other candidates who were on the ballot in this election. It should not be up to the defense to decide who would have been elected had Obama not been on the ballot. We must be prepared for a long fight in either case, because most assuredly there will be appeals, no matter what Judge Carter's ruling is. The Department of Justice knows how to drag a case out to infinity. Though Judge Carter is a no-nonsense Judge, there will be pressures on him that few have felt. He is an ex-marine, and recipient of the Purple Heart, and loves his country. I pray for his continued strength and safety, and pray he finds a way to protect and save this Democratic Republic. The article includes what is alleged to be Obama's REAL, ORIGINAL, "KENYA" birth certificate from the Coast General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya. The date of birth is listed as "4th day of AUGUST, 1961"; that IS Obama's birthdate.
I am amazed at the Americans that fell for this idiot's promises of change, he had change in mind and I hope that at least some of the people that voted for him see that the change he promised had nothing good to do with America. He has only had one thing in mind from day one and that is to destroy America as we know it.

Hey, I have been reseaching this and supporting the people involved for a long time, but let's not jump to conclusions here. As I understand it the discovery has not started and the judge has not said if he has accepted or rejected the motion to dismiss yet. I want to get to the real truth (whatever that may be) as much as the next guy, but let's not put the cart before the horse here.
i pray judge carter has faith. he is wrong when he says that he doesn't think this government is corrupt. i will pray for judge carter that he will follow the law and force obama to deliver his real original birth certificate. God is in control and we as christians know this. let us pray for judge carter and our rights to know the truth.
