Maybe somebody should call Father Jenkins at Notre Dame and ask him to teach his pal Barack a bit about the religious doctrines Obama professes to believe.
Last Wednesday at a White House Prayer Breakfast Barack Obama took his plan to redesign Christian doctrine up a notch. To the stunned amazement of onlookers Obama the Muslim trained and educated president challenged the divinity of Jesus Christ. Of course he thought he was clever with his sop to Islam and his “finger in the eye” pronouncement, but his remarks leave no doubt about his continuing hostility toward the biggest obstacle to Islam’s world domination: Roman Catholicism.
Comparing himself to Jesus Christ, Obama told his audience, “For like us, Jesus knew doubt. Like us, Jesus knew fear. In the garden of Gethsemane, with attackers closing in around him, Jesus told His disciples, ‘my soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. We all have experiences that shake our faith. There are times where we have questions for God’s plan relative to us. But that’s precisely when we should remember Christ’s own doubts and eventually his own triumph.”
A professor of theology at a Catholic – Catholic university (as opposed to the fake “Catholic” universities) commented on Obama’s remarks saying, “My question is what would He be doubting? Would He be doubting the Father’s care and merciful love? Is He doubting the value of his mission? I don’t think there is any real context that I could understand to say Jesus doubted.”
Keeping in mind that Muslims don’t believe Jesus was divine makes sense of these remarks. Obama was obviously projecting his own “doubts” about who Jesus was and not complimenting Jesus.
An associate professor of biblical studies at a Baptist Seminary said he too believes Barack Hussein Obama was wrong by ascribing doubt to Jesus. He pointed out that the Bible does not say Jesus who is God had any doubts. But why would Obama know that?
Given the warm welcome Obama received when he spoke at a Notre Dame commencement ceremony in 2009 maybe his friend at Our Lady’s University Father John Jenkins ought to coach him a bit. Then maybe he can give Obama an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree at this year’s commencement.

The only thing that I take issue with in this article is the author’s conflation of Roman Catholicism with the larger body of Christ, which includes Protestant believers too. Yes, the Roman church is arguably the single biggest denomination other than the Baptists, but as a Protestant I am keen to attempts by the Roman hierarchy to characterize itself as the ‘only’ or the ‘sole legitimate’ representative of Christianity. I do not bow to the Pope, or pray to Mary (or any other deceased Christian soul). The Catholic church initiated *The Inquisition* to eliminate the first Protestants, which in turn ushered in the Dark Ages. Later, Catholics intent on imposing Catholic rule on Protestant Irish began the time of trouble from the 1970′s to the 1990′s that was dominated by IRA terrorism. Indeed, the IRA’s mission was exactly that, and to kill any/all Protestants who dissented. That object was in keeping with the medieval Jesuit blood oath, and the systematic slaughter of all who did not demonstrate sufficient ‘loyalty’ to the Pope.
LONG before Islamic terrorism, there was Catholic terrorism. The euphemism “Kill em all, and let God sort them out” comes from a Papist military commander’s order to slaughter an entire besieged city. In his explanation of the order, he claimed that ‘God will know His own’; meaning innocent Catholics caught up in the slaughter. The Roman Church also claims to never change.
Finally, Vatican insider Malachi Martin divulged the fact that the Papacy is seeking to wrest control of the New World Order from the plutocratic global elites. This plan is referenced in the book, “The Keys of This Blood”.
What I don’t understand is why people get so pissed about Obama and his brain farts; the man is a tool. Literally, he’s a tool!! …of the globalist elites (i.e., Bilderberg).
If you too are opposed to the new world police state, there’s an answer and that’s to vote for a pro-liberty, constitutionally obedient statesman such as Ron Paul, or whomever is still standing come November. This of course assumes that the selfsame global elites haven’t already hijacked our electoral process as some people already claim (a.k.a. “Black Box Voting”). Suddenly joining a militia doesn’t seem so far-out.

