There are plenty of negative traits one can ascribe to MSNBC host Toure – a penchant for making irrationally racist comments, for instance – but recent comments about the prenatal death of his child show callousness not often broadcast to the public.
In a disturbing celebration of Roe V. Wade’s 40th anniversary, Toure shared a personal experience from about 15 years ago. His ex-girlfriend, who he declared “wasn’t the one”, had just had an abortion; and he described his own child’s legal murder as one of the highlights of his life.
“I thank God and country,” he said, “that when I fell into a bad situation, abortion was there to save me.”
His arrogance and lack of compassion are on full display in that one statement. On top of openly being more concerned about his comfort than a child’s life, Toure has the audacity to thank God for such an atrocious act.
This self-centered clown used his platform, however limited that may be on MSNBC, to share a view much of this country considers to be utterly inexcusable. Nonetheless, he spewed the nonsense that, had the abortion not happened, the resulting pregnancy would have made “a mess of three lives.”
To avoid that, he and his ex-girlfriend simply decided to eliminate the one life that did not have a vote.

There will come a time when he stands before Almighty God and explains to Him why he thanked Him for something He did not approve of. Maybe they’ll air that on MSNBC. Maybe one day he’ll get right with Almighty God and the pain he’ll feel for the murder he committed. It’ll hurt worse when he thinks about the son or daughter he killed.
I answered to a person on a blog on MLK day who asked this question. “just where are the great men like MLK these days” I answered, with over 300,000 abortions each year it is highly likely that more than one great man or woman was killed each year. Who knows what these lives that are so easily snuffed out before they have a chance would have been capable of. I know more than one woman who have had abortions and have been honest with me that regularly they wonder such things themselves. One said to me that each time she sees a child about the age the one she aborted would be she gets a lump in her throat. Sad for sure. So much potential just snuffed out like ‘lump of tissue”

Pity his mother did not abort him then the public would not have had to listen to him gloat about being an accessory to murdering his own child.
This headline is wrong “Newsman Publicly Thanks God Ex-girlfriend Had Abortion”. There is no part of this person that can be called a “Newsman”. He is part of NBC’s Poverty Prevention Program.
Thank God than another arrogant ass makes a fool of himself! Why does he think his life and presence is any more important that than of an innocent child who may have become a great man or woman! Just because “we” make a mistake in our choices of sexual partners, doesn’t mean the result of that liason isn’t worth having, raising and allowing to become what God intended it to be! Disgust example of Black Men and their selfishness and lack of responsibility! We see so few really good ones, but there is, unfortunately and abundance of men like this one, including our arrogant president, who thinks his travels are more important that getting a budget in place!
