Documents released by the State Department in two separate Freedom of Information Act requests bolster evidence Barack Obama became a citizen of Indonesia when he moved to the Southeast Asian nation with his mother and stepfather in the late 1960s.
In a passport amendment submitted Aug. 13, 1968, Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, identified her son with an Indonesian surname and asked the State Department to drop him from her U.S. passport.
The transaction could have been part of an effort by Dunham to obtain Indonesian citizenship for her son. It took place before the State Department began requiring all citizens traveling abroad, regardless of age, to obtain their own passport.
Several court cases challenging Obama’s presidential eligiblity have argued he gave up his U.S. citizenship in Indonesia and used an Indonesian passport to travel to Pakistan in the early 1980s. Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship.
The amendment was submitted less than a year after Dunham joined her second husband, Lolo Soetoro, in Indonesia. It requested “Barack Obama II (Soebarkah)” be removed from her U.S. passport, No. 777788.

Why is everyone who merely asks for documentation (the long form birth certificate) denigrated?
In the beginning the media conspired to give Obama a pass on his questionable communist associations and the Jeremy Wright, 20 year mentorship. Now, they have a lot at risk…for instance…their credibility as reporters (for what that is worth these days). When you conspire to hide something…you have to defend it to the death. Attacking the credibility of those who seek the truth and not their " trumpt up" version of the truth, come under the heading "enemy" and we will come under heavy mortar fire.

The Certification of Live Birth is the official birth certificate of Hawaii. That is the one that Obama posted. Moreover, it is the only one that he can post because it is the only one that he has. Hawaii has not sent out copies of the long form birth certificate ever since the Certification became the official birth certificate in 2001. However, the officials in Hawaii have repeatedly confirmed that the documents in Obama's files prove that he was born in Hawaii. His Kenyan grandmother never said that he was born in Kenya. She said repeatedly in the taped interview that he was born in Hawaii, and she said in another interview that the first that she had heard of Obama's birth was in a letter from Hawaii. The long-form birth certificate would show exactly what the official birth certificate shows. It is Hawaii, not Obama, that refuses to send it out. However, it is unnecessary because of all this evidence and because the Certification is the official birth certificate.

COLB is an abstract of information, which could come from an original birth certificate showing birth parents, or an amended birth certificate showing adoptive parents.
Barry's COLB almost certainly comes from an amended birth certificate. If so, and the probability is overwhelming, Obama the black Luo is an adoptive parent, and Barry is not black. He will not willingly disclose the original birth certificate because, five will get you ten, neither of his birth parents was black. My best guess is that Stanley Armour Dunham was the birth father and an obliging predominantly Polynesian wahine was the mother. The Hawaiian birth cert. is on file but not official. That is it was never meant to be a record for official business, like confirming he is eligible to be president of the USA. Many Japanese bought a Hawaiian birth cert. so they can come to America after the war. It also generated a news article of the birth. I believe it was his grandfather who got it for him (Obama). PJPony is half right. Both parents must be U.S. citizens at the time of birth for the little bastard baby to be a natural born U.S. citizen at the time of his birth. Odds are Barry's birth parents were both lifelong U.S. citizens. Barry, however, probably never bore a true allegiance to his native land, and lost his birthright natural born status by loss of citizenship altogether through forfeiture, disclaimer, renunciation, sedition, some combination of the foregoing, or otherwise. He should fly away, after thorough TSA examination, never to return.

If you guys are serious about getting the truth about this,then demand that your representatives submit a law that will force all future presidential nominees to show a LONG FORM bc. If there is nobody willing to do this then it is pretty clear that we have an illegitimate president.
Why limit it to future candidates?
It is imperative to determine by exhaustive investigation and analysis whether Barry committed fraud by getting on the ballot in 2008 (and perhaps previously) and committed high crimes and misdemeanors by purporting to be a federal officer when he was not and by corrupt and seditious bargains to conceal his ineligibility.
When Barry's clearly out of office, he can be criminally prosecuted.
While pretending to the Office of President, particularly if he was a natural born citizen at the time of his birth, which would raise a presumption of eligibility until later loss of citizenship is proved (a distinct possibility) he would be liable to impeachment.
And right now the states should investigate his probable electoral fraud, and those states which appointed electors pledged to him should carefully review whether those appointments should be rescinded for fraud.

