Is MSNBC providing free advertising for President Obama?
A network promotional campaign being run this summer on the cable network and in movie theaters is raising eyebrows among some viewers who believe MSNBC is actively campaigning for Obama’s re-election, and possibly admitting Obama may not be a natural-born American citizen.
“Sometimes I think the critics of the president are just clearly unfair when they say he doesn’t love this country,” says Chris Matthews, anchor of MSNBC’s “Hardball” program in one of the “Lean Forward” ads directed by Spike Lee.
“And here’s a guy of mixed background, and he said ‘Only in this country, my country, is this story possible.’ I think that was the greatest testament to American exceptionalism. I don’t think that you can say that in Japan or in China. You can’t go these countries and become Chinese.”
Then while pointing to the White House in the background, Matthews concludes by saying, “And look where he is.”

when comcast was trying to buy nbc/msnbc there were problems with some monopoly laws or such and then the Obama adm. stepped in to help make it work out, and Comcast to my understanding was allowed to buy the network, but, had to as part of the deal, provide free high speed internet service and notebooks to the urban poor. hummm is it possible another part of the deal was this?? get rid of comcast

If Obama threatens to stop payments to the military, Social Security recipients and other essential payments you must counter with the threat that Congress will investigate his forged birth certificate and lack of his being an American citizen.

Isn't NBC-MSNBC now owned by Comcast? yea and I heard part of the deal was that Comcast was to provide free high speed internet to urban Poor areas and notebooks. So when our rates go up to pay for this new monopoly remember who now has msnbc it's COMCAST and I'm getting rid of them over this whole deal. Many of my friends already have made the switch, I have a particular circumstance making it a bit difficult, but, by summers end bye bye COMCAST.
Wish there was something else in my area, since Comcast has exclusive monopoly
franchise in my city.
Well then, there's even 10-20X slower Qwest dsl, but I still say Comcast is monoploy
in cable market (specific wording).
I do get all my TV off simple mast mount antenna, local only, and just don't think it
worth the price to pay comcast for 100's more channels than I'll ever watch, esp. since I watch
no more than perhaps 2 hrs./night anyway.
I've been considering leaving Comcast also. I'm not paying anymore for anymore losers.
