This was the strongest language of last nights debate, and Newt Gingrich handled the devastating interview given by his ex-wife to ABC news by masterfully attacking the media. Newt may win SC with this single debate exchange.

Newt made this lib, CNN hack look like the biased, agenda driven shill he is. It’s VERY refreshing to find at least ONE Republican candidate with the guts necessary to stand up to the media and allow no doubt as to what they are–biased, liberal flacks.
To be sure there are legions of knuckle dragging RINO stooges who will lap up whatever contrived theater their puppeteers dream up for them. I’ll bet you dollars to donuts that the stench of Karl Rove is wafting off of every aspect of this story, the wife’s “interview” the daughters’ testimony, the debate question,Perry’s and Palin’s endorsements, everything. Why? ‘Cause ol’ Leroy is the establishment’s stealth candidate. He’s proven that he can maintain the grip of his lips upon the posterior of the establishment better than their flagging darling Romney, so now they have gone into overdrive to get their real choice elected. They are finally getting a clue that whoever is under attack is defended as the “independent” or “grass roots” or”underdog” candidate. The whole thing is nothing more than cheap political theater being callously used against the portion of the electorate too gullible to see through it. Like I say, it’s got the turd blossom seal of approval all over it.
So you’re saying that Karl Rove dreamed up the interview with Newt’s wife, planned it with ABC and went over King’s question with King and Newt’s response WITH NEWT to make sure it had maximum effect? And all of this was staged to put Newt in the top spot over Romney?
One might call that a stretch of the imagination?
C.Davis, I work here at Western Journalism. I believe that Newt is working for the establishment at the end of the day as opposed to the grassroots, just like Romney. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read and comment on our posts. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Keep up the good fight!
Daniel,
I don’t think there’s any question but that Gingrich has been courting the Republican Party and Party elites for the past 2-3 years, hoping they would give him a leg up in the nomination sweepstakes. Just his endorsement of Didi Scozzafava was enough to turn stomachs, yet probably necessary in the quest. But clearly Newt is NOT the choice of Party elders. Willard is. I’ve a feeling Newt is on his own and will be the rest of the way unless he happens to defeat Romney. At that point the Party will grudgingly “support him wholeheartedly.” Very grudgingly I would imagine because they don’t like it when someone knocks off their chosen boy! Tomorrow will be an interesting day.