States elect the President. Under Art. II Sec. 1 U.S.Const., presidential electors are appointed by each state as its legislature determines. States determine what presidential candidate gets on the ballot and they each have jurisdiction to determine whether past ineligible candidates got on fraudulently and what future candidates must show to establish eligibility.

If you still believe that Kenya was the place of birth, then explain please how a child born in Kenya could enter the USA without some kind of a US travel document such as a US visa on a foreign passport or the change to his mother's passport to include him while they were both in Kenya. If there were any such document, it would be easy to find in the records of visas applied for in Kenya in 1961 or changes to passports applied for in Kenya in 1961. The State Department was under the Republicans until January 2009, and you can bet that they looked with the allegations of Obama being born in Kenya. But there is no such document.

That means 59% do not know that Obama is legally a sitting president. We are told by select individuals he is legit but no proof has been produced to date proving it. In fact so much of his early life is hidden that one must question if he hasn't just assumed the identity of one known as Barack Obama since he was last known to have the name of Barry Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen and there is no paper trail showing he has ever changed his name legally so the name Barack Obama is an alias anyone can use. For all we know there is a Barry Soetoro living abroad someplace, hiding out until the impostor is finished with his work. Unfortunately for some we don't think he is martian, that's not a country on earth.
Official agencies with power of subpoena must obtain disclosure of all of Barry's vital records by going to the custodian, Dr. Fukino, and serving her with a subpoena. They also need relevant DNA samples and analysis.
LTC Terry Lakin's Court Martial would subpoena Barry's original birth certificate at the request of Lakin's defense counsel, but Barry is putting his thumb on the scales of justice. He has let the Court Martial judge know that she can never expect to advance in rank if she allows the original birth certificate to be subpoenaed. It is a natural inference that she will advance in rank if she blocks the subpoena.
The Court Martial judge has a rationale for excluding the original birth certificate, but she could with equal felicity rationalize its production, even if she then deemed it irrelevant to her theory of the case. In my experience in civil litigation, a court generally looks at proffered evidence before ruling on its admissibility. It seems precipitate to reject it sight unseen. In a properly conducted court system, it would seem that evidence ruled irrelevant must be part of the record on appeal, for a proper ruling on the point by the appellate tribunal.
I suspect that command influence was the real reason for the Court Martial judge's refusing to take Barry's original birth certificate into account in rendering final judgment. This is an outrageous breach of a defendant's right to mount a vigorous defense on a theory or theories of his own choosing, and Barry's interference with the integrity of the Court Martial proceedings is itself a ground for Barry's impeachment, whether or not LTC Lakin is guilty of insubordination or Barry is constitutionally eligible to the Office of President.
Barry is willing to destroy LTC Lakin to preserve Barry's claim to be black.
By itself, of course, the original birth certificate does not necessarily exclude the possibility of a ringer, as A_pen points out. Genetic analysis could probably confirm the parents named in the original birth certificate as the birth parents, thereby excluding the slim possibility of a ringer.
Investigative journalism lives.
Jerome Corsi's perception of Barry's natural born U.S. citizenship status at birth is flawed by his acceptance of the Kenyan birth myth and his overlooking the probability that SAD and BHO were adoptive parents, replacing Barry's U.S.-citizen birth parents. It is likely that these issues can be readily resolved by Barry's original birth certificate, verified by genetic analysis. These should establish that Barry was at the time of his birth a natural born U.S. citizen at birth.
But Corsi should be commended for his discoveries of highly significant evidence, far more difficult to come by, that shows good cause for exhaustive official investigation of Barry's probable loss of U.S. citizenship. I suspect, among other things, that Barry acquired Indonesian citizenship, that Indonesian interests were among those that illegally contributed to his political efforts, that Indonesian officials unlawfully covered up evidence of Barry's Indonesian citizenship, and that Barry seditiously paid them off with U.S. government contracts and other means that vastly enriched the officials, their families, companies and cronies, and Indonesia, at the expense of American treasure, technology and security. This goes not only to Barry's eligibility, but also to his liability for impeachment.
