“Study after study shows that the sooner a child begins learning, the better he or she does down the road.” Obama said this in last Tuesday’s State of the Union address, arguing that the federal government should provide preschool education. Among his multitudinous straw man arguments and big-government strategies, this is just another plan for more government control of our children at the taxpayers’ expense.
While early learning is a benefit to children, this doesn’t mean that earlier formal school will benefit them. Why should we subject toddlers to the same education system that is failing our kindergarten through twelfth graders? American students are currently at the bottom when it comes to test scores in subjects like math and science. A quarter of our kids are dropping out of high school, and many of those who do graduate can’t read at grade level. Despite failing our children, the government’s constant answer is that the schools need more money. Yet the more money they get, the worse our students do every year. This is just another pitch to gain influence over younger and younger children, continue to erode parental rights, and to gain more jobs for teachers and their unions who vote for big government.
The same problems we see for day-care kids vs. children who are cared for at home will pervade this new proposed school system. Daycare kids are twelve times more likely to get the flu than those cared for at home. Research from the American Academy of Pediatrics shows that toddlers in daycare are more insecure, anxious, aggressive, hyperactive, defiant, and disobedient. What kind of teenagers and adults do they become with this as their foundation? Just as the constant change in personnel negatively affects daycare children’s sense of trust and security, so will this be the case for younger children going through government-run public school systems.
Licensed and “trained professionals” are already forming the value systems of our children as they have them for thousands of hours away from their parents’ care. Obama will put children who are at a critical and vulnerable stage in their psychological and behavioral development under the care of people who are not accountable for any mistakes or false teaching. It will not help children, poor or otherwise. What it will do is create a division in the authority figures in children’s lives.
Estimates are that this will cost taxpayers $98 billion over ten years. Families who are already struggling will bear the burden of even more money taken out of their pockets to be used not only to indoctrinate their children, but also to undermine their parental guidance and authority.
What really sets children up for success at every stage of development is a strong nuclear family unit, not government-run education. But strong families are less likely to teach their children victimhood and government dependence. That’s a problem for an administration that wants ever more government control over the lives of Americans.

You cannot expect the government to raise our children. My children needed the education that we their parents felt was best for them. I hear that some schools in this country are teaching classes on sex education. Not the type of education that I would want my children to be taught. If we are Christians we
would be teaching morality along with the education we think is best for them. We cannot expect them to
be taught correctly, unless we do it ourselves. Leave it up to the Parents. The government cannot afford it
anyway.
I agree Abendi, I was given the option of not letting my children receive the sex education classes and I took it. I was given a warning from another parent about how graphic it was and I opted out, So glad I did. I recently read about the Agenda 21 indoctrine that they are going to be teaching these children starting at age three. Please everyone look up Agenda 21 and their keyspoint of education. They will be teaching self gratification to three year olds. So glad my children are grown!

As a recent preschool teacher, there is another huge problem with government preschool other than money. What the teacher WILL NOT tell any parent is that they will try to identify these very young children, for what they term “TRANSITION.” A three year old boy at the center where I worked didn’t have a father and lived with his mother and grandmother. The boy had no interaction with males and therefore began to imitate his mother and grandmother. Instead of the school helping the mom to locate a solid male mentor (the mentor could have also come to the preschool) for the boy, the director and assistant director labeled him as a girl that was trapped in a boy’s body and they were preparing him for his sex change operation! The left will eventually block technical education for conservative children in order to keep the right under subjection. This will keep the left advanced technologically to where they will be in a position to use technology against the conservatives. Their advances into the educational system is astounding in that they are starting to lie and indoctrinate children at such a young age as to destroy any free thought and loyalty to God, their families and their countries. These drones, etc., they are putting out to spy on American citizens are an example where they could be interefered with technologically and the citizens be protected from their abuse with those who are not tricked or forced into going over to the left. Those who remain true to God and country will, if this agenda keeps going by the left have no chance to work in technologically advanced fields or even to obtain the education to counter the harm done. These people in control are evil and do not want to have their programs interefered with or for those opposing to be educated to where they have a good understanding of technology. It is past time to close down the USDA and programs used therein to keep people under subjection who deserve their liberties and a real education.

Every course your child is taking should be geared towards getting prepared for a technologiclly advanced world and not social agendas. You are wasting time and money as well as causing confusion and hedonistic tendencies promoted by the left to rear it’s ugly head and intertwine into your child’s life. These people are tearing down what you have succeeded in building within your child to make him/her a believer in God, Country and family. These people are scattering your efforts to the wind. Keep your children out of public schools and liberal colleges where they will be able to have a TRUE understanding of life, their liberty and a pursuit of happiness. Close the public schools if they are teaching this leftist rot to your children by putting your chiledren in charter schools, private schools or a very very good home school programs. Do not feed your children to the wolves. Get yourselves right with God and stay the course.
Overall children are NOT safe in public schools. These schools are being used as experimental programs to promote the leftist agenda and gear your chiild’s thoughs away from what you are teaching them at home. The rebellion, the peer pressure to experiment in all sorts of debauchery is not frowned upon by those who could help steer your child to a better road in life. They are geared to promote divisiveness by using race and baiting one ethnic above another by constantly promoting the ‘slave’ thing or taking sides with anyone other than white students to cause hate, anger and a sense of being treated unfairly. The hate and anger they use to cause further damage to the psyches of those who see the unfairness. It is being used for this purpose in most cases and not for the purpose of “leveling” the playing field. The playing field has always been as level as it can be with a diverse group. That is not to say some tweaking may be in order from time to time, but tweaking done in fairness to all. These do not want fairness who are tearing down your children because they are white or otherwise. They do not even want revenge. They want ANGXT. They want the by product that is feeding the flames of hatred and distrust. They want the best stiffled in all children so they can nurture their own sick agendas and control the populations. Jus know your child does not belong in a school to be humiliated, subjected to lies and deceit and taught false historical details to make this country look bad. At any cost close these public sewers they are calling public schools.
Close or restructure and do not fund the U.S. Department of Health Education and Welfare until there is a clear indication they are performing for the Health, Education and Welfare of the people of the United States. They should not be in the business of causing policy to be used for political gains on either side. This department is being used to slowly steer the population into leftist thinking and subjecting them to be more under the control of those implementing agendas and policies that is stiffling individual thinking. This is a hugh agency and their policies and programs are so diversified that they reach into about every facet of your life in one area or another. This hughe department is being staffed from top to bottom by those who are using every facet of this hugh department and agencies to stiffle your movement and indoctrinate your children into being into the One World Order groove and ultimately the One World Church movement that is going to pressure them into putting their concerns for free though on the back burner in order to survive. These people need to be out of a job, but the only people who will be hired through them will be their own. Their socializing of America will mean your child, if conservative, will not receive a decent education unless they and their family have the leftist thinking down pat. Your children and families are at risk now.
