That is the Logical thing to do, Blast the Insane or Thugs that try to enter now that would be the best gun Control.
I think this is a very wise move by the Newtown citizens. It is obvious that every government official or business executive who thinks they are important have armed guards, so our children deserve no less. And we should quit advertising that schools are gun free zones. Law-abiding citizens who own guns will not take them to the school, and criminals with sinister thoughts and plans don’t care. The NRA plan is a good one, “nothing stops a bad man with a gun like a good man with a gun.”

The NRA proposal is for more government (and federal funding) and while the idea of an armed guard in every school is step in the right direction, it doesn’t go far enough and will end up being another ineffective, “feel good” federal program with bloated costs.
One armed person isn’t enough to provide adequate security to a facility the size of most schools.
Israel had some horrific school massacres. Their solution? Train and arm the teachers. It works. They haven’t had a major incident since, despite being surrounded by madmen sworn to kill all Jews and wipe Israel from the face of the planet.
From my point of view, as a father of three and grandfather of 10, if the teachers aren’t willing to take responsibility for the defense of their charges they should find another job and let someone who will defend the children take the position.
The principal in CT bravely tried to defend her students, but she was doomed from the start and had no chance. No matter how anti-gun she may have been (I don’t know), I’d bet at the end she wished she had a gun so she would have had at least a fighting chance. Would she have died anyway? Perhaps, but at least her final bravery wouldn’t have been futile.
It matters not how many deputies you have at any given school… if a idiot gunman is going to shoot someone and he can’t get inside the school… he will either do it while they are on the bus or leaving the school building. Doesn’t matter…
In Chicago as well as a lot of other large Cities.. .they have ‘drive by’ shootings all the time… the same thing can happen at the schools when school is out. The problem is the violence in movies, video games. When a parent allows kids from birth on to play with these games or watch these movies.. then the parents are as much fault as the people who have done the shooting. Power of ‘suggestion’ does a lot to a person’s mind. When a kid sees violence, they think it’s cool and can easily act upon it when they are older. So the parents should be held accountable for the violence their OWN kids watch.
When kids see violence among the parents… this is another outrage for them to try out themselves when married or even single… thus turning into killings for reasons of dope, cheating on your spouse.. or just stealing for lack of schooling cause it’s more profitable to steal and push dope as it is to go to school. I hold almost ALL parents accountable for a kids actions in laater life.
Video games that promote violence are no different than someone stating that they want to kill the president. Congress has already passed a law that provides imprisonment for anyone who makes this statement publicly.This comes under Article II section 8 of the Constitution concerning “Insurrections” such as incitement to riot or incitement to commit murder.The Supreme court is WRONG on their decision to consider these games to be ” freedom of speech”.The creator of these games by his actions is guilty of [ INSURRECTION ]and should be proscecuted to the full extent of the law.He is as mentally disturbed as the shooter of Sandy Hook,Adam Lanza and even more so; expecting teens lacking proper control[programming] by parents,church,teachers,or Scout Leaders to RESIST being Hyptnotised by the instructions and music provided by these games.The game in question,KINDERGARTEN KILLER Promises improvement in health by the number of children killed.In addition the game cannot be won because of the short time limit even if each shot is counted as a kill.This would explain why Adam Lanza destroyed his computer and went to the school where he believed he could win and improve his health because there would be no time limit.There is also the question of the police arriving to see all the carnage and pools of blood and being unable to resist shooting the armed killer! If you were one of the police officers that resonded,would you be able to resist shooting Adam Lanza? The police reported that he shot himself [ commited suicide ],but did he really ?
Why havent the police reported the results of the autopsy concerning the bullet to see which weapon was used by Adam Lanza to commit suicide? Why would he carry 2 pistols to commit suicide since he had the AR-15 to shoot the children? Was the final shot to his head as with most suicides or was he shot somewhere else ? If the weapon used was the Glock, the Glock is a weapon of choice for the police. They could have shot him and claimed that he committed suicide knowing that it wouldn’t be questioned due to the other shootings, and dropped the Glock next to him to support their contention that he committed suicide when if he was following the game,he only wanted to WIN and did not even consider committing suicide?
For such a bizzare killing there are an extreme number of unanswered questions. How can anyone suggest a REASONABLE SOLUTION to this event without knowing all the FACTS and having the answers to these questions and other necessary details instead of just basing their conclusions on ASSUMPTIONS? The reports made by the media on the scene were sketchy if not contradictory.First reports were that 18 children were killed and later reports stated that 18 were killed and 2 taken to the hospitak that died later.They also reported that there were 100′s of rounds fired and the spent shells were all over the floor. Either the reporting was wrong or the public needs to know ALL the missing facts as does Congress in order to adopt a feasable SOLUTION.
