Cass Sunstein want to shut down conservative websites and radio because they dare speak against Obama, or spread “rumors”
Websites should be obliged to remove “false rumors” while libel laws should be altered to make it easier to sue for spreading such “rumors,” argued Cass Sunstein, Obama’s regulatory czar.
In his recently released book, “On Rumors,” Sunstein specifically cited as a primary example of “absurd” and “hateful” remarks, reports by “right-wing websites” alleging an association between President Obama and Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers.
He also singled out radio talker Sean Hannity for “attacking” Obama regarding the president’s “alleged associations.”
Ayers became a name in last year’s presidential campaign when it was disclosed the radical worked closely with Obama for years. Obama also was said to have launched his political career at a 1995 fundraiser in Ayers’ apartment.
As WND reported, Obama and Ayers sat together on the board of a Chicago nonprofit, the Woods Fund. Ayers also was a founder of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, where Obama was appointed as its first chairman in 1995.

Since the right to petition for redress of grievances has been eliminated by the circuit courts there is no check placed on anything the government does. The elitists simply do as they choose and the people be damned.

I wonder how this guy was able to write a book, with his nose stuck up Obamanation's butt all the time. He must be able to hold his breath a long time. And you have to stand in line to get an opportunity to stick your nose up his butt and follow him around. Sad, sad commentary on where we're going. Mr. Sunstein has written a book to complement Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals". Instead of being titled "On Rumors", the title should have been "To Suppress Truth". Mr. S is interested in only one thing, protecting his boss from being discovered. It seems to me that if anything, even the alternative media is reluctant to probe into Obama's associations, Sean Hannity included. Sean was commendable in revealing Obama's radical links during the campaign but now, like most conservative media hosts, limits himself to criticizing Obama's policies. We need journalists to continue the investigation into Obama's past because who he is today is explained by his past. Why is Obama getting a pass on on this by everyone?

Hannity is a fool beyond defending. I can understand the anti-Obama thing but pro-Hannity is ridiculous.
Would it be a stretch of the imagination to think that these requirements for "rumor removal" will be applied to the looney left as they perpetuate their continued attack against Bush and Palin? It seems to me that C ass Sunstein had better think this one thru a little better since it is the arrogant left that has traditionally abused the ability to libel and slander their opponents unabatedly.
It hurts my heart to see the lies, distortions, and assaults to our freedoms being made by the closest advisors to the President of the United States of America. Everyone of us should stop working, stop being falsely educated by Marxist college professors, turn off the TV if on the porno channels of ABC, NBC, and CBS, cancel our subscriptions to any newspaper owned or controlled by the Marxists of this country, get off our butts and stand, lie down on the pavement and stay on a hunger strike in front of our US Capitol until the government resigns.

Comcast Censoring Conservative Voices?
The American Public and the FCC need to keep an eye on ISPs. Comcast has been censoring conservative message board posters in my opinion. Because dominant ISP Comcast is a gateway to the internet, they control many eyeballs. Comcast's systematic censoring of conservative opinions on their News & Current Events message boards needs to cease and desist. If Comcast gets tax breaks from local government, then they have a civic, ethical, moral and perhaps legal obligation to provide fair and balanced moderation of their message boards.