I appreciate our opinion, but find some of it troubling. We don’t have a lot of time to fix the mess we’re in. Fixing it starts with replacing Obama. I admire your loyalty to Ron Paul, as I am loyal to Newt Gingrich. But I can see the writing on the wall, and unless there is a huge change of events, Mitt Romney will be the Republican candidate. So I’ve had to face the fact that my choice will be Mitt or Obama. Lets be serious for a minute, too. Ron Paul running as a 3rd party candidate is counter productive. He has less of a chance than a snowball in hell to actually get elected, and by running, he may well put Obama into office. We can’t afford to let that happen.
You’re really going to have two legitimate choices – Mitt Romney or Barak Obama. We saw what happens when you sit the election out in 2008, when droves of conservatives stayed at home. We saw what happes when a 3rd party candidate runs – by getting Bill Clinton with way under 50% – twice!!! So lets not do something that will end our children’s chance to inherit the people of the Earth’s hope. We need to make sure that Obama doesn’t win.
Patriot, you are right in that a third party candidate would hurt the Republican chances to uproot Obama but I am concerned about the candidates that we have to choose from. Gingrich is too much for the rich (he would remind people of Bush), Paul may be a good choice but his problem is the same as Perry’s…..he is great until he talks. Sandoval is not good cause he would let illegals into the country. Romney is the worst choice. He would 1) replace ObamaCare with RomneyCare which does not work in Massachusetts (being from CT I talk to a lot of peeps in Mass), and 2) he would take our gun rights from us (he tried it in Mass). He also is rich, therefore he will be for big business. But Obama will declare Martial Law before the election or just after it if he loses.
Let’s remember as well that either candidate will foist the ‘one world’ agenda on America, regardless, guys.
I say that because I’ve done my ‘internet research’ and lived in SLC for 15 years – so, I guess that’s pretty direct experience when combined with the Word of GOD.

Well said, Patriot. You’ve shown ‘Godly wisdom’ in your words, and I very much appreciate them.
My suggestion is that we all maintain a good distance between ‘what we are seeing’ & ‘how we feel’ and rather – center on what the Word of GOD says. I’m not suggesting that we keep our noses in the Book while we drive or are in public discourse – but, keeping to regular reading (I’m in Isaiah now and he REALLY talks about what’s going on today) whenever we’re able – will give us a Spiritual Heads-Up on what’s coming down the pike and will enable you guys to really STAND (on the Rock, as it were) rather than being reduced to our normal earthly reasoning.
I believe THAT KEY is what makes a Statesman and we really need STATESMEN at this time.
I say that because you seem to think that ‘voting’ will get us outta this mess – and I point you to the simple fact that our voting system has been shown (‘ad nausium’) to be a FARCE for well over 100 years, at this point.
My last suggestion is that all of you who read this get to Dean Gotcher’s web site: Authority Research.com and listen to just one or two of his ‘talks’ – for he has taken the time (over the past 30 years) to research exactly what we’re up against – he’s read all the ‘training manuals’ of this insidious foe – and gives clear, concise direction as to how to proceed. If more MEN of courage do what Gotcher suggests – we’ll not only have a renewed country – but, we’ll get back to having decent lives.

Actually the “old saying” you refer to is a quote attributed to Abraham Lincoln which is suited to the taciturn precisely stated as: “It is best to keep silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.” So it is with LVKen7. Obots are helpless fools of which there is no shortage. Unfortunately the rest of us have to live with the mess such fools make of our government with their voting privileges especially when there is a prohibition on voting ID laws which allows them to vote as many times as they like wherever they like.
While I can’t with any assurance say what is in Obama’s heart, only God can know that, I think its a safe bet that as a Muslim he is anti-America, anti-Christian, anti-Israel, a supporter of radical Islam as in the Muslim Brotherhood, a deceitful usurper, a Marxist and basically a nobody from nowhere who is more qualified to be a member of the WH kitchen staff than the POTUS even though from the strict standpoint of the law he is probably not legal to pick tomatoes or clean bathrooms in America, who without the race card and a cooperative media to play it relentlessly on his behalf would still be a despised member of the Chicago University instructor staff (not a professor of law as he falsely claims) where he would be just as much unknown as he is now. The only difference? He now plays more golf, takes more vacations and rides around in Air Force One like it’s his personal royal coach than would be the case if he were still employed as an adjunct professor, aka supplemental instructor, which the Chicago University Administration was told to hire.
In sum, BHO is about as useless as teats on a boar hog. But so are the liars and cowards who pose as our representatives in Congress who are as equal to blame for bringing us Obama as are fools like LVKen7. It now appears that sheriff Joe has stumbled on to the truth that Bill and Hillary received what they considered to be a viable death threat against their daughter, Chelsea which forced Bill to clam up on the issue of BHO’s constitutional eligibility.
BHO’s arrogance knows no limits given his pulling from thin air the unbiblical charge that Jesus Christ, God incarnate, had doubts one way or the other about anything. Discern the spirits. If you really believe Obama is a Christian, let alone a Believer, you have not the power within you with which to discern the spirit. To say one is a Christian does necessitate that one is Believer.
Christ said it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Did this actually mean a needle as in sewing needle or similar object. If this be so then no man, who is rich can attain the kingdom of heaven. The needle was made in reference to a gate built into the wall of the city of Jerusalem, known as the Needle Gate. The gate had an upper part and lower part. The upper part was closed while the lower part remained open. When traders and merchants arrived at the city with trade goods during the hours of darkness or when the gates were customarily closed they could enter only through the Needle Gate. To get a camel into the city the load had to be removed and the camel brought to its knees. The height was not sufficient for a camel to walk through.
If you cannot see through the ruse and guise of Barack Obama, you need to humble yourself and seek God that you may be given to you the power of discernment. I am one who believes both parties are problematic, though I am Republican. I keep hoping the Republicans will show themselves to be more moral, ethical, etc. But at this point, the main objective is to unseat the usurper, Obama. Getting a more ethical government is something that will take time, but we can work on it.

