(CNSNews.com) – One day after President Obama said “yes,” he thinks the Boy Scouts of America should admit homosexuals — to expose them to “opportunities and leadership” — dozens of conservative groups are running a newspaper ad, urging the Boy Scouts to “show courage” and “stand for timeless values.”
The 41 conservative organizations, in a full-page ad in Monday’s USA Today, said it would be a “grave mistake” for BSA to change their longstanding policy against having openly homosexual Scout leaders or Scouts.

He`s right about one thing. There would be opputunities for gay men to teach young boys the way`s and facts of life. They may never learn to light a fire in the woods but they will learn the best way to get their pants down.

Anyone who is worried about their child in Boy Scouts should remove them. The gay thing will end the Boy Scouts. What happened to this a “private” organization? I thought “private” meant that you could have who you want in your group.
It’s a private organization, but obozo and the homos FORCE themselves on people. They don’t believe in decency. They believe everyone should accept their filthy, perverted way of life and if they don’t accept it willingly, they should be made to accept it. This IS tyranny.
If they want same activities and leadership, then start their own qu33r boys of America group. Leave the BSA alone. Christians have their own group such as the Rangers similar to BSA where they do camping trips and teach the boys various survival skills and how to enjoy and utilize nature also how to respect it.
Might as well bring the brownies and girls scouts and BSA all together into one group and have camping trips where the kids can be away from all the watchful eyes of their own parents. There is a reason why BSA only admits straight boys and its not because they intend to discriminate on anyone else. Just as Girl scouts used to only admit girls. Both groups do basically the same or similar activities and lessons.
Parents don’t want to send their kids off on camping / hiking trips and other adventures and have to worry about their child being raped, molested or impregnated or responsible for a pregnancy. Put kids together that have sexual interests between them and it causes problems as well as distractions for the lessons being taught by the leaders. Put homos into BSA is no different than having straight boys and straight girls bunking together. Opens the possibilities for peer pressures and dares and all the other little games kids come up with to coerce and even force others kids to participate.
It is better that the homos create their own group that mimics the BSA, christian rangers groups and the brownies and girl scouts. Maybe the homos should steal the brownies name and trademark, it would be more fitting for poop packers to bear the name brownies or the “Real brownies of America”. Then there is no controversy, they can have the same opportunities to be taught what the BSA and the girl scouts teaches their kids. Their requirement can be must not be straight, must be openly attracted to wieners both at the camp fire and in the tent.
The whole is nothing more than another Push to force recognition of Homosexuals. The BSA should either STAND against this intrusion or disband. It’s a shame, but I would rather the time honored Boy Scouts of America disband in protest, rather than accept ! I hope they stand against this attempt and keep the BSA as it HAS always been !!!! I believe there is much to be seen on how this country ultimately handles the Gay / Lesbian agenda. You can’t keep permitting this thing without eventually just throwing the gates open, Besides all that, when virtually any “cause” is pushed long enough, people get inured, jaded enough just to say “MAN, Enough, Just give them what they want and Shut Up”…. No, people need to stand against this and all things like it !
I agree 100% the Homosexual agenda is not “INNOCENT” people just wanting to be accepted BUT a EVIL / WICKED agenda along with Abortion. BSA should Disband and if they don’t parents should pull their Kids out of the BSA. Looks to me like it is ALL about MONEY from sponsors and others that are pouring money into the BSA and that will decide their decision. Money is more important than standing up against the Evil agenda.

Yep ! The “almighty” dollar buys an awful lot of fealty anymore ! Just like the Man said: “The Love of money is the root of all evil….” (Note he said the LOVE of it, not just having it….)…. Many many people will give away anything for the right price, for the right recognition, for the right favors…etc. And our politicians seem to be the biggest partakers of this.
With all due respect, Mr. President., the BSA doesn’t need you to weigh in on this one. The Boy Scouts of America has a right to hold to the moral code they were founded on. There is nothing wrong with them standing up for what they believe in. If the homosexual community wants a scouting program, then let them start their own.

Actually, I think it’s all about making a point ! They certainly believe they are just normal individuals. They believe they should marry and have all the rights and privileges as other heterosexual couples. They believe they should be allowed to “have children”, regardless of the fact they cannot by any normal means. All in all, it’s just about I’m living my life no matter how abhorrent, or wrong you may think it is !
