When Barack Obama replaced George Bush, there was unbridled joy among the elites. The days of “cowboy diplomacy” were over! Finally, we had a president who was a careful multi-lateralist who wouldn’t rudely impose his will, but would instead work with allies to build consensus.
But that’s not what Obama delivered with Israel last week, is it? Obama went to the State Department and insisted Israel needed to stop its “unsustainable” policy toward the Palestinians and “boldly” retreat behind pre-1967 borders. A stunned Benjamin Netanyahu responded as any ally would if so roundly betrayed. He publicly — correctly — denounced Obama’s policy prescription.
Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic magazine (and website) posted an item on May 20 headlined: “Dear Mr. Netanyahu, Please Don’t Speak to My President That Way.” Netanyahu, he wrote, threw a “hissy fit.” That pretty much encapsulated the American media’s reaction. “Cowboy diplomacy” is just fine from time to time — if the man in the saddle is Obama.
On that night’s “NBC Nightly News,” reporter Andrea Mitchell was finding anonymous distaste for Netanyahu from other Israeli officials, never mind that his country was unquestionably applauding him.
“I was told that even some Israeli officials, David, were uncomfortable with what they acknowledge was a lecturing tone by the prime minister. But he felt very strongly he had to say this to the world, to President Obama’s face.”

He thinks his word is law and no one can dispute it. Who does he think he is–a king?
He don't like to be corrected. He thinks he is supreme over all!
Sorry Goldberg, I didn't see an Netanyahu "hissy fit," are you for real? You have to be kidding. That man is in control of both his mind and behavior. And, to comment on what Andrea Mitchell says?….Finding her anonymous Netanyahu detractors? If the Israeli PM could run for the US presidency, he'd kick Obama's butt seven ways to Sunday.
Obama shrunk to a mere petulant child sitting opposite Netanyahu. The Commando commanded, and he spoke with logic, not a teleprompter.
I watched with glee as Netanyahu trounced Obama in Obama's own turf! It's about time someone has the balls to tell Obama to stick it! Oh, and the look on Obama's face was pricless! I found Netanyahu to be quite a gentleman and spoke so the attendees were left with NO uncertainy on where his country stands and makes no excuses for the love he has for his people and his country. If Obama lives to be one hundred years old, he'll NEVER top Netanyahu's speech. What a crying shame that we don't have a leader as fine as Netanyahu!!!
If You Lecture The Manchurian Muslin Pres Obama, Yikeess, He Will Take His Toys And Run Home So Fast That He Will Forget The Days Date And Year, MaMa They Made Fun Of My Big Ears.
He blew it at Westminster the other day, trying to tap his hoidy-toidy affectations when signing the guest book. He took almost a page for his autograph, then dated it almost like a European, "24 May 2008!" Maybe it is 2008! I guess that answers how he traveled "57" US states too.
Then the dinner honoring the Queen….Obama stood up to toast her, except that when the Queen is toasted, it's "To the Queen" then you sit down and shut up. Obama launched into a prepared speech, the fancy-pants that he is. Only, when the brief toast is made to the Queen, the Queen's own band struck up music, drowning Obama out as he tried to speak over the music. No, he obviously didn't know to sit down…he only knows how to bow to Arab kings. Next week, the "curtsy coach" comes to the WH!
Netanyahu won by a KNOCKOUT. Hussein showed the Fool he is and now another social mistake from these two LOW CLASS Chicago Negros !!
He does think that GOD is on his side.
It is irrational to think that any single payer social program will work best. It is irrational to think that nations can tax its way out of poverty. It is irrational to believe that a power convinced that you have nowhere else to go will do your biding.
A true Conservative and a true Liberal agree on one thing though for different reasons. Any single payer social program is a nutty idea! Now each believes that it’s not so nutty as long as their side is managing it.
We can destroy the power by replacing them with citizens that can be immediately removed by citizens should they grow a greedy bone and never serve for a life time. We must take control ourselves. P.S. Have you heard of “you cut” @ http://majorityleader.gov/YouCut/
Obama's attacking Prime Minister Netanyahu & Israel will cost him dearly in the 2013 elections. In my opinion the Jewish vote will easily exceed 40% & possibly over 50% for the Republican Candidate for President.
I'd be willing to bet the only "hissy fit" thrown was by obama after he sulked off to his room following the enlightening lecture by the a man who is obviously much smarter than he!