The author did not say Obama is a Muslim. He said he was “Muslim trained and educated”. He claims to be Christian. I can’t say I know his heart, but I do know something about his actions. They are not what I’d expect from most Christians – especially in relation the Islamic world. However, in general, he is an anti-colonialist like most of the non-European/non-North American world. His actions could easily be misinterpreted in that light. His belief is that the nations in Europe and the United States, and to a large extent, even Israel, have done great evil to “people of color”, and that those of us fit into his understanding of what a colonialist is, (ie. white people) need to be punished.
Look, I’m not an Obama fan, but I have to give him the benefit of a doubt when he is attacked unjustly. I forgot about this. I was raised as Episcopalian. The church I was raised in taught that Jesus’ words on the cross as evidence of his doubts. Do you remember what they were? Roughly paraphraised, I remember them as, “My God, My God, Why have you forsaken me?”
What would you think those words mean?
It is not unreasonable to consider those words as His being in doubt, but that is a matter for theologians.

It seems to me that one of the fundamentals of Christianity is to strive to be like Jesus. To consider his statements criminal sounds an awful lot like what I hear from Islamists, were someone to compare themselves to Mohammed.
I don’t like Obama. I am concerned about where he is taking this country. But I also think that attacking his religion is being no better than what many of us feel he is doing to us. We need to oppose him because of his policies, the speeches where we know he lies, because we believe he is a usurper who has not passed the requirements to be President, and is therefore not elegible to be in the highest office in the land. I can understand that you don’t believe him to be Christian. But expressing it this way? It may be a bit much.

First for the important thing. Yes. Snideley Whiplash. I just didn’t get the spelling right. I used to have a 14 inch (tip-to-tip) moustache – sometimes worn in whiplash style, but often curled around at the ends. But when you come right down to it, it was usually more like Yosemite Sam’s. It is a long tale, and sometime if I ever can msg u directly instead of through this public forum I’ll give you how it came to pass that my moustache was removed. I now have one again, but it is not so long as it used to be.
Now, as far as your ramblings are concerned, I have no problem following what you’re saying. No worries. Speaking from the heart – as inspired – may deliver a different message than staying on-topic, but sometimes it is the more important one. The only suggestion I’d make is that you learn to control it some, rather than it controlling you, so you can deliver a clear, concise point that others might actually read all the way through. I also have something of a tendancy to let the Spirit take control of my keyboard, and at other times, it is just my mind. But when I ramble, I know others will not take the time to read it. I often won’t either.

As for what he has done for the middle class, that too is “takiyya.” He has put millions of them out of work and they have lost their houses, etc. And, the debt burden he has put on their kids, grand kids and their grand kids is horrific! Every child born into this country owes around $42K the day they are born for the debt we now have, and a lot more for the unfunded liabilities for government retirees health care, pensions, and a host of other obligations.
Our country has been printing money by the truck load instead of producing the goods and providing the services that makes an economy grow and the people prosperous. Our government under Obama has shifted production overseas by making it difficult to produce anything here because of over-regulation.
I fear that when the printing presses have worn out that the government will make serfs of us all so that we can feed and clothe ourselves. Not a pretty thought, but a logical outcome of the foolishness I see going on.

But he is raising a point that has been discussed by theologians and philosophers for centuries. We won’t know what the right interpretation is until it is too late to do anything about it, and though nothing would please me more than to disagree with him, in this case I think we all need to lighten it up and not be so critical. He’s moved forward. He never used to participate in the prayer breakfast. This is a good thing.

