Recently appointed on an interim basis to fill Sen. John Kerry’s seat, William “Mo” Cowan’s race-obsessed past has come to light despite the mainstream media’s best efforts.
Along with his wife and other cohorts, Cowan used to help plan and execute so-called “friendly takeovers” of majority-white establishments.
In a 2003 interview, the lawyer said “We get used to the fact that we’ll be the only black people in the restaurant” and “want to come to something like this to see other people who look like us. Everybody has their comfort zone.”
He also noted the apparent level of discomfort among white patrons when he and other black individuals took over a restaurant.
“It’s always interesting to me to observe even the most positive, forward-thinking progressive member of the majority culture when they are surrounded by minorities,” he said.
Bombarding an establishment deemed to be too white is justified, according to Cowan’s logic, because the majority has always benefitted from some inherent privilege based solely on their skin color.
“White people in the U.S. have had the comfort zone all their lives,” he said, lumping all people who fit his narrow-minded ideology into one group as leftists are wont to do.
This is not the extent of Cowan’s preoccupation with race. He served as a recruiter for black lawyers for a number of employers, including a stint helping then-Gov. Mitt Romney choose specifically minority lawyers for judicial consideration.
Upon his arrival at the overwhelmingly white US Senate, one wonders if he might show up with his wife and fellow activists in tow to stage a takeover.

I have seen this before. A Good neighborhood mostly of whites, then Blacks moved in and Trashed the place up till now a once Nice neighborhood is now a Trashed up gueto. I know from experience. I saw my moms neighborhood turn black, and after a large piece of land at the end of my street got sold and low income houses built, all My neighbors started missing stuff that used to be safe till the blacks moved in. And now that neighborhood is all black, and FULL of Crime.
I know this is not about neighborhoods, but for the most part it still applies. If you watch the news about all the Dope deals and arrests, Shootings, Killings, and Robberies, maybe one out of 15 such stories are about a White person.
All you need do is look at Detroit…Cleveland …Baltimore’s once beautiful row houses, SE WashingtonDC, and the list goes on. They move in and take over and the whole neighborhood goes to hell in hand basket, all paid for by tax dollars. Welcome to OBAMAWORLD!!!!
This is what I have been talking about, it’s not about an individual being white or black, it’s about hypocracy, it’s about how african americans can go around saying white people are racist when all along it has been the other way around, since I moved here in Virginia in 1969. Not once did I see or even know what racism was until I was attacked by, not one african american, but 10 african americans, and that was my first introduction to racism, sense then all I hear is how the white man is racist, racist, racist, then this president started to run for president, then all I heard was the white man is racist, racist, racist, and now I hear this guy wanting tosteal a restraunt from white people, and why????? Because he feels uneasy being around white people, maybe somebody ought to tell him, that the white man don’t bite, it’s the black man that bites, I have scares to prove it, then again in 2007 I was attacked again as I was walking home one early morning after dropping off my truck to be repaired. I lived approx. 1.5 miles from the dealership to the house, and after I started to walk, here comes 4 young african americans driving by, then all of a sudden I hear there car coming to a skreeching halt, looked back, saw the car making a u-turn as I kept walking, then they pulled up behind me, they flicked on the brights, then hear three doors open, then slam shut, I kept on walking, I then hear some skuffling of feet as if they started to run, then all of a sudden, Iturned just as the first one came up behind me coming down with a baseball bat, I was able to grab his wrist with the bat in his hand, and my reflex brought up my leg and kicked him right in his black gonades, and he dropped as I looked, and the other two with bats were almost in front of me, but I was able to run my hiney off to get up on some guys porch, then got into a defensive position ready to get my hiney kicked with baseball bats, all of a sudden, just as the guys got right in front of me, and then the drive pulled up and honked the horn, then the three jumped back in their car, and off they went, so I have had my dealings with racism, and the racism was NOT coming from me. This guy who wanted to do a take over is typical of african americans, they know if a white man say anything, all they have to do is cry racist, racist the white man is racist, I say, I don’t feel a racist bone within my body, but I have seen it on the other side of the fence.
It really is sad because all whites living now have had NOTHING to do with slavery. Even their ancestors for the last hundred years have had nothing to do with it. How can some black people think today’s whites are responsible for what happened so long ago? How do they think that whites now should pay reparations? Slavery was an abominable part of our history, but white people cannot be held hostage to that part of history. It is also sad that some people will never move on to the promise of America and the equal right to make something of themselves and prosper in the freedom we all enjoy. I hope this interim appointee will realize the U.S. Senate is not the place for his particular prejudices, although some others are already thoroughly entrenched there.
That person is being slipped into town governments as a fill in until the new person comes aboard. No vetting necessary. Nothing to worry about………..don’t be fooled. Guess what he is available now to fill in for the senatorial vacancey until election. Gov plans moving up toward presidential status?and the wheels are starting to spin. Pretty scarey when one day being white will be a crime. Sadly the innocent are becoming afraid.
And Colin Powell had the gall and audacity to say that there is a “dark vein of racism” in the Republican Party? Should have looked a little further. And who deemed an establishment “too white”? Isn’t that racism? Looks like he is in for quite a surprise.
Look at the bright side. Colin Powell almost ran for office, and many unsuspecting whites would have voted for him. Thankfully, he “came out” as a racist before we elected this former national hero.
You really didn’t think these nutjobs would appoint the likes of Walter Williams, Thoma Sowell, Benjamin Carson, Bishop Jakes or MLK for that matter? You have to be an agry communist on the verge of convertingt Islam to make the grade.
The blacks dont move into white neighborhoods cause they wanna be with the whites…. they do that to IRRITATE the whites…. then park their cars next to the front door instead of the double wide garage they have.. more and more crime is common cause the blacks try to hide from other blacks who they owe drug money to… then the shooting begins…. or they think the police wont find them selling dope in white neighborhoods… Little do they know the whites watch everything that goes on in their neighborhoods..
