New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said he has no regrets about calling a former Navy SEAL an “idiot” during a shouting match at a recent public event, as a Democratic leader urged him to apologize and put an end to “schoolyard taunts.”
Christie’s comment capped off two minutes of increasingly heated back-and-forth with 34-year-old William Brown at a town hall-style event in Burlington County on Thursday.
“He acted like an idiot. He’s an idiot. I don’t have any regret about it at all,” Christie said Monday during a news conference after touring a regional high school and meeting with students in a financial literacy class.
Brown, an Iraq war veteran and former Democratic candidate for state Assembly, challenged the Republican governor’s plan to merge two public universities, Rutgers and Rowan. He is a law student at the Rutgers-Camden campus who opposes the merger.

Christies mouth is as big as his AZZ. He’s put forth as the top notch Republican, I find him more a Muslim loving enemy in many ways. He acts like he belongs as the head of the Al Capone gang. If you are going to be a leader of anything, use a little civility.
What or when has Christie ever acted or identified himself as a follower of Muslim religion? Here you are making suggestions on what a leader should or shouldn’t be at the end of your comment. However at the beginning of your comment you start out with name calling and bashing, is this your idea of civility. lead by example! If your not willing to be civil, then don’t expect others to be civil. Civility is a two way street.
The plain and simple fact of the matter is that your a Democratic and you can not stand when a Republican stands up and speaks truth and facts and don’t beat around the bush or sugar coat it.
Its ok for Democrats to name call and bash the right, But shame, shame if the right kicks sand back in the left’s face. The liberals act like the sky is falling, especially listening to the democratic educators in NJ, who want, want, want for them self, they talk about their not getting compensated for this and that and don’t want to take a pay cut despite the economic troubles the State and the Country as a whole are in. Everyone in the public sector has to make sacrifices and compromises, but the educators want more and more during a time that funds are just not available and not the Gov nor anyone else can get that simple analogy through the ignorant heads of the Dems who thinks money just grows on trees.
Then some select educators, the very ones complaining they are not being properly compensated for their education and experience, step up and have the audacity to say teachers educate because they love what they do. Which is it? Are these teachers educating for the love of what they do or for the money? These Dems speak out both sides of their mouth, If they are doing it for the love of being an educator, then they should be arguing for benefits that will enhance their students learning experience and not placing their arguments above the students needs to argue about their benefits package.
The heckler was a total A H
He puts the lefty’s in their place!!!LMAO, just because this guy is a seal, doesn’t make it right for him to act like an A$$hole!!