TWO PATHS TO FOLLOW
Two paths to follow – both so unclear
Two voices inside me – yet neither come near
Two lives to follow – one, I must lose
GOD, guide me slowly – toward which I shall choose
THAT is the ‘human condition’ crying out for an ABBA’s ‘direction’, my friends. We all come here ‘pre-packaged’ as it were – with sin’s baggage, BUT – if we just ‘turn’ for one single moment – from our willfulness (even homosexuals, for – I have MANY friends who were hurting like that, and it’s just willfulness ‘to the extreme’) and look to Jesus – the GOD/GUY who saves us and LOVES US – He will EMBRACE US and FREE US from all bondage…even…the bondage from our own self-serving wills.
He’s truly – AMAZING GRACE, to have saved ‘this’ wretch, like me – so, He’d forgive each of you – of that – I am certain. (even Barry, even THE most evil of evil one – for, HE reached out and saved me and I was dangling over the pit of hell – when HE did.

Jesus was perfect…in every way; HE MADE NO MISTAKES AND HAD NO DOUBTS where saving us from ourselves and sin were concerned! Jesus was perfect…for what? at what? with what?
Could you quote me chapter and verse where the Bible says He made no mistakes and had no doubts? I accept that He was without sin, but I find no biblical reference that says either that He made no mistakes or that He had no doubts. It would be nice to know where it says what you’re so emphatic about.
He was the perfect and holy sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.
That includes Obama.
To answer your question with a question: is GOD almighty perfect? Yes, HE is. Was Jesus GOD incarnate, GOD come to earth as mortal man to live among us? Again, Yes, HE was. Because of the Trinity, GOD the Father, Jesus is GOD, and the Holy Spirit are all one and the same, I conclude Jesus is/was perfect.

The bible tells us that Jesus was the perfect, Holy and Living Sacrifice for the whole world. He was the perfect sacrifice. It doesn’t say he never had doubts. It doesn’t say he never disagreed with the Father. It never said he was without fault. It says that he was a perfect sacrifice.
Perfection makes no sense without knowing what a thing, person, etc, was perfect for, perfect at, perfect with, etc. Perfection is not an end in itself. It is an attribute. Obviously, Jesus was not just plain perfect. If He was, He could not have hung on the cross and died. He would not have been able to be beaten bloody. He would have been able to carry His cross all the way to where it was erected. But He was not, and could not be, perfect except for the mission He had here. That mission was incredibly important and I believe it was very real, but it never would have been able to take place if He had no faults. And, being Man, though also God, He had to have faults – for that, by definition, is an attribute of being human. You can not be a human being without being human.
He had ‘flesh’ – not ‘faults’.
Why? ‘Cause ‘flesh’ is part of what ‘mankind’ is. If you are able to ‘wrap your substantial intellect around this’ – The word ‘human’ does NOT appear in the Bible. The word ‘Man’ (which incorporates both women and men) does. The word: HUMAN – means ‘of the earth’ (ie: of ‘hume’) Jesus came as a Man – but, because of His …what do they call that… because of His ‘conception’ – not coming from a fallen ‘man’ (read, Adam) – it came through ‘Devine Conception’ of GOD’S SPIRIT ALONE – using Mary as the incubator – of sorts; he did NOT possess our ‘fallen’ nature.

The ‘statements’ he gave on the cross were exact verbiage from the Prophets – so, he was even fulfilling prophecy while hanging there… Those ‘words’ he spoke, look to the ‘casual reader’ to be imperfection and mere human behavior. I assure you – they weren’t. When he said: IT IS FINISHED – with his arms extended – JUST LIKE THE RABBI’S DID when they killed the Passover Lamb – He fulfilled EVERYTHING – every ‘jot and tittle’ as they/he say/says – and the wondrous thing is that scripture says that he’s now ‘sitting down’ after his ‘work’ that he accomplished. The Rabbis NEVER EVER got to ‘sit down’ – after their tedious ‘work’ – but, The Christ – now ‘sits’.
Find some books regarding The Feasts at a used book store – the 7 Feasts of the Lord. I promise, my Brother – you will be totally amazed and get even ‘more into’ what our Savior has done on our behalf.
In plain words – Jesus ‘walked out’ total obedience to the Father from his birth – to his death – and to his resurrection. That’s ‘why’ the word ‘Propitiation’ is such an important one. I’m sorry to respectfully disagree with you, Coach and the religious big shots you consulted with. Jesus did have doubts at the very beginning of His ministry. That is what the 40 days He spent alone in the wilderness was all about. He needed to know to the depths of His heart that He was not presumptuously claiming the mantel of Messiah after His baptism by John even though the Father’s pronouncement seems quite clear to us today as we read it. He was tempted of the devil, passed the tests gloriously, and never doubted Himself or His mission again. I don’t think this diminishes Jesus Christ at all. As for Obama, anyone so pro-abortion and pro-homosexual is not a Christian. Period!!

