Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich delivered a speech at the 2012 NRA Celebration of American Values Leadership Forum yesterday. Apparently to Newt, the word “goodbye” is positive!

Good speech but he erred by referring to the right to bear arms as “one of our unalienable rights eluded to in the Declaration of Independence.” The Second Amendment and the right to bear arms he was referring to is actually one of the First Ten Amendments to the U.S. Constitution known as the Bill of Rights. However, he is correct that our right to bear arms come from our creator, not our government.
I Know That speaker Gingrich has had his ups and downs, but setting all that aside, at this moment in our history where the forces against our constitution and freedoms are rampant, its crying shame that americans by choice wil allow this man with such wisdom and understanding of the social and economic problems in America to go and sit in the shadows when in reality he would make a great President.. Not many Americans are very smart when it comes down to real change. The evidence lies in our past election. Look at what we got. Nobody didnt even take the time to vette this president even when all the evidence was out in the open. I am conservative and I know the even the republican establishment fear Newt, because they know that Newt, will take on his very own party and clean house beginning with the Zars, then Holder, and the corruption thats in Washington.. If thats what we want then we know what we have to do.. Lets not complain later if we fail ourselves again by making the same mistake. I would put my money on Gingrich anyday………
