The debate/search for the real ‘why,’ people like Javon Belcher commit gun violence, completely ignores psychotropic drugs. Aurora, Virginia Tech, and most school shootings share this one common denominator. What starts out a ‘chemically induced intention’ ends up being an aftermath hard to confront. I wouldn’t be surprised if Javon, his wife, or both were on anti-depressants.