These investigations ought to start as soon as possible. They should soon show that his claimed racial heritage is false. That would probably reduce support among those who supported him in whole or part because they thought he was black, the son of a Luo tribesman, with kith 'n' kin in Africa. Also, delay could give him an opportunity to seize upon a pretext for a state of emergency and rule as a dictator.
Also, these investigations should not be prematurely terminated, even if they must continue beyond 2012, as every official action by Barry, including his acceptance of compensation and benefits, is in doubt. Once he is beyond any pretense of being President, he may be criminally prosecuted.
I pray that, with impetus from Corsi's work and LTC Lakin's derring-do, the people will demand their officials launch exhaustive investigations of Barry's eligibility, including high crimes and misdemeanors in connection with cover-ups of his citizenship status.
Good points. With all the confusion there has been little investigation of the intention served by limiting the office of president to a NBC. To secure that powerful position from the unknown desires of a mans heart is the highest protection but what any man has in between his ears is the really dangerous part. The purpose of longevity of age and residential status combined with a free press, not a controlled one, is all designed so we can know what may lurk in ones head. We know that all his mentors were never shown to the public and that they were all people that if examined would remind us that the cold war will not be ended on paper documents because it was a battle to overcome what was in hearts and minds.
That said, the birth as NBC is not the only question unanswered and will prove pale in comparison to a full exposure of his instruction from child to adult. The ideology pressed into this mans head is as dangerous to liberty today as the day it was first revealed to the human race as a way to acquire power. It is a proven strategy and it leaves in it's wake no liberty at all but death, poverty and a social structure without the capacity to challenge power. On my operating assumptions, the Obama eligibility crisis is rife with paradox. Barry is a great argument for requiring a candidate to be a natural born citizen. However, by my hypothesis he was born in the U.S. to birth parents who were both lifelong U.S. citizens, thus meeting the most stringent conditions for being a natural born citizen under Art. II Sec. 1 U.S. Const.
In a way it is fitting that Barry's ineligibility to the Office of President comes, not from an accident of birth, but from the deliberate acts of his adoptive mother the anti-American Stanley Ann Dunham and Barry himself upon his attaining maturity. For Philip Berg and Jerome Corsi, and others, have elicited evidence and reasonably speculated that Barry lost his U.S. citizenship upon removal to Indonesia and his acquisition and later affirmation of Indonesian citizenship.
The term "natural born citizen" subsumes "citizen". You can't be a natural born citizen if you're not a citizen at all, even if you were a natural born citizen at birth. I think this propounds the obvious. I keep saying it. Nobody denies it. Hence the natural born prerequisite can bar a candidate from the Office of President as a result of events long after his birth.
Very extensive, expensive and thorough official investigations into Barry's life must be conducted to determine whether he has lost U.S. citizenship and with it eligibility to positions for which he fraudulently ran.
Such investigations can be expected to disclose evidence of corrupt pay-offs of monumental proportions to cover up indications of Barry's loss of U.S. citizenship and the acquisition of foreign citizenship inconsistent with U.S. citizenship. Such pay-offs may be part of a miasma of international corruption that alone and as part of the corruption greatly impair U.S. treasure, technology and security. The American people, and Barry himself, are due a definitive resolution of the question of Barry's U.S. citizenship.

If citizenship was indeed given up and never reinstated, then the way I read the constitution, he is not eligible. So there must be a documentation trail that says otherwise or a great fraud has indeed been thrust upon us. As to what difference does it make now? Precedent. Once an exception has been made, others will soon follow. I believe the people are entitle to the facts and the truth of the situation. The POTUS is the most important visible post for our nation. We, as citizens, are entitled to know.
