April 5 (Reuters) – An internal NBC News probe has determined a “seasoned” producer was to blame for a misleading clip of a 911 call that the network broadcast during its coverage of the Trayvon Martin shooting, according to two sources at the network.
NBC News brass interviewed more than half a dozen staffers during its investigation of the misleadingly edited 911 call placed by George Zimmerman just before he shot the unarmed Florida teenager, said the sources, one of whom is an executive at the network.
The clip aired on the network’s flagship “Today” morning show last week.
The edit made it appear that Zimmerman immediately told police that Martin was black, when, in fact, the full tape reveals that the neighborhood watch captain only did so when responding to a question posed by a dispatcher.
There was no clear indication on Thursday of what, if any, disciplinary actions would be taken against the producer or other staff involved in the incident.

What a crock! NBC condones that kind of thing regularly. This “investigation” is nothing more than a COYA to keep NBC from getting the pants sued off them. NO staffer would have edited that tape and aired it without review. Who do they think they are kidding? If I was the Zimmermans, I’d sue them for everything they have. I, for one would kick in for their legal fees. This kind of biased crap is exactly what is gutting this country!
Integrity? None with any of the major news medias in my opinion. That person knew what he was doing was wrong. And who was supposed me monitoring this person? What a crock of BS!!!

If the criminal Trayvon Martin had not been beating on George Zimmerman, he would not have been killed in self defense. The media was caught for altering the 911 call to make Zimmerman appear racist. While this particular incident was a case of righteous self defense, there are many many black citizens being murdered by other black citizens. However, in no situation are more black people being slaughtered than in abortion mills. We need to be realistic and not manipulated by a media that wants to see a race war in order for Obama to be able to continue destroying this country.