I don’t think I read that anywhere…but, I may be incorrect.
I believe we ‘fall into a pit’ as it were, when we attribute our feeble ‘opinions’ to somehow ‘enhance’ His WORD. We fall into the typical ‘Dialectical Trap’ that Eve fell into in the Garden in Genesis 3:1-6. We, as humans – forever ‘tend to’ insert our ‘opinions’ and want to ‘change GOD’S WORD’ to suit ‘our wants and desires’ – rather than allowing HIS WORD – to change us, from the inside out, as it were.

Right! Jesus – Emanuel – God-with-us… Being human, it isn’t too outrageous for Him to occasionally demonstrate His humanity, in doubt, in questioning, etc. But in faith, He accepted the Father’s direction and took His role in prophecy. He could not be a perfect example for us all without His humanity.
Thanks Don for explaining the ‘Eye of the Needle Gate.’ It’s one of Jesus’ many parables, an earthly story with a spiritual meaning. Just like the camel, we too, have to unload our burdens and get on our knees (humble ourselves) before Him. Has anyone on this post read The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn? If You haven’t, it is a MUST read for every American, and every Christian.

It’s not ‘me’, though. ‘Cause ‘me’ is just as frustrated by all of the events world-wide, as I’m certain (after reading all these comments) you are.
If there’s anything GOOD to be gleaned by the events that have happened just within my lifetime (1957-2012, thus far) it’s simply that: 1. God is IN CONTROL (because Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah said that the only authority anyone ever has – has been given to them by Heaven, alone.) and 2. That He truly is the ONLY ONE who is GOOD on this entire planet. (Read: He has His Holy Spirit within His kids and He Himself said ‘Only GOD is GOOD.’ (when the young man called him ‘good teacher’)
So, I simply take 2 minutes of time every morning (before my feet ‘hit the floor’ as it were) and THANK HIM for the day and ASK (notice, I don’t TELL Him anything! warm smiles…) Him to allow me to yield to Him Alone in the coming hours that I’m both ‘awake’ and even when I’m asleep!
*I say ‘even when I sleep’ because The Holy Spirit spoke directly ‘into my heart’ several weeks ago and shared with me that I was MUCH more obedient when I slept – than when I was ‘awake’. That really put the ‘fear of GOD’ into me – and I repented (read, I just cried and told Him that I was sorry.) And, then I spent the next several minutes THANKING HIM once again – for His Mercy for not only ‘saving’ my life – but, for putting up with my willfullness as well.
I promise all of you – that JUST like me (as this only happened several weeks ago, as I had stated) – you will experience TRUE FREEDOM (from ‘yourself’ I say, just as I’ve experienced that freedom – from myself and my truly selfish ways, ’cause I was ‘once’ only HU-MAN (which means, ‘of the earth’) but, just like you guys – I am NOW both SPIRIT IN HIM and still ‘flesh’ (which has-ta be ‘submitted’ to HIS WILL daily…ie: what the Bible calls ‘crucified’ to our flesh.
I promise ‘several times over’ that any ‘Believer’ that finally submits to the Christ’s Authority/Will in his life will experience the true freedom and joy that only HE CAN GIVE on a literal – daily basis. ((You’ve simply GOTTA believe me, as I was THE most willful individual that ever walked this planet – it was either ‘my way’ – or ‘my way’, okay? ((warm TRUTHFUL smiles))

My day starts like this:
I woke up this morning and got out of bed. So I know God took care of me overnight and I’m at least twice blessed before the day even got started. Acknoledging that truth, I remind myself that how my day goes depends far more on how I react to events – good or bad – than the events themselves. So whether I have a good day or a bad day is all up to me.
I believe Obama’s speech writer used excerpts from the TV version of the 1961 King of Kings movie as facts to compare Obama to Jesus in Obama’s teleprompter speech.
I also believe Obama thinks he is the King of Kings at this point in time.

At any rate yes, Jesus assumed the mortality of humans, and yes he was challenged and feared what he knew was his impending crucification. Jesus never doubted the plans because he knew them ahead of time. And just to set Obama straight Jesus was not Christ until after the resurrection.
Obama knows the bible about as well as he knows the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
