GENEVA (OfficialWire) — The NAACP is taking to the U.N. its effort to ensure that former convicted felons in the United States can vote.
A delegation from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was holding meetings Tuesday at the United Nation’s Geneva office in part to press the world body to send observers to the U.S. for this year’s elections.

The UN doesn’t have anything to do with voting rights in the United States. The NAACP doesn’t care about voting; they just want publicity. Convicted Felons cannot vote and should not. They have proven that they are not responsible members of society and therefore should not be allowed to vote. As for the NAACP; it is an outdated and useless organization whose only goal is to cause trouble.
NAACP needs to be done away with. They do NOTHING good for our country. Those big guys getting richer and richer for what?????? To do nothing but spread racism? That is not what it was supposed to be for. So Do away w/the NAACP its A BIG WASTE and USELESS just like the EPA. Get rid of both!
I believe that the NAACP is looking for nothing more than publicity. But, why should they be going to a international body like the UN ? For one, this is a body that for the most part, America has lost support in because of the way it has turned from an international body who would fight for fairness and rights for unfortunate countries who had no responsible governing body or one that took advantage of it’s citizens. Now they use their power for abusing western governments who have been championing the same down-trodden countries. Now it is being used by belligerent countries to force their views and beliefs on the rest of the world. Both organizations I believe should be disbanded for having no real use to well-developed countries.
The NAACP is THE most racist organization afloat. The KKK is probably a close second, but at least they are up front and honest about their hatred. The NAACP has outlived any actual usefullness, but have to find causes just to attempt to stay relevant; and of course keep the $$ flowing in so they can live high on the hog. If they can’t find a cause, they will create one. There’s still people out there who need help playing the race card from the experts. The idea of one obsolete, useless organization, crawling to another obsolete, useless organization whining about how we “mistreat’ murderers, rapists, molesters, thieves, drug dealers, etc. The UN has absolutely no say about our voting laws, despite the current administration doing it’s best to hand over this country’s soverignty to them. Does anyone really think the NAACP gives a sh*t about WHITE felons? They know that 70% of US prison polulations are non-white, and that’s quite the voting block. Too late to help Obummer keep his job though.
I believe, once a person was a con, and even now an ex-con, they lost their right to vote.
The fact that the NAACP still exist and gets attention from the U S press is evidence of how inept out government and U S Press is!!
As to a above mentioned comment about the legendary, KKK. I live in the rural south; I have not seem or heard anything regarding the Klan in the past forty years. What we do have is Gangs. over 90% of them are black. They are controlling most inner cites of the U S A. Creating total havoc. In any given week, the gang banger will commit more crimes than the KKK did in its entire existence. We are being fed; B S and told that it is chocolate cake. The racist loons who call themselves the, NAACP exist on donations mostly from outside the U S A. It is not about racial equality and has not been for many years if it ever was…
Instead of addressing the issues of racial injustice in this nation, I cannot recall a time when we were further away from either equality or justice. We need to arrest the leader of the, F B I for the damage they
are caused .When 7 plus million thugs calling themselves gang bangers are given a free pass. We have a serious problem. Part is the gutless press, the other is the worthless Feds who are not doing their jobs.
