TRENTON, N.J. (Official Wire) — Gov. Chris Christie’s blunt talk has long been one of his hallmarks.
But Christie, who has verbally tangled with many, showed Wednesday he’s willing to aim his barbs at the highest echelons of his own party.
In a State House news conference, Christie blasted Republican U.S. House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio for delaying a vote on a $60 billion aid package for Superstorm Sandy recovery.
“Do your job and come through for the people of this country,” Christie pointedly said about Boehner.
Harsh criticism of Boehner by elected officials in New York and New Jersey turned into a bipartisan affair Wednesday. But it was Christie’s remarks that drew the most attention, both for what he said and his willingness, as a Republican with higher aspirations, to so forcefully take on Boehner and Congressional Republicans.

Christie needs to sit down and shut up. $60,000,000,000 billion to rebuild from Sandy. All of New Jersey can be bought for 60 billion and give it all back to the indians. $30billion was was Sandy and $30billion was pure pork. The country is totally broke. We need to put a wall aroung Washing DC and give it all to China. Hell they have already bought it.
I could say that WE are in trouble, but then I would be falling into the trap “THEY” have set for us. So, instead I will say that whoever is the Speaker is not really the issue anymore. OUR government no longer stands for “We The People” Democrats, Republicans, they are both woven from the same cloth, just in different shades and thicknesses.
I am an American, not a republican, not a conservative, an American. With FREE WILL that tells me this whole political thing is in an out of control spiral, which I must jump off of and look at the direction and damage it is taking.

This is not about what I believe, or what you believe, what I know or you know, what I think or you think…If we do not come together and find a way to listen, not necessarily compromise, but maybe just listen, without judgment, to the other side…WITHOUT AN AGENDA… we may find out that we are, most of us, on the same side, just with different perspectives.
Now I add: We must separate ourselves from the political arena and look for ways to conquer the disease that is taking over our country like a slow moving cancer…one cell at a time.
This I might add is not “AN AGENDA”, because it affects us all. Rich, poor and everything in-between.
A lot of us have been listening to what the left has been saying and doing. They don’t believe in our constitution any longer. They don’t believe or want capitalism to be the economic engine of this country anymore.
I’m an American too, but just because the conservative leadership we have at this time is not capable of standing their ground against the tyrannical seeking obama and the democrat klan, that doesn’t mean that the whole conservative party is just like Boehner.
No, there is a WORLD OF DIFFERENCE in the ideologies of each party, and a person is gonna have to decide pretty soon which side they are on.
You either support a government that controls every aspect of your life, or you want to retain the freedom you were born with as an American. If you don’t pick a side, then neither side will be able to trust you, which makes your demise more likely to happen sooner than later.
I believe in FREEDOM. I believe our government has been infiltrated with people who do not share that belief. They have no reason to compromise with conservatives on any issue, but our conservative leaders have been living in denial about just how evil and dangerous Obama is to our country..
Because they refuse to believe that this country could be taken over by a dictator, they ignore all the evidence that suggest it is happening right under their nose. John McCain still thinks Obama is a decent man, that he just happens to not agree with.
Obama is not a decent man. His intentions are as evil as any of the other dictators throughout history have been. The fact that everything his is doing policy wise, is similar to the actions that were taken by the other dictators on their way to total power over their country.
American is being torn apart right now, but it’s no mystery to me which way she should go. But she’ll have to be taken back by force or lost forever.
Christie should have read the aid package….over a billion dollars of pork added by the democrats in the Senate……..why is the governors of these states not going after the insurance companies who are putting the screws to the people they have insured?..a lady showed,her once a very nice home and the insurance company offer $29,000..which would’nt fix the kitchen….Obama promise he would get FEMA to get on the ball, after all they work for him….nothing, he wants the Feds to pay for the damage, what does he think FEMA is for? They have the money, With the insurance companies and FEMA, should already been a done deal……Christie, your mouth has overloaded your arrrrrse this time.

The reason almost every policy written in this country has a flood exemption clause which the Feds write. Also most of Ocean front property has a Hurricane clause also. It is easy to point at the insurance company but if you do not know what your paying for then it is the person problem not the states. Anyone who think they are getting the shaft in NY or NJ should write to their States Department of Insurance and Banking. If they were told by an agent they had coverage, they may also sue their agent on his errors and emission policy. Although that may be hard to prove.
